  1. The Hermet, you cant deny that SSC always wanted Somali Unity. And that Somaliland and TFG wil talk and one of the options is Unity. If there was only one outcome possible then it would be talks but an ultimatum. So SSC is closer to its goals sxb.
  2. Khatumo is the bringe, the linking pin between the TFG and Somaliland. i hope Ali Khaliif succeeds
  3. Showing the entire world that we are divided is not a good thing. And this is hot helping the negoitiaten and talks with Somalia either.
  4. Khatuma's cant be decided by one man. But its the Khaatumo(momentum) of the people
  5. they are not MP's(member of Parliament) but members of the City Council of Gebiley.
  6. Xaaji, dont turn my words. SL itzelf is misguided and they will correct that. If only you could see that, but that is what you get what you look things only from one side.
  7. Fiqikhayre;801445 wrote: waryaa Nuune there's a problem how would you solve it? There is a shortage of Somali Shilling and what usually happens is big businessmen start hoarding. So in order for them to release their Somali Shilling there is a need for printing of more Somali Shilling in order for them to release their hoarded money into the flow/system of the market in order to stabilise it and prevent things going up and prizes exploding. It's market confidence and reassurance and printing more currency can actually help stabilise the Shilling by showing that there is enough money out there. Fiqi, I thought Puntland is introducing a new currency but printing the same Somali Shilling whil cause inflation, prices will go up and the shilling and people of Somalia will loose value. This is the same thing Cade Muuse did and it can be considered a theft.
  8. These are Saado Cali's words and I have to I absolutely agree with her and understand where she is coming from. More then often political idea's are determined by one's perception. In Politics there is no right or wrong there are only people's perceptions and vieuws. The same object or issue can look(or be perceived) totally diffrent depending on the angle or perception when looks at it. SSC folks and it's leaders were part of Somaliland's reconciliation and founding in 1991 and 1993, they were part and founders of Puntland's birth in 1998 and they were part of TNG/TFG of Somalia in 2000. Their elders always took part in any reconciliation or peace initiative between any Somali's. Not because they had personal intentions or financial motives as many joke around here, but because they relate more then anyone else to all Somali's, Somalinimo and peace between our people. They know what War means, but above all they know the value of Peace. They know and understand both perceptions and are connected to both side's as a bridge is connected to both shore's. This thread is not meant as cheap compliments. But it's to remember SSC folks that their mission and vision still remains the same as it was back in 1991(Burco), 1993(Borama), 1998(Garowe), 2000(Artah) and Taleex(2011) to unite, reconciliate and plant the peace our people so desperately need. And soon inshallah, finannly one will begin to see the fruits of those seeds you have planted in the Somali people. Stay focussed, dont loose that brilliant vision of Unity, for the end goal is near. And one will finally construct and connect bridges between our people. This is why many of us have supported Khatumo from the beginning. Because we hope it leads to the same fruits of Peace and Unity between SSC folk and all Somali's, as you SSC have planted in Burco, Borama between Somaliland folks and in Garowe between Puntlanders. And inshallah "Khaatumo will be the bridge between North and South Somalia".
  9. http://www.hadhwanaag.com/detail.aspx?id=60491 Very smart and wise man and wise words indeed. wallahi. Ilaahay kheyr ha siiyo. The system, goverment and country as it was created in 1960 has failed. This has affected all Somali's and all of Somalia. Indeed we need to learn from the past and try to understand what went wrong. And we should not rush in to a hasty talks or descisions for it could have hugh impact later on. First we should learn from history and we try to prevent new fatal mistakes and failures as this could possibly affects all Somali's. This goes for folks wanting recongnition as well those of us who direly want to see Unity, should not haste in to final conlusions. Both the TFG and Somaliland should listen to this wise men very carefully and follow his advice. I also agree with him this concerns all Somali's and one should involve and broaden the discussion, so ensure the Somali people are fully aware and involved in any outcome. I hope someone can pass this audio and message to our Presidents themselves.

  14. Abwaan, waxani waa iska ruwaayad. Dadka dalka jooga care only about peace and an admin that delivers services. Administration are just tools to organize security, services and function as a platform for consultation of the people and not the end goal. Admins and structures can evolove, changenames, merge, cooperate, do more tasks or less tasks depending on what is agreed with local municipilties and central goverment. But what you can do best local you do local, what you can do regional you do regional and all else central. The same goes for TFG and Somaliland. There are many things the admin cant do at the moment and a higher centralized institution with enough capacity could do. People should look at it practical and do not ideology. But I think once TFG and Somaliland establi sh a central authority, it will show all Somali's and motivate all those local and regional admins to cooperate and look at it from a practical point of vieuw. Tuasbaxa markaas ayaa lasoo xiriyaa.
  15. Saado Cali:"SSC is the bridge between Norrth and South Somalia". Good interview. Quite positive.
  16. There is one also in Sweden, Norway and Finland. I am glad there is not one here in Holland.
  17. Maanshallah Muqdisho wee hanaqaaday. Wait till the first song on Moqdishu are made by artist like Seynab, you will see that it will electrify and enthousiast the masses for return, rebuild, reconstruct and re-start a new Live in Muqdisho. I have the song in my head, unfortuantly i cant write songs. But it would go some like... Maanta maanta maanta Muqdisho meel dhanta Maanta maanta maanta Muqdisho meel dhaafta ....
  18. Chimera, dont give us false hope. On a serieuz note do you think it also might have something to do with shortage of Vitamine D?
  19. Oromo's are by far our closest and dearest brothers. Afar is another brother. The similarities we share is as if we are 2 brothers and all other humans are distent cousins of us.
  20. Some might think that ports, roads, cities, land, natural resources and goverment offices in Somalia(incl Somaliland) might belong to certain clans or certain people. But this is a complete misconception. Somalia and its resources, land and infrastructure belongs to all Somali's. Traditionally only livestock and houses belong to individuals. All others belongs to all of us, we all have worked for it together and thus should it's riches be shared. Bosasso, Berbera or Muqdisho port and cities belong to all Somali's and not only to certain clans. I dont know who invented this and why everyone else accepted this. But dont think I will accept it and leave my share to some who want to claim it. I suggest everyone should go and claim what is rightfully his or her.
  21. Alpha, you are talking about a new economic elitist class on top of already existing dominating clan elite. The sad thing is that some are abusing our clan s name to dominate Berbera. While majority of the population is politicly and economicly and clan wise marginalised and they might even form a majority together. Very worrying.
  22. Odayga Bob, wali jaceyl kamuu weynaan. Oday aderkay ayaa saas camal. Marku wadanki aaday, 3 gabdhood oo yar yar ayuu guursaday. I didnt know to call those girls who were even younger then me, eedo, wallaal, inabti? I even avoided looking at them, afraid of adeero becoming jalous.
  23. I have travelled quite extensively through the Somali penisula for a period of 2 years. Visiting Ethiopia, Somaliland, Somalia and Kenya. And spend some time in cities like Hargeysa, Borama, Berbera, Jigjiga, Burco, Erigavo, Bosasso and Garowe. What I have noticed in all of these cities and regions is that they are much more divers(clan wise) then one might think. In fact I dare to state that the clans or sub-clans that consider a particular region of city as 'theirs' are most of the time a minority and most of the inhabitants are not considered as 'deegaan'. Business and Politics are mostly dominted by those few claiming a region/city, but a silent majority excist everywhere that dont openly claim their city and even accepted that they are a "minority" while they might be divers but certainly form a majority, a silent majority. I wonder if others have observed this as well? How come that a majority still keeps silent and even regard themselves as minority? And what can we to change this? It's a form of injustice to be denied the same rights as others. For example, cheap or land for free, bsusiness contracts, educational opportunities of scholarships, goverment and ngo jobs and maybe even have less right before a court or other institutions. Shouldnt everyone have the same rights everywhere? would state that
