Just coz my ancestors hail from North Somalia doesn't make me a Somali citizen as the reality is; I have no connection with my ancestor's country of origin, but consider my birth place my only home (whether that sounds daft to your tribe-infested minds or not). Amina assumes Kakamega and Kenya as her only home. I met her as a PS in the justice ministry regarding a murder, where a daqan celis kid from Denmark together with others knifed another Somali kid (the murderer was from her tribe), and she seemed just and fair in dealing with the case. I am sure she'll do a good job as FM of Kenya.

^^Good questions there, nuune. Indeed Farah and Afey's efforts were remarkable during their tenure (compared to other Somali MPs). Affey lost by the way. Olow is the new senator of Wajir. Duale clearly rigged the Garissa township MP seat after refusing to sign the forms and went into hiding and was later mysteriously presented with the certificate by the presiding officer. Jofle led in almost all wards. Strange, I tell you. Dadaab constituency; Shidiye have won Ijara; New comer Bishar Ibrahim Abass Nadhif has a slight lead in the governor's race (around 20% of the registered votes counted so far). Haji won the senatorship. As far as the presidential race is concerned, it's too early to call despite Uhuru's lead. Bare in mind only 5-10% of Raila's strongholds (such as coast, Nyanza, Eastern and some western regions) has been counted while Uhuru's strongholds have had more than 50% of their votes tallied. Raila would definitely catch up, but it seems it'll head to a re-run.

Chaos in GSA regarding the MP elections as both teams (Jofle and Duale) claim to have won. Some 'official' reports do verify Jofle as the winner. Some are saying Duale is arrested after instigating violence.

Only 10% of the votes are so far counted. And Uhuru has an early lead. All in all, it doesn't look good for Raila. Seems he has lost the solid support he used to have in Northern parts of the country. From Mandera to Marsabit. Western is divided too. These are areas that were strongholds of Raila's ODM, Therefore, the chances of a Raila presidency is quite slim. As far as I know......In Garissa town Joofle is leading (Duale is def out). Shidiye won Lagdera while Ina Ibrahim Abass is apparently the clear winner in Ijara. Some reports indicate Nadhif is leading in the governor's elections while Haji leads in the senate one. Clueless as in? Politically he's as clueless as Korane. Nadhif thrived and is well recognized in his filed just as Korane achieved as much in his civil service years. They're both novice in politics, save for Korane's failed attempt to clinch Dujis constituency in last elections. Though rumour has it that Korane is in the lead, I heard the race is hot and both teams are vigorously campaigning. Not mentioning the tribal arithmetic that's quite compelling this time around. The tribal effect will surely not have a recognizable impact on the gubernatorial race as much as it would've on Farah and Haji's race. Nadhif's folks will definitely not vote for Haji as a senator even though Korane's team have Ahmednadhir in their group. On the other hand, Korane allegedly enjoys little support in Ijara and environs. As mentioned things are not as clear as you make it seem. Marka ignore the manic grandiose delusions Korane's fans seem to suffer and give SOLers, especially those who barely follow NEP's politics, a fair synopsis of the situation. Granted you're sure of Korane's win but what are the chances of Haji becoming a senator as he's an embedded unit of Korane's team? Edit: Ps.
