Oh, blimey, is it really that hard to refute Bashir's argument and Burahadeer's addition? Because as things have preceded in this thread it comes of as if it's. All I see is employment of ad hominems and people dodging the whole thing. It's embarrassing, really.

So there will be 'Ina Labaax-Sankataabte' after all? Congrats!

I think we're bit too obsessed with marriage as a society and fail at it for the most part. I blame the lack of the boyfriend-girlfriend system (or any other similar one at that).

Right on, Raamsade! Many people view him as sort of a scientific authority and quote him on matters relating to science and religion when his knowledge of science is practically nonexistent. It reminds me of Paul Valéry when he speaks of the human 'folly' of mistaking 'a torrent of verbiage for a spring of capital truths.' Another such guy is Harun Yahya. In my opinion it's sad that the big proponents of Islam in the philosophical and scientific arena are an interior designer who probably neither took a science class nor a philosophy one and a medical doctor ignorant of both! I think all other big religions have better proponents than Islam in this sense.

My favourite part is when he says "then came the Homo sapiens, who died about five hundred thousand years ago."

Somalia, I'm convinced you don't believe yourself half the stuff you say around here. I'm not going there, sir. No, no.

We had a bet on it and I produced two Somali authors and more than half a dozen Western historians maintaining that the Arab descendancy story is myth. They insisted that they know a guy who knows a guy who knows an Arab Sheikh who has the documents proving the story of a particular Sheikh. True story!

Honestly, why? He's hopeless. Most of the time he doesn't know what he's talking about. See this: His science is at the level of one of those young Earth creationists. Don't get me wrong - I'm all for good debates on religion/atheism and really admire many men who deviced some good arguments for religion. But why this guy, whose knowledge of science and philosophy appears not to exist at all, attracts so many fan-boys who think he's knowledgable on these matters is a mystery to me.

Maaddeey;800912 wrote: ^^ How is a medical doctor be scientifically illiterate?. Or it is because of his religion as your comment on Hizb al Nuur member of Egypt?. Nice to see you back. Well, apparently yes, and he's a living proof of that. Watch him make the biggest possible blunder in this video: If not knowing the definition of 'scientific theory' doesn't qualify as being 'scientifically illiterate', I don't know what does.

Goodness me, this is one of the worst articles I've read in a while. To say actors like Adrian Lester have won prominent Hollywood roles after having suffered set backs in here is completely inaccurate. Adrian Lester took roles that most British actors only dream of and the only Hollywood he had that I remember was one that was actually 'stereotypical' and was largely about the issue of racism.

You neither phrased a reasonable objection nor requested an explanation for our sentiments. As it happens, it's not even clear what exactly you are burning about. To accuse others of ignorance and being emotional when this is the case is just pure undiluted irony.

Engaging a mindless war with your neighbour does not qualify as dignity. It's the opposite, in fact.
