Why I dont like that city is that for example one section feels more connection with people from Buuhoodle then their own city folks. well done. Indeed, in order to have banks you first need a central bank that keeps an eye on people's money and these banks and that is based on rules/laws. Some folks really thaught you can issue licenses to foreign banks before having a central bank law and department to monitor and control banks.

Abtigiis, Even though I agree with the essence of your post here. However our judgement of the present times, cant be used or brought in equation to generalize or judge history. During the '90's Tuur(AUN) and Egaal(AUN) Somaliland's declaration of Indepedance was deliberately used by the leaders to Demobilize and to Disarm a complete nation and this with great succes. The secession or seeking recongnition was not on the political agenda and only emerged during the end of Riyaale's term(from 2006 on), when the goverment institutions were standing firm and Somaliland democratized after 3 elections were held. And therefor it's logic that the doormen as you so delinquently describe, has received greater say and power in the running of the nations affairs and thus he calls and expects(recongnition) what has been promised to him for years in return for this disarmament. Therefor the democraticly chosen Riyaale and Siilanyo cant do much else except that they accept the assignment given to them by the people. Siilanyo has always said, its what the people want. Unless Siilanyo goes back to the people that have elected him and presents them with a much better package deal. And for that we definetly need a agreement with a reliable non transitional partner in Somalia.
