There's no daily stabbings and killings here; I meant the news about suicide bombings in Iraq or Afghanistan or the freak earth quacks in Asia which take out whole cities; death and destruction every 15 minutes; no thanks! And no, we don't drive on the wrong side of the road, the rest of the world does; our motto is "left is right" I didn't insult it you got it wrong. You guys are the only ones in the world who drive in the opposite direction come on you know that. Don't fight it.
  2. Turn not your cheek away from people in scorn and pride, and walk not on earth haughtily; for God does not love anyone who acts proudly and boastfully. Be modest in your bearing and lower your voice; for the ugliest sound is the donkey’s braying. Luqman 31: 18-19 Say: The Truth has come from your Lord. So I decided to stop watching; now I'm blissfully ignorant about the world's news except Somalia, which is personally relevant. Ps: surprise how? I understand where you are coming from too much stabbings and killings in London the news must be depressing. Whatever makes you happy and at peace. You guys drive at the wrong side of the road, left is right and right is left.

  9. Siyaasi - Lol at Somali planet. Where did these men get the idea from that sitting like a lady is ok. They are just feminine yes I said it, they can be powerful leaders and yet be a lil feminine. A manly man does not sit like that. Apophis - Giving it a more manly name won't change the pose it's still crossing your legs. You don't have any explanation.

  13. My goodness since when did it became normal for men to cross their legs. I can't stand man who do that and I can't take him serious while he's doing that.
  14. Only time will tell whether this man is the right man to rule Somalia. A good indication of his leadership will show after his first hard task when he encounters tough times and needs to make the right decision, before that you can't really tell. Alles goed gozer

Maarodi;866481 wrote: @ Bluelicious Thanks for the informative flyer, I'm going to save it and pass it along because shiisha smoking is seen as a better alternative and the dangers associated with it are downplayed (through ignorance and addiction I suppose). I didn't even know about the dangers of secondhand shiisha smoke and would eat out at Turkish or Arab restaurants where everyone smoked it around me. Come to think of it we should have that flyer translated into Somali and post it around the community coffee hang-outs. Thanks and you are welcome Maarodi Yes second hand shisha smoking is as harmful and damaging to you I didn't know that at first but it makes sense. When I came to realisation about that I knew I had to avoid the whole situation together and not be in the same room as some one who's doing it whether it be at a coffee place or a restaurant etc. That would be much needed to hang flyers around in Somali but someone has to also give a information talk about it since not everybody reads flyers.

Not the ones speaking the same language but the ones sharing the same feeling understand each other.

There's something attractive about wearing one lol@ glasses with no frames - now that's taking it to another level. eww Don't do it girl, i've tried them out to see how they fit me and how it feels let me tell you it needs adjusting it's uncomfortable. Why anybody would wanna go through that for glasses they don't need is beyond me. I choose being comfortable over fashion since fashion is a form of ugliness so intolerable that we have to alter it every six months.

That is messed up when people wear glasses for fashion when they don't even need glasses. Have you ever came across those glasses that don't have any glass in them it's just the frame. I've seen people wear it like that lol.
