  1. The SNM didnt count 30.000n but just a few hundred and they managed to paralyse the workings of the goverment for more then a decade in most northern regions. Now do you want a functioning goverment in eastern regions or the current status quo?
  2. The Hermet;778285 wrote: I understand only one thing...the signaturies of the clan elders of eastern Sool in 1991 that stated Somaliland has ended the union with Somalia....you cant flip flop its against common sense and legality...why sign and then change...we dont do Somali law...once signed its signed.. there is one Law universal in Somalia. The Clan Law, that law says everything is clan. Signatures in 1991 dont mean shit.
  3. KingofKings, dont think kids in Moqadishu need to feel unsafe around secessionist. Godane is a unionist.

  6. OMG, are you serieuz? There is more to Kamasutra then only sex and diffrent ways of Fooraris?
  7. Its only 1 President and 2 VP's. And they will rotate every 6 months. Not such a bad idea, will make rules, regulations, procdures more important. And tame the Somali obsession with big man to lead them.
  8. Che, there was a moment when Al Shabaab sparked curiousity among many Somali, intrigued and even at times aroused us for the cause. But those moments are over, I tell ya.

The Somaliland leaders should undersand that war is not the answer. Both communities -Somaliland and Khatumo need to live peace side by side and they must come up with peaceful sulotion. Khatumo wants peace, self determination and Somali unity for their regions not more or less. I think Khatumo people said loud and clear million times they want have a peace and respect relationship with thier neigthbors includling SL. I wonder why our brothers and sisters in Hargeisa and Burco could not undersand that the Outcome and Declaration of talex conference was the basic principle in human right that people have the right to freely choose their own. Agreed. They should talk. Cant understand this little narrow minded politicians who always do the same gigs and numbers for the crowds. If I had the opportunity, I would go to Taleex, to Garowe, to Moqdishu, to Asmara. Heck I would even go to Tel Aviv and Jeruzalem, if it was for the well being of my people and for the common good. Even just a simple photo opportunity would give people a diffrent perspective and make end to these old vieuws of self created political enemies and change it to good friends with slight diffrence in political idea's.
  10. Che, your Shabaabi lapdances aint exciting no more. So he must be talking to Taleexi.

You an face existential crisis, and you do not even know it. How sad, how pathetic. Someone who looks at the bigger picture. I salute you.

Belief me they will talk. Even Somaliland will talk with Somalia. If not now, they will after fights, war and the usual crying about suffering. Everyone talks, jews and palestinians, onlf and Ethiopians. And somali's will talk, mabye after some crying.
  13. So what. The Minister of Interior should go to Taleex and sit down with those folks rather then hold cheap speeches in Hargysa. Pathetic and hollow talk wont solve anything!
  14. Fiqikhayre;778129 wrote: xiinfaniin, you know that this is a self-inflicted predicament! What is needed is urgent resolution and action and that khaatumo cannot do at least not for the short time and for the long it's to late. But you're making a point. We're speaking however about change. Something dramatic is needed for that to happen or a shift to one side but as things stand it will be difficult to resolve the issue in Sool especially abused Laascaanood, mind you abused by its own people (of which we're a part of it if we speak in larger term). But the core issue lies with the residents of Laascaanood themselves, Galayr alone will not solve this issue. Fiiqi, you a point there. But Xiin and Abtigiis are not interested in real solutions they are 'intellectuals' and look at the picture, anything that gets Somaliland on its knees, even a burning Lascanood is a step forward. Read Abtigiis comments.
  15. Tolnimo has so far done little good for SSC folks, besides getting them killed in Garowe prison. Garowe is very close to Taleex and Lascanood, wouldnt be hard to rally couple of thousands armed men, if one cared ate least. Even Abtigiis sheds some cheap tears to settle scores.
  16. Lascanood, taleex, buuhoodle, yagoor, rascaseyr, golgodob, maakhir, galgala, etc folks were fed up with Puntland. the daily assasinations, attacks by security forces and bad governance. If Puntland cared they would have sold things long time ago. No need for fake tears and pretend like Puntland cares now. They never cared before.
  17. Just watched the mass rallies and demo's held across Somaliland on its nationhood. Many SL politicians with hollow and empty speeches opposing Khaatumo and declaring SL nationhood sacred. I wonder if any of them has actually read the conference outcomes, declarations, its decsision making structure's, mandate on diffrent topics, etc. Most what I seen sounded quite reasonable. And I am sure if they study Khaatumo, they could come to an agreement on many diffrent issue's. And some issue's, like military presence, they would not agree upon. But on the most important issue for the people water, education, health, enviroment and how aid agencies can work effectively in the region, they can find easily common ground. But knowing the both waqooyi communities, their ignorance, stubbordness, and myi culture. I am sure they first call for war, make a lot of hanjaabad, then fight and when there are some casualties they sing and call for PEACE. Coming back to the beginning of the cycle with no sustainable solutions. I wonder, can we do it for once diffrently and talk before one fights? Think before one talks? Read before one declare?
  18. Puntland wont do anything, their hoping for SSC folks to fight eachother so they can cash on the win.
  19. What does that mean, Doqosh? How come you cheering for some Italian fa.q.ash?
  20. Dr.Osman wants us to belief that northern part of Galkacyo city is more peacefull then southern part. Look how he is emphasizing its Galmadug. Never does that or comments when Sulaans, Politcians, Sheicks get assasinated in northern part.
  21. How about the ones joining Puntland? Or supporting the Puntland cause like the neW Khaatumo leadership? They dont seem to be popular either.
  22. These italians in Somalia where the first and original Fa.q.ash.
  23. He doesnt hail from Somaliland. He hails from Somalia, he was born there, his fam is from there, he has property there. Only most of his clan are from Somaliland. Anyways, he did a good job visiting all the front lines and boosting moral and support.
  24. What is a manly man? Opposite of the metro sexual? Blue, we need to this discuss further in anew thread. Open a tread and explain what you mean with a manly man? Cause some might think you are talking about hairy men or about something else. Explain yourself lady.
