  2. Dont tell Xaaji Xunjuf that you are actually suggesting that Oromo and Somali might be related.

As it being closer to Oromo, the Somali and Oromo branch out from the same family of languages. When the Oromo, Anfar and Somali became distinct languages, Af-Garre and by extension Maay became the basis of the Somali language in which maaxa tiri is derived from. Garre as the only people speaking this most authentic Somali are oldest tribe. True that. Af maay is much closer to the original authentic Somali then the current dialects spoken. Ofcourse, most Somali's wont acknowledge this fact and will distort history for own benefits as usual.
  4. Arrêtez de chanter pour le dictateur. Son temps est écoulé. C'est une question de temps jusqu'à ce que les fils et filles fiers od Djbouti se dresser contre la dictature.

  7. Xaaji, You and I are considered une minorité visible in Djibouti, but its up to the ethnic majorité to decide the future course of the country.

  11. Diffrent SSC website write that diffrent key players(G6) have a mutual understanding with Siilaanyo and they are actually working for him.
  12. Dont forget it were the Koonfurions declared unilateraly and formed a Goverment on February 1991, headed by Ali Mahdi

  15. Being a bit more diplomatic wouldt hurt Somali's in general. And in this case, it could even work.

The whole argument of SSC refusing to join Somaliland because of Somalinimo becomes unvalid.
  17. Aliayah, What would you think if Siilaanyo went all the way to Muqdishu as President of Somaliland and sits down with Sheick Shariif?

Gabbal;750440 wrote: Following the devastating world wars, the western European powers theorized confederation and possibility of economic, social, and political unity would forever make the Europeans very much dependent on each other and would become a bulwark against any other armed conflict in Western Europe. Such socio-politico institutions were the vehicles used to lead to the European Commission, the European Council, the European Parliament, and this modern day unifying European Union. Ironically enough the author expects such institutions that led the diverse Europeans to unify would have the opposite effect on the homogenous Somali ethnic group. Still, he should be applauded for engaging constructive interaction rather than unsuccessful isolation and unilateralism. Why would such a policy have the opposite effect on Somali's?

  20. Indeed thank god it's Djabuuti getting the cheap elektricity and not Somaliland. Otherwise we would have to defend this from Abtigiis and his followers.
  21. According to the article there are 3 groups. One group of the SSCalready joined Somaliland, group led by military leader Kayse, Khusuusu chairman and SSC treasurer Osman. And then there are the Garoowe Garaad's of Faroole. Ofcourse they are politicly as relevent as our own Suldaan of Dhirta Waqooyi is.
  22. Interesting article. Basicly it says that Ismail Omar Gheele and Sheick Shariif are mediating between Somaliland and a faction of the SSC led by Garaad Jama and Xaglatoosiye. And that G6 group led by Ali khaliif Galeyr prebared a cabinet to be confirmed on the Khaatuma conference and they will lead the negoitation with Somaliland. Who will get to Hargeysa first?
