Oodweyne, Jacpher and co dont regard Hasan Sheick as their President. He even questions his legitimacy. He rather supports Kenyatta and his policies towards Somalia. Punland wont have any real and fair elections(see the press release posted by Ayoub). That is a fact. Still the pirates strstegy doesnt seem to be based on getting Puntland in order but rather jumping on the next best ships that comes along, in this case Jubbaland. Just us the real pirates have no intention of creating an honoust living from the earned fees, they move on to the next opportunity that comes along in the sea of possibilities.

Oodweyne, indeed all 4 points concern more Puntland then Somaliland. Why keep refering to Somaliland as distraction then deabting/dealing with it. Why arent Puntlanders discussing their futile poltics or at least coming up with reasonable alternatives. Thats something I really dont understand. But on the other, I neither understand the logic or rationel of piracy or theft for that matter. Makes little sense to debate it, its a wait and see if one can get away with it. Or in Baashi's case, distract with the birds and bees singing.

Daqane, I agree. As a matter of fact its a sign of civilisation, which should be applauded. If it was up to me, I would petition something more urgent and concerning. But I aint Ali Khaliif Galeyr nor a Professor.

Baashi, I dont think those 4 points will make a big diffrence for Somaliland as long as Independence/secession is not discussed. However what I and mand many others are wondering is where the alternative voice of the reasonabke Puntlanders is? What is your answer on those 4 points when you see the developnents, where is the debate? Puntland seems to have locked itself up in an imposdible equation. And that is were the current frustrations of Xiin and Carafaats enjoyment is coming from.
