  1. And this has been the case for the last 20years. In fact the whole reason behind the roadplan and the Garowe Conference is t establish a recongnized goverment, that has acces to funds and can cooperate without donors mandate. So, in fact we all want recongnition.
  2. There is a limit to what one can expect. And this is way to much. Good reasons not to get married.
  3. Moqdishu 2012. Somalina, i have plans to visit Moqdishu in July inshallah. Will buy myself a little piece of land at Lido beach before the prices become sky high. Will ya join me?

This is your lucky day huh Carafaat - Don't tell me you don't know what kamasutra is. Since this is Dr InaJaad's thread I will let him answer you. Blue, you seem knowledgeble. You explain what Kamasutara is, preferbly in Somali.
  5. NGONGE;776707 wrote: ^^ What unity and what ultra nationalists? Where exactly do you get such ideas from and why are you trying to muddy the already murky water with all these made concepts? Behave dee. I see it very cristal clear. Somaliland is a sovereign goverment and by far most of its citizens accept this fact. However politicly many want some kind of association with Somalia in whatever form eventhaught they accept Somaliland's as their sole goverment. And the political will of the people cant be ignored, weather or not "Khaatumo State" takes off or not.
  6. Che, this one is too originale to be made up by some geeljire's.
  7. Congrats to my neighbour who has become President or something with madaxtooyada.

The situation is tense and the entire Khaatumo project rests on the idea that they are opposed to SL. No Khaatumo president worth his salt could just turn around and tell Khadar & Co that he decided to work with SL. Wax fahan. The biggest objective of Khaatumite's is their opposition to the Indepedance of Somaliland. Wouldn't be strange for Somaliland to sit around a table with Somalia (UN SC meetings in Nairobi and NY, coming Londen conference, etc) while on the other playing hide and seek with those that seek dialogue, cooperation and unity with Somalia? I can see a deal being reached. This deal would need both sides to give in a bit, all for the sake of Unity(Somaliland unity and Somalia's unity). And it would be something along the lines of, Somaliland promosing to sit down and negoitiate with Somalia on its indepedance or Confederacy with Somalia if Khaatumite's politicly join Somaliland. In this way both sides have won and can sell it to the constituencies. Somaliland reaching real political unity and Khaatumite's guardians of Somalia's unity. This would give Siilanyo quite a political leverage against Somaliland ultra nationalist (XX's, JB's kind) and leverage in negoitiation with Somalia. At the moment he has little option's against the ultra nationalist kind.

NGONGE;776682 wrote: So, like I said in that other thread of mine, the chocies for Khaatumo are still the same: 1- All out war with SL 2- A miracle that will allow them to actually run and fund a functioning state 3- A deal with the Imam I can't see the first taking place becuase I don't think either side is really ready for an all out war (skirmshes and little raids, maybe). I also can't see the second one taking place without the cooperation of Khaatumo's three neighbours. I, however, can see a deal with the Imam where he uses Khaatumo to fortify his federal arguments. Now the xaasid part: Will the President and two VPs of Khaatumo stay in the agreement long enough? Ngonge, how about the option of a deal between Somaliland goverment and the Khaatuma leadership?

  12. The fight against FGM was started back in the end of the '70's by few brave women who were really pioneers and stood up against ignorence. Today being against FGM has become mainstraim and the campaign against FGM widely accepted. We owe them a lot.

I am insulted by the TFG demands and Puntland agrees to this nonsense we are insane. Gobollada Puntland maxa ka soo gali jiray dawladi hore ee siyad barre gaar ahan beeraha koonfuurta? NOTHING. Maxay inoo gabatay dawlada dhexe? hal laami, iyo deked aanan la dhamayn iyo hal airport in galkayo. No ways I reject the TFG claim on our oil and anything beyond a 5% fuel levy charge to the tfg is crazy Who paid the salaries of all those 3*** General uncles and other goverment employees in your family.
  17. Dotorre, I thought you were a sensible man not similar to the Duke's of this wolrd who think you can get away with some word spinning. We both agree that piracy is a criminal activity, and with all criminal activities you need to take some preventive measures. But when criminality occurs, you always take repressive actions. Thats why you all those security forces. So the question is why have some security forces if they dont take on the pirates and their Gará'dag piracy nest, arrest all of them? even you admit they are on one location? Unless Puntland and you both condone piracy as a legal activity?
  18. Piracy doesnt need more then one base to flourish. Remember it all started only with Eyl and now Gar'adag. You still have not answered the questioin. Why cant the security forces solve it on land. Cause others parts of Somalia dont have marine forces, still dont have piracy. You want to solve piracy wth more mashruuc. Like you solve criminality with subsidy.
  19. Dr. InaJaad, Kamasutra ma xalaal ba mise waa xaraan?
  20. Dottore, The construction of coastal roads to Eyl was started years ago and many projects have been developed since te Tsunami. For sure those coastal community projects seem to have only helped pirates and piracy only increased with better acces and coastal facilities. So again, how will you combat piracy rather then promote?
