  1. Again, the level of intellectual rigour on your part is astonishingly embarrassing. I never claimed moral high ground, I just highlighted a simple problem like a few others do on this site. Now, we can get onto real issues or we can play around, I am great at both. Don't "swear" to me, I don't care for your swearing, I care for the facts.
  2. I do not care, Xaaji Xunjuf promoted the idea of 'an eye for an eye' for me. Let the record show, playing ball is my speciality.
  3. Those are total rape statistics, but not gang rapes targeting specific groups of society, especially minority clans. That's where it gets different. Rape happens everywhere, but not targeted rape like in Congo. One must see things not in black and white but be able to differentiate circumstances regarding actions. This is not the first time the question has been raised.

That is the question one asks himself. Violating women like this during a stable government... there's just no excuse for this.
  5. This is another issue that has plagued all of Somalia, however, the practice of a more dangerous form of this heinous act is taking a toll in the secessionist region of Somaliland, which declared its independence in 1991. It has yet to gain the recognition of a single country, in a world where we have 193 countries, surely these acts cannot help its cause. Female genital mutilation (FGM) is almost universal in Somalia and infibulation , the most dangerous form of FGM, is still practised, especially in Somaliland, which ignores existing regulations . In 1972, the government established a policy to eradicate FGM: this action prompted strong social resistance and all efforts to combat the practice ended as government institutions crumbled. Even though Somaliland has established the principal institutions to become a nation, it is not capable of adhering to regulations to prevent such acts, while Somalia has not had an effective government for over 20 years. This shows there's no excuse for Somaliland turning a blind eye to such sickening acts. http://genderindex.org/country/somalia
  6. This issue must be tackled in the utmost manner to deter the youth of this troubled region to stop raping people. The sexual violence against Ethiopian migrants as well as other minorities such as the Gabooye must be put to an end. I urge the people of Somaliland to take an urgent stance against these vile actions. Women have paid a high price in recent civil conflicts, which have been characterised by numerous cases of rape. Moreover, women living in camps for displaced persons continue to be particularly vulnerable to sexual violence. There has been a recorded increase in the number of gang rapes in the autonomous region Somaliland, primarily in poor neighbourhoods and among immigrant populations. http://genderindex.org/country/somalia

Like many of you I agree that Somalia is a annoying troll that should get banned, ever since the day me and Knight joined this site he has been on our case harassing, stalking us around on the forums, accusing us of being the same person. He's jealous of Knight he's obssessed with him knows his whole cyber history and wants to be him but he can't be him so he resorts to jealousy and bitterness. If I am going to be banned for saying that you might have been the same person because he used to have several profiles, boys and girls in SNet, then so be it. This is SOL, you don't write it in 3 words, you give an essay, he forgot that simple rule, remember, when he joined I told him to cut it out because he'd get banned, just check our conversation in the "Shout out to SSC members" thread.

  10. Brabrand is considered a ghetto in Denmark, so imagine what the other neighbourhoods look like. But I see the man's view, if you guys lived there you'd realise people are quickly turning against Somalis, Danes like peace and quiet, Somalis with an average of 5 children crash the place, I'm sorry, he is wrong but he is also right.
  11. "SSC manaqaano, daacadaha un baa ka maqalnaa", that was too funny Erigabo was such a peaceful city, now it joined the ranks of the others.
  12. The report shows that the World Bank didn't have enough time and due to political instability didn't do the research to the fullest which is also why they justify the budget and the high number of exploration visits to different parts of the region. They also focus on Mudug which at the time was the center of an insurgency.

  19. Offshore deposits of oil Geologist Z. R. Beydoun, said offshore sites possess "the geological parameters conducive to the generation, expulsion and trapping of significant amounts of oil and gas." There were further small gas discoveries along the east coast and just offshore of Socotr a, but nothing of commercial proportions.
