AUN, we should refrain from making this a case about HAG negligence and misled priorities, as well as careless security.

Mooge is right, Kacaanists have been given back their lands, unfortunately some have been killed in the process, but even Kacaan leader's daughter and son have their lands back, and we can all guess where those were obtained from, yet legitimate properties are still occupied.. Expect no justice from a HAG thugs and you will not be disappointed.

kkkkkkkkkkkkk, puppets of Faroole need to be stopped

The people of Puntland support democratization plans, and now Faroole will become popular again, it's guaranteed and secured because of very small sections of society, all of these people total are under 100 and standing between 4 buildings. Secondly, internal power systems can vary, but at the end it will be self governance, the most important thing for Somalis. It is fair to say MOST Somali regions are today working towards a federal state and see the benefits it can have for a people. You come from Somaliland which holds the record for postponing elections and extending presidencies, you are in no position to even argue for a better solution, start at home. We will take lessons from great democracies. You are fighting a ghost, Carafaat.

It's fake, he edited the real release by Puntland Government. http://www.garoweonline.com/artman2/publish/Wararka_19/Puntland_waxay_Joojisay_Doorashooyinkii_Deegaanka.shtml At the end of the day, this has nothing to do with federalism, even if you want to swing it that way. Federalism is already the law of the land, and now many other Somalis want it as well. In fact, it's easy to say that the majority of Somali regions want federalism. Bye bye to your central scheming, welcome fairest system of the land.

Carafaat, elections were not scheduled to take place as said and was planned on being postponed when these riots happened, and it gave Faroole the opportunity to cancel them all together. Ballot boxes are not sent out to towns 3-7 days before the elections but that takes careful planning for months. The people protesting are not doing it because it's a scam but for self-entitlement and spoiling and they aren't a large group of opposition, they could easily be dispersed and these two towns have now created unnecessary chaos needed for some people. If elections were scheduled to happen they would have occurred as planned but it was never the intention this time around. In Sanaag half a dozen boxes were sent, for what?

To the 3 Somalilanders who entered this thread to score points and think they invented democracy, how many times have elections been cancelled in Somaliland, in fact how many just under former National Security Service division chief under Siad Barre, Colonel Riyaale, president of Somaliland? Chaos feared as Somaliland cancels elections Somaliland is facing the ugly prospect of election -related violence akin to that which occurred in Kenya after the 2007 general election. A self-declared independent state, Somaliland was set to hold its much-awaited presidential election on September 27. Last week, the election commission indefinitely postponed the elections, citing the deteriorating political environment. The president later forcibly closed the breakaway republic’s parliament after it began debating impeachment charges against him. The campaigns were marked by escalating tensions between the government and opposition parties, some of which were pushing for an election boycott. The presidential election has previously been postponed twice. http://www.theeastafrican.co.ke/news/-/2558/657204/-/view/printVersion/-/rb9vrpz/-/index.html
