  1. I am not sure why you feel like its your fault, but if it is something you can change now try, However I don't think parents would break a marriage up based on something their child did or didn't do, By the way my parents actually sat me and my siblings down to say they were getting divorced, so my sisters said if they get divorced that she was going to shave her hair off,get a tattoo plus join a gang of famines bikers, don't think that worked, but i guess she was trying to say that the divorce was going to mess her up , try to talk to them an explain that you need them to stay together.
  2. Yes Kony is a "bad guy" however there are hundreds that are like Kony, do people know them no. No one knows about Kony's whereabouts. The video is misleading the viewers and misinforming them into thinking that this is still going on in Uganda. Kony left Uganda in 2006 and has moved on to Sudan. Why, then, is IC promoting the donation of money through care packages to Uganda? Possibly (or possibly not) coincidentally, IC has been losing popularity recently. The invisible children donation goes to other activities only 31% of donation actually goes to charity.
  3. ^ @Africaown, i didnt mean to offend anyone, I am just saying I have read someone or maybe two that brought it into the discussion. Just seems to me that we dont need to blame everything to clan and who is on who's side.
  4. The government should not be criticized for doing their job, which is moving the countries economic forward and you know what makes me really angry how some people can bring in how this whole thing is about clan, that is just so ignorant, that is why Somalis will never move forward. Having said that i believe the government should not have interfered in this and should have let Dahabshill market its self to the people in Barbar, offering them some sort of benefit, e.g. support in local schools and maybe health and the company should 'av negotiated with the local people.
  5. I honestly think it will not benefit the the people, if it benefits anyone it will benefit the rich, and the foreign countries. I believe so because we do not have a stable government that will manage things, plus there are still conflicts going on in the country, how do we expect to drill oli and get benefit when there is no stability. All this other countries that have a sudden interest in Somalia and its PEACE, are there to take a share. I am not a pessimistic person but when has there ever come any good from anywhere where the USA and the UK have interfered. They do not care about Somalia or it's people, every man is looking out for its best interest.
  6. by: Maya Angelou Pretty women wonder where my secret lies. I'm not cute or built to suit a fashion model's size But when I start to tell them, They think I'm telling lies. I say, It's in the reach of my arms The span of my hips, The stride of my step, The curl of my lips. I'm a woman Phenomenally. Phenomenal woman, That's me. I walk into a room Just as cool as you please, And to a man, The fellows stand or Fall down on their knees. Then they swarm around me, A hive of honey bees. I say, It's the fire in my eyes, And the flash of my teeth, The swing in my waist, And the joy in my feet. I'm a woman Phenomenally. Phenomenal woman, That's me. Men themselves have wondered What they see in me. They try so much But they can't touch My inner mystery. When I try to show them They say they still can't see. I say, It's in the arch of my back, The sun of my smile, The ride of my breasts, The grace of my style. I'm a woman Phenomenally. Phenomenal woman, That's me. Now you understand Just why my head's not bowed. I don't shout or jump about Or have to talk real loud. When you see me passing It ought to make you proud. I say, It's in the click of my heels, The bend of my hair, the palm of my hand, The need of my care, 'Cause I'm a woman Phenomenally. Phenomenal woman, That's me.
  7. I don't care, as long as it is in a muslim country
  8. Poem by: Frances Ellen Watkins Harper Make me a grave where'er you will, In a lowly plain, or a lofty hill; Make it among earth's humblest graves, But not in a land where men are slaves. I could not rest if around my grave I heard the steps of a trembling slave; His shadow above my silent tomb Would make it a place of fearful gloom. I could not rest if I heard the tread Of a coffle gang to the shambles led, And the mother's shriek of wild despair Rise like a curse on the trembling air. I could not sleep if I saw the lash Drinking her blood at each fearful gash, And I saw her babes torn from her breast, Like trembling doves from their parent nest. I'd shudder and start if I heard the bay Of bloodhounds seizing their human prey, And I heard the captive plead in vain As they bound afresh his galling chain. If I saw young girls from their mother's arms Bartered and sold for their youthful charms, My eye would flash with a mournful flame, My death-paled cheek grow red with shame. I would sleep, dear friends, where bloated might Can rob no man of his dearest right; My rest shall be calm in any grave Where none can call his brother a slave. I ask no monument, proud and high, To arrest the gaze of the passers-by; All that my yearning spirit craves, Is bury me not in a land of slaves.
  9. We all suffer from this or once did. Not many of us are brave enough to admit that this is a problem and speak out. Waswaas is a kind a sickness, may Allaah keep us and you safe from it. It is caused by the shaytaan gaining control over a person and filling him with anxiety, grief, distress and worry. Allaah intends for you ease, and He does not want to make things difficult for you” [al-Baqarah 2:185] And the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Religion is very easy and whoever overburdens himself in his religion will not be able to continue in that way. So you should not be extremists, but try to be near to perfection and receive the glad tidings that you will be rewarded.” Narrated by al-Bukhaari (39). Simply seek knowledge that is the only way that you can get some answers and also keep company with people that you will benefit from.

    LOVE?

Love and infatuation between the sexes are among the worst of problems. It never does anything positive even once married one is married because they love the physical attributes of the other. Rather care and respect, and after marriage fall in love with the person personality, behaviour and physical attributes.

    LOVE?

Fixation, to love is just a sickness that I love to suffer. Iam truly over and out of love with love. Lover of love I say this; love is just a disease that awaits the yearning lonely heart wanting to love. Patiently love spreads, manipulate then as if a lion preying on its prey break it in dozens of pieces and crash, smashes hearts into millions. Pieces once pumping with love, joy, and tenderness, now so loveless, filled with pain, and suffer; nothing can be done or said, not a thing can deteriorate the state. Broken heart is all the same to me, dear love giver, love taker, love seeker, love lover don not lone, give or borrow hearts.
