  1. I am still considering to become a member of Hiilqaran. Will decide in march. But still share their main vision, noble cause and ideals. This needs to be translated in a solid, achievable, attainable, constructive and sustainable program. And this is where my main concern is. Opposing federalism and focussing on centralized State, in period when there is need for strong local and regional concensus is going against the current trend and need.

  6. MMA, calankan waxa afduubtay oo isku qariyaooo isku astura maryooleey, burcad badeed, argagixiso, warlords, clannist, killers, thieves, etc. Waxaanu leenahay noo daya calanka oo wax kale la idin ku garto so qaata. Laakinse alxamdullulah baryahaan saas ee yeelaan. Burcad, argagixiso, clannist have created their own flags. P.S. The int used country names Eritrea, Ethiopia, Italia and Somalia all ending with an a come from the Italian synthax. So not Somali comes from italian but the international and for somali's nationally used names come from the Italian synthax. Unless you come with proof, assume that pasta and Somali+a both are Italian. P.P.S. England, Somaliland, Swaziland come the Britisch synthax. Where Ardul Somal comes from the Arabic. Synthax.

Our eldest sister used to take us every other Friday , I and many other older brothers along with my sister's two young sons. She had and drove -- oh, ladies used to drive in '70s, Xamar was so liberal, thousands of years ahead other African towns -- a Talyaani car Xamar caan ka ahaa, whch was called Fantikuwataare , aka venti quattro. It was this model. Also it was the model used by Muqdisho taxis. I only vaguely remember each of us getting the towels and shorts and squeezing in that car, many of us boys. It lasted until the sister and her family moved to Sirte, Libya in mid '80s. Aah, the memories. First time I heard Sirte was back then. MMA, I used to go every friday to Liido beach as well. I remember that a cousin of mine who went swimming with some white school friends, was attacked by a shark. that must been in 1987.

  9. The Somali flag is an enthic flag, the five-pointed white Star of Unity in its center represents the Somali ethnic group found in Djibouti, the ****** region in Ethiopia, the North Eastern Province in Kenya, and the former British Somaliland and Italian Somaliland territories. The past decades the flag has been abducted, raped and abused by warlords and gangs from Southern Somalia. But we, the Somali people in Djibouti, ******, Somaliland, Somalia and North Eastern, want our flag back!

  11. Somalina, that is good news there. Maanshallah. Beautyfull city of Beledweyn freed from Al Shabaab. So what is the plan now for the Hiiraan region?
  12. Dr.Osman has a point there. Why employ djiboutians when this is a Somaliland project.

  14. Inshallah, if Siilanyo and Ali Khaliif Galeyr succees in their objective this Conference and its follow up will benefit the unity of Somali's. But I dont think it will look like you imagine it to be. Wax aanu fahmino maahino. Siyasadan waa mid adi iyo aniga naga weyn.
  15. Somalida Mareykan jooga caadi maha. Kuwaas ilaahay dalkii ha ka ilaaliyo.
  16. The Ministry of Interior Duur interview saying that goverment will not accept any outcomes against the interest of Somaliland, had 2 objectives. 1.) Raise concerns about outside interverence(Puntland ) on Conference. 2.) Warn other clans (like my clan) not to follow example and oranize political clan meetings. On numerous occasions since september 2011 Somaliland Ministers supported Khaatumo Conference and even met G15 and G6. There have many articles about it and I even made multiple threads about it. Siilaanyo even met the G15 in Las Anod months ago. But somehow you like to see enemies, where there are non. Waa iska caadi, its all part of the game.
  17. Abtigiis;770661 wrote: Unlike the delusional SNM who actually believe their Clan State has an international boundary, Puntland (I hope) realizes that the self-declared autonomous States in Somalia are transitory administrative constructs, whose boundaries are not cast on stones. Of course, Putntland today is led by an equally delusional, narcissist old man, but one only hopes the general populace will stop him from stifling the SSC dream. Puntland can live with an autonomous SSC, after all, they all are part of a bigger and nobler entity called Somalia. The big losers at Taleex are the SNM zealots who tried all tricks in every book to hoodwink the international community into believing that a fetid clan agenda deserves recognition and respect. No secessionist is today wearing a dry pant. All have wet themselves out of fear and trepidation. The stomach of mother Puntland is checkered and produces all types of men. In politics, it is the land of honorable men like Abdirisaq Xaaji Xussen; but also land of nepotistic clowns like Faroole. In SOL, it produces men like Xinnfanin, endowed with intellect (although not always deployed for noble causes); but it also imposes on us authentic quacks like General Duke. In a matching test, Xinn would go with Abdirisaq, Duke with Faroole. Abtigiis, most SSC politicians and leaders have for decades supported and acted as foot soliers for failed politics and policies of tolka in Muqdisho, Kismayo and Garowe. Because of tolnimo and solidarity with Beesha guud. rather then the direct interest of their folks and land. Now they have seen the light and found out that they have been following all this time, dont serve their interest and they came back to their land and people, to work on their own interest, serve their people and formulate their own politics rathern then following failed leaders who and led them to the doomed politics of Somalia(Kismayo, Muqdisho and Garowe). I am sure they have learned a great deal and wont be easly led again or tempted to follow those failed policies that dont serve their interest. On many occasions SSC leaders said, taladeena cidna uma daba fadhiisanino. Indicating a clear break from the past, that they will follow their own interest and will not just follow anymore. In the past majority of SSC politicians followed their fellow cousins or tol rather the interest of their people and their land. Somaliland is not build on the idea of anyone exclusivly leading, ruling or following but is build on the idea of a shared interest, shared identity and shared land. Most SSC polticians(like Ali Khaliif and AuN Garaad Abdiqani) were part of its foundation and many are still part of its institutions. And whatever the outcome of the Khaatsumo Conference is, I am sure that SSC leadership and Somaliland Goverment will come to an understanding and compromise for the common interest of our people. For that is the Somaliland way of doing things. Maybe you call compromise, c ooperation and peace, loosing. I would call it, a way forward for Somaliland. Somaliland leaders did it back in 1991( Burco) and in 1994 (Borama) after a decade of civil war. I am sure they can do it in 2012(taleex) and Somaliland and therefor all Somali's would still win whatever the outcome is, because it's a step forward. Khaatuma Guul!
  18. Expected you would say something like, Puntland ayaa isla leh 70 procent of the World luminent milky sea.
  19. Did Xiin support the occupation, departition and clannisation of Muqdisho through 4.5 clan formula?
