  1. Ngonge, ciyaarta inaga daa adeer, in aanu Alpha af-soomaaligayga oo kale soo qori karin waad ogtahaye.
  2. Illeen kanoo kale markuu ku dabo galo waa balaayo. Aar niyoo shaqo kale raadso baan ku idhi.
  3. Ngonge, Soomaalidu waxay ku maahmaahdaa 'Muslinow run sheeg, muslinowna run u qaado." It's says something about ur character when u don't believe someone even after they have sworn by the Almighty.
  4. Alpha Blondy;928602 wrote: i agree with this statement. what is NGONGE's obsession with Al? wadani, i reckon you should have the honour of providing a psychological explanation inaar.... Well Al, this is nothing more than classic attention seeking behaviour on Ngonge's part, which I believe is manifesting itself as a response to the preceived threat we, the young and rising stars of SOL, pose to his status and position within the forum. I'm afraid his fears are not unfounded, since it's clear to any regular visitor of SOL that Ngonge has become nothing but a relic with nothing of substance to contribute, relegating him to SOL's underclass for eternity.

  6. Wallahi we're not. Silly Ngonge, his cynicism knows no bounds.
  7. loooooool, nice one Xaaji.

Upon a work visit there some years back, I had an interesting meeting with his descendants from a Seychellian wife. It was a fascinating story of the Somali diaspora experience. I put them in touch with some members of the family living in the U.S. From there, they've maintained contact (as for the rest, not being of the 'family', I'm not in the loop But it was interesting to see how far the Somali bloodline spreads through out the world. (Maybe this shouldn't be in the Politics section, but I'm too lazy to switch between Forums) Wow, Mintid u did something amazing. Good for u bro.

But ikraan is also married to a Somalilander if i am correct Warya Oba Zacks cousin Nimco dareen was also born in Hargeisa , and she is my niece also but she still loves her Azania ONLF part time Xabashi Liyuu side eventhough she likes Somaliland to. But i dont think she considers her self a Somalilander. Ikraan needs to leave xaafada pepsiga hargeisa and go to Mogadishu and learn Shirb kinda Buranburs and she needs to speak like a true Xaayoow. Wamaxay tan afka qal qaloocinayse Ma sand-dwellers baa reer abti u ah Nimco Dareen?

That was almost as entertaining as it was inaccurate. But u did get one thing right....i'm a gluntonnous carnivore who can eat hilib for an army; whether I owe this to my sand-dweller genes I cannot say .

  14. Alpha Blondy;928081 wrote: can you give me an analysis of my persona? Yes I can. Your are: exceptionally smart, analytic thinker, insightful. Much of ur strengths are cognitive in nature. Also u seem to be neurotic, insecure, plagued by self-doubts and jealousy, suffer from bouts of mild depression, hieghtened sense of self-importance, strong desire for power, fame and wealth. Ur weaknesses are emotional in nature. Also, it seems u are sociable and gregarious when in the right company, but standoffish and aloof when not.
  15. Alpha Blondy;928074 wrote: were those 'friends' also on SOL? how was their 'actual' personas different from their 'virtual personas'?...... and do you think we're an extension of our true beings when we post online ? I don't think one can completely divorce their online persona from their essential or true being. Such a feat would entail exhibiting uncharacteristc traits and deploying alien modes of thinking for extended periods of time. Someone who tries this would be found out soon enough, since their contrived personality would lack depth and suffer from horrible inconsistensies as the person makes it up in an ad hoc fashion. Our online personas, as wacky as they can be sometimes, are nothing more than our true selves given unlimited freedoms not present in the public domain.

Ur right Che, Somali women are the strongest in the world no doubt.

Somalicentric;925371 wrote: Lets be clear this is far from "penis envy" nor am i trying to further this banal exchange to gender binary noise. & there is nothing intrinsically valuable about western epistemology, so to clump me with the mainstream idea of feminism (i.e, middle age white women who gloss over race, class, ethnicity, sex/gender orientation) & the occasional few that are a few fries short of a happy meal is just down right dismissive. In addition, some things should go without saying, like my love for Somali brothers... i shouldn't be passively coerced to say this to gauge whether what I'm espousing can be written off as *insert man bashing sentiment here.* That brings me to, something else that should go without saying... The amount of male members the feel the need to intervene as "the voice of reason" masquerading as "coming to my aid" should also be indicative of something. Thanks for the clarification. U don't put western ways of knowing on a pedestal, and u love ur fellow Somali brothers. Hmm, I think we can get along just fine.
