The task of the goverment should be security building security institutions and reconciling the Somali communities . They have no other task i urge the goverment to have to separate minister one local security which will cooperate with the interior minister and to change the entire national security team. +1. I agree

  12. I disagree during the fightings, properties were dirt cheap in xamar especially when Al shabaab controlled parts of the city.

C&b, I have to say thats not cheap at all, makes more sense then the ones in Xamar competing with first housing prices in a place where the average wages for a dollar is a dollar or less. I was watching that cnn special for that resturant near the beach. The man says he charges $20 dollar. All through out, am thinking how is Somali food twice as much as here as here in the US? Compared to xamar its cheap dee those houses would cost double as much in xamar.

Published on July 30, 2013 by ali mohamed · No Comments Dhaqdhaqaada xarakada Al-shabaab ee waayahan dambe aad ugu soo xoogeystay magaalada Muqdisho ayaa fiidnimadii caawa waxa ay magaalada ku daadiyeen waraaqo digniin ah oo ay fariin ugu dirayaan gaadiidleyda BL-ka iyo shacabka reer Muqdisho. Warqadaha digniinta ah oo ay daadiyeen Al-shabaab ayaa waxaa ku qornaa in waqtigan wixii ka dambeeya raga iyo dumarka aysan baabuurta is dhex fariisan karin. Arrintan ayaa waxaa aad ula yaaban shacabkii warqadahaasi iyagu akhristay, waxayna sheegeen inay tahay wel wel iyo walaac din u soo cusboonaaday. Hadaba lama oga in awaamiirtan ka soo baxay Al-shabaab ay shacabka reer Muqdisho, iyadoo dadka qaar ay kuu sheegayaan in qaadashada awaamiitooda ay ka bilaabatay baabuurta ka shaqeeysa inta u dhexeeysa Baar Ubax ilaa iyo Suuqa Xoolaha.
  19. No wonder why Galmudug branch is pissed of Abdullahi Ahmed addow's first cousin got killed and a top politician who was a mp in 64, served as the mayor of merca pre 91 also a diplomat was killed together with hid grandson. I would understand if the watermaals targeted the dhuusamareb branch since they have a bad history but why target the Galmudug branch who has been neutral since the banana wars in the 90s? Thats dulmi it seems like the watermaals are asking for trouble
  20. Intelligence officials in Lower Shabelle region of Somalia confirmed that the barbaric assassination of Hero Ahmed Gure Mamun was organized by water individuals who were campaigning for Habar Gangster extinction in the last couple of months. Ahmed Gure Mamun, a 91 years old veteran politician/diplomat, together with his grand child Mahad Abdi Ahmed have been taken out from their farm house between Kabtan Las and Bulo Sheikh, and subsequently shot dead by water clan militia. The militia set ablaze the bodies of the two. Somali Intelligence officials released the names of the culprits. Among others were IbrahimAbdullahi Addow, a US Somali citizen, Ahmed Moallim Mohamed aka Dishiblin, Head of UNICEF office in Merca, and Mohamed Sheikh Hassan Jiis. A video purportedly published by water clan websites shows these men clearly vow to kill Habar Gedir personalities in the region in front of Somali Federal government officials. Ahmed Gure spent most of his non-political life in the region. He left behind prominent figures in the Somali society such as Dr Muhubo Ahmed Gure of UNDP, Dr. Muhudin Ahmed Gure MD, Abdi Ahmed Gure an engineer, and Halimo Ahmed Gure an Economist. His killing was described by analysts as a litmus test to see how his sub-clan would react, and the fate of the organized killings in the region as well.
