  1. The security of Mogadishu is first and fore most test for this goverment. Failing the security of Mogadishu, is failing Somalia and failing in the eyes of Somalis. President Hasan Sheick and PM Saacid will be judged hardly on this issue, if they dont step up and make considerable improvement.

Puntland will soon forward a Position Paper on Somalia to the London Conference II. — END — It seems the regional actors were not invited. I doubt we will see Xin iyo Xeeb, ASWJ and Godmudug in Londen. I think this a positive step, Foreign policy is the domein of the central goverment and not of the clan states.
  3. I dont understand why Siilanyo hasnt put Xaaji on the paylist. Xaaji would be the excellent e-Spokesman of the Somaliland goverment.
  4. He is importantant, after all he is the President of Somalia, the Head of the State, Madaxii jirka Somalia la dhahoo. Where Faroole is a governor of Bari and Nugaal and just a finger in the overall equation(afcourse still important for Somalia).
  5. He is the Ugaas of Awdal folks. Visiting Borama for the first time. Horta Saladiintii SSC baryahan xagee joogaan? Boqor Buurmadoow intee ayuu ku dambeyay? I heard he was tortured by Habro cousins in Jail, maxaa ka jira sheekada?
  6. Samafal;945382 wrote: ^How about giving your Marqaan cousins above some advice of abandoning this separatist futile excursion of governance that risks to collapse if policies are not re-thought? I have! See the many threads I have made about Unity, Pan-Somalism, taking a stand against secession and recongnition of Somaliland, have supported the talks between SL and Somalia from the beginnging and cheered that hopefollu it will lead to Unity inshallah. My records on Somali unity and sessionism speaks for itself. Just like I take a stand against clan federalism I have opposed Somaliland sesseion. When will you take a stand for the unity of Galakcyo, Mudug and all these regions clan federalism is carving up?

  8. that's a bakhaar along 'wadada Calafka'. Meeshaad ka qarabatid, you remember.
  9. Inaar, what happened. I am smoking shisha along the Bay of Persia. And I am bored to death inaar.
  10. Puntland needs to have a proper debate what kind of a region it is. I have earlier suggested to use the borders of the Somalias provinces, Nugaal and Bari. And abonden this sub-clan politics that have brought Puntland all the way to Kismayo. Its a futile excersion of governance and risks to collapse, if policies are not redefined.
  11. As the resident expert of Pirate politics or the only known 'Puntlantologist', my gues would be pirates as one the stakeholders of the Garowe princibles or gang (consisting of Sheick Shariif, Abdiwali, ASWJ, Galdmudug) are hiding something here. As all the other stakeholders have been replaced, they hope to make use of the ignorence of other by trying to reopen negoitiaten on the constitution to pass the remaining 10 procent of pirate clausules. A dangerous game if you think that they might risk that the current federal clausules will be open for debate as well. Hence why Pirates are so cautious to share any information regarding the changed articles. They have only shared the Puntland favoured articles that have been changed, not the other articles that centrist have given in on the pirates. And my guess would be that those articles outnumber the articles Puntland has mentioned. Waa tuug habeen madoow wax xaday, oo maalin cad usoo laabtay for a second round and still hoping people would not notice the stolen goods.
  12. Oodweyne;945321 wrote: It seems ever time Oodweyne mentions this jubbaland thingy folks are liable to see red mist in here, one wonders why that is the case? :D War cid walba wee ku heysyaan, from Oba,Maaddeey, to MMA, Somalilanders, Djiboutians, Reer Xamar. One needs to understand that there is a consensus among Somalis, thay Somalia will not be criplled anymore by the ambitions of ANY subclans. The pirates know this, but I feel for the Somali Kenyans who are new to the game.
  13. Baashi, It was Puntland who made these accutions of changes to the constitution. Shouldnt Puntland clearfy when this happened in the process? You know in order to for the new goverment to correct things? Mise waa poker oo waxba fashilmiyaa markaas?
  14. Baashi, Why assume the worst? The goverment of Somalia serves the people and is not out there to create division and supression. Those days are overand there are other forms of governance and measures the goverment can take. President has shown he is not in to this kind of politicking. He has enough policy space without getting in to dirty politics, for example: -I think the goverment will appoint an regional administration for Lower and Middle Jubba. Just like they have done for Gedo and all other Somali regions. -The goverment has established a joint Commitee with Kenya to coordinate common issues. -Set up local law enforcement(police) to guard the security within the cities. -Facilitate joint cooperation between the regional admins of Gedo, middle and lower jubba and Bay. -Invest and reconstruct the Airport and Port of Kismayo and appoint local experts who are experienced in running ports. -Facilitate a Somalia wide consultation of the regional admins, ahead of installing the House of Elders. -Reinsure the diversiry and inclusiveness of all its actions and appointsment in the most divers regions of Somalia.
  15. The President and the Somali people do not oppose the creation of regional admins, however its the underlying agenda to paralyze Somalia and its governancethat is unacceptable for Somalis and the Somali goverment.
  16. Xaaji, only Jacaylbaro looks like a Sudanese. Inta kale ee ilma binu Hashim shaqo kuma laha Dinga's.
  17. Kii faanka badnaa ee Jacaylbaro baryahan ma is aragteen?
  18. Inaar Alpha, see tahay. Its jeudi soir. Fadhigu wa xagee?
  19. Ilyria, you start a post on Puntland elections and you don't even know the Puntland electoral law and being a copy of the SL one except for the the parts that Faroole changed in order to steal the election. When one mentions those facts, you turn and turn and cry that one doesn't check the facts and its difficult to debate. Ileyn meesha dood u maad iman, xayesiiskii reerka lagu yaqanay ayaa wadaa.
  20. Its not a safe region dee. Even Faroole doesn't dare to go to Galkacyo. But many seem to rather ignore the facts and reality in the region and dream about ruling Somalia from the big tent. P.S. In so many diffrent threads we discussed the violence in diffrent parts of Somaliland, Mogadishu and even pictures of dead ppl were posted. I don't see no reason why one can't discuss the reality on the ground, even its not to the liking of big tent leaders like Che and Nuune.
  21. Goverment appointed 3 members and 2 members by Legislative and opposition parties appointed 2 members. The election process is not a process without flaws but one of the most crucial issues is that of the arbiter(the Electoral Committee). Without an independent arbiter, the opposition will always cry fault and they already have done so. See the letter you posted. Even after elections, they will say the process was not democratic, irrelevent if they have won or not.
