For a while I have been thinking about a noble cause I can dedidate my online characters life to. A cause that everyone will remember Carafaat for, a cause that will run and impact all places from Borama to Bosasso, from Banadir to Baardhere. Something which really annoyed me during my visits to Somaliland, Puntland and Somalia were the guns that are visible in public. It's shamefull that guards of visitors carry more often guns then water bottles. For sure people in Somalia still have a greater chance to die of bad or shortage of water then from gunfire, you risk a greater chance of kidney failure then of an Al Shabaab suicice bomb. So therefor I am starting a campaign to ask our leaders to remove all guns from the public. Guns are no toys and thus should not be played with nor be carried around with in public. I will dedicate my SOL characters life to a gun free Somali society.

Strange story. Somaliland passport was used to Djibouti for years. Then is was stopped by Omer Guelleh with approval from Somalilands goverment, now it is starting again.
