They have not defeated anything. Most of the SL consist of folks from SSC and also the Min of Defense is from Maakhir And the 2nd highest military leader, longest serive commander with the most experience is from SSC folks. He led this operation. XX and JB folks have not held a gun since 1991. They are really old men or softi boys drinking shaani in Hargeysa talking tough.

This latest agression by Somaliland against the people of Buuhoodle is not only unheard of but below any forms of decency. While all the Buhoodle elders where in Taleex, Somaliland sneeked in to Buuhoodle in the middle of night. Governance is not enforced by force and military power, but through dialogue, bottem up approach and concensus. And that is what the folks of SSC were working on in Taleex. Worst of all is the clan minded chearleaders here who present this as a victory for their clan. While they know all the military and police who work in these operations are all SSC folks, the men who led them was till recently Mayor of Buhoodle and they registerd last month more then 300 SSC fighters from Buhoodle in to the Somaliland army. So if anything, this aint a victorty for SNM but one for some disenfranchised folks from SSC who opposed the Khaatuma Conference and G6 leadership. And that disunity will not benefit the people nor Somaliland. War is not something to cheer for. The people in the land are fed up of all the warmongers and clannist who cant seem to think of nothing else then war among clans.
