  1. A female teacher, was having a problem with Akpors in her class of 3rd grade. Akpors said 'M'am, I should b in 4th grade, i'm smarter than my sis & she's in the 4th grade'. The M'am {Teacher} had heard enough of his complains & took Akposr 2 the Principal's office. She explained everything 2 the Principal who decided 2 test Akpors with some questions that a 4th grade should know. Principal: What's 3 + 3? Akpos: 6 Principal: 6 + 6? Akpos: 12 & so on.. The Principal asked the boy many questions and Akpors got them right. The Principal then asked M'am 2 send Akpors 2 4th grade. M'am decided 2 ask some more questions & the Principal agreed. M'am: What does a cow have 4 of, that Ï've only 2 of? Akpors: Legs M'am: What's in ur pants that u have but I dont have? Akpors: Pockets M'am: What starts wit a C & ends with T, is hairy, oval, delicious & contains thin whitish liquid? Akpors: Coconut M'am: What goes in hard & pink then comes out soft & sticky? The principal's eyes open really wide, but b4 he could stop the answer, the boy was taking charge. Akpors: Bubble Gum M'am: U stick ur poles inside me. U tie me down 2 get me up, I get wet b4 u do. What am I? Akpos: Tent The principal was looking restless M'am: A finger goes in me. U fiddle with me when u're bored. The best man always has me 1st n what am I? Akpors: Wedding Ring M'am: I come in many sizes. When Ï'm not well, I drip. When u blow me,u feel good? Akpors: Nose M'am: I've a stiff shaft. My tip penetrates,I come with a quiver Akpors: Arrow M'am: What starts wit 'F' & ends with a 'K' & if u dont get it, u've 2 use ur hand? Akpors: Heart The principal breathed a sigh of relief & told the teacher:- 'Send Akpors 2 University, I got the last 10 questions wrong myself!
  2. Of course the Saudis and other Arab states have been involved in Somalia way before the Turks came. The involvement of the Saudis and their neighbours was entirely ''Islamic'' in nature. They heavily invested in Madrassas, mosques, the importation of Quran books and other misinterprated religious literature and the unwavering support of the ''Mujahideens'' :-D

  4. Depends on how much money and property you have. Some of the figures posted by some members are just obscene and some figures are too little. I felt rich long time ago and I wasn't close to a million :-D
  5. The events that marked the beginning of the end.
  6. I'm deeply fascinated by the concept of ''Friends for the sake of Allah''. Unfortunately I have never had such a friend in my life. Someone to constantly remind you of Allah whenever you go astray and yet whom you can have an intelligent discourse with. Not the current wadaads who constantly nag you with Palestine and how the west is conspiring against Muslims, those who think the mention of ''girl'' in a conversation will lead to hell. I think friendship for the sake of Allah is transcendental. I remember once I was in Kenya and my aabo calls me and tells me to pass by the grave of his long time friend and pray for him, recite some quran on it. That kind of friendship which transcends even death.

Dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they make act on their dreams with open eyes to make it possible ;-)
  8. I thought government officials run these scholarship schemes.

Hiiraan and Galgaduud folks are the lightest skinned Somalis? I don't know what's with the obsession with light skin, but that's just far from the truth. They may have beautiful women but they still can NEVER compare to women of the North and Somali galbeed. That's a fact.
  11. There's no relationship between The Southern People and South Sudan. The Gambela of the western Ethiopia are the brothers of the new South Sudan state.

When Somalia with more than 3k coast line revives its economy, many Somali business men will appreciate the significance of Ethiopia as a critical market. This may only be realized if Ethiopia changes her extremely stringent economic policies. Currently, you can't even bring anything from Debrezeit to Addis Ababa. I have dreams of a historic merger between the OGs and the Duriyada, in the event of a peaceful breakaway of the Somali state, and the subsequent mouth-watering prospects of a deal that will see free trade that will directly link The Faafan valley, Fiiq, Dhagaxbuur and as far as Liiban to Seylac and Berbera. This will mark the beginning of a renaissance.

I just meant to say, it's extremely difficult to find a white-teethed, sensible human on the eastern side of the town. You may be a rare occurence ;-)
  15. metta;912163 wrote: The whitest ethnic Somalis you will find are reer Hiiraan. They live in cold temperatures depending on the season. 15 degrees is normal there at times. Sometimes in the morning, there is frost on the ground. You will never find a dark skin real local Beledweyne person. I think Beledweyne women should always represent Somalia in those world beauty pageants. Oh my shitness!
  16. Narniah;912074 wrote: Lol I understand what you are saying. He does over do it at times but it's a positive trait of ones character to smile. I can't stand a fake smile and a miserble person who is always serious. Somalee which category do you fall under? I'm very polite to strangers but I never smile for them. I'm normal with my friends, family and the people I know. I consider myself to be sociable and fun, but not to strangers but am just not the back-slapping, loud-mouthed extrovert :-D
  17. There's currently a power struggle between the Oromo, The Amhara and The Tigray. I don't think any of these ethnic communities may be harboring secessionist thoughts, and the reason is these people want to preside over a united Ethiopia. I don't think this report is entirely accurate but there are some elements of truth in it. The most likely region to breakaway is The Somali Regional State, Somalis are not involved in the inner power struggle, they do not identify with the other Ethiopians and they can breakaway through a referendum. Let's wait and see how the next general election goes.
  18. Depicting a Burcoan as a white-teethed, sensible human is a fallacy of the greatest order @ Xaaji :-D :-D :-D
  19. Jacpher;912054 wrote: ^Mooga, regardless of his smile, I don't think anything this president does is gonna make you accept his presidency so why bother. Somalee, If his smile is irritating you, his speech must make you throw up. Admitt it man. You can't stand the guy. I have nothing personal against the president if that's what you are insinuating. I respect the presidency but what bothers me is the constant, idiotic smile on his face. It goes against a presidential code of conduct and etiquette. With all the horrible things that are currently going on in the country, the president has the audacity to foolishly grin at everyone and everything. Even when there's nothing to smile about. He represents all Somalis and I have the right to be concerned here. PS: I have info that he may be going to Brussels mid-next week and since the Europeans are struggling with their own economic problems, it'll be ideal for the president to wear his trademark grin :-D
  20. The only logical thing after that was the man to quickly pull up his pants and ran very fast behind the nun, assuming of course, that the man didn't get a boner which would've made it illogical to run :-D
  21. Great posts. Thanks :-)

  23. Oba, thou art a cool dude :-)
  24. I find the constant smile of our President very irritating. Jagada madaxweynenimada waxay leedahay heybad iyo sharaf, qof mar walba aan afka isku qabaneyn waxaa ka maqan heybada madaxweynenimada. Qosolku xaaraan ma aha, but at least wax muuqda ku qosol. Had iyo jeer Madaxweyne Xassan Sheikh wuu qoslayaa.
