  1. Khatumo is in. Its going great. I can feel a deal. How about you Liibaan?
  2. From my first memories as a child around 1986 till today in the year 2012 I have witnessed Somalis fleeing their homes due to war. I pray and dream of the day that no Somali has to flee his house or figth for it. Inshallah that day is close, when we will resolve all our issues around a table with pen and paper rather then with gun and bullets. Warancade is wrong! If he was reacting on somebody calling for war against Somaliland, one could understand if he would call for selfdefense. But as far as I know, nobody in his right mind has called for a war against Somaliland. Atleast not in the recent years. Somalia´s issue with Somaliland is a political and legal issue. And thank Allah, that our current leaders understand that and have started talking this week. Warancade, Edna Aden, Faisal Ali Waraabe, Ahmed Yusuf Yaasin, etc are some of the many relics, who have dominated Somaliland politics since 90´s. Their time in active politics is up. Its time for a younger generation!
  3. I apologize for using that term. The Dutch use the term `halfbloed´ and when you translated it means half caste. I should have known that the racial terms the Dutch find acceptable is seen as degoratory in the rest of the world.
  4. I think ladyboys are quite common in India and maybe Pakistan as well. Let us wait for Rudys stories.
  5. Today I was invited at this International Conference of African Finance and Investment, , which I really looked forward to. Not because of the topic but as I only meet and see cadaan during work, it would have meant a great chance to see fellow brothers and sisters. The lobby and Conference hall were full with black faces. 250 Bankers, Investors and other Business people from Africa were flown in. I smiled and greeted most people around me, made small talk, gave my business cards to some Angolans, Congolese, Nigerians, Guinee Bissauns, etc. During the conference, I looked around to see if there were any tol or sokeeye around. I knew there wouldnt be any Somali around, I was informed by a young Somai guy who was working there as a security guard. So I went through the participants list to see how many Cushitic, Bantu or other East African brothers came came from Djibouti, Ethiopia, Eritrea, Kenya, Sudan, etc. To my dissapointment there were none on the list. There were some white guys business people who live in Kenya. But not even a Kikuyu, or a Nilotic, not even an Amhara or Tigrey neighbour of us was present. How could this happen. Is there no justice, no regional balance, no 4.5 in Africa. This made me furious! And ruined my mood for the rest of the morning. I saw Zulu´s, Hausa´s, Hutu´s, Shona´s. But no cushitics! Just before lunch I went to the young Somali security guard and asked him, `kuwa no eeg so raadi´. After 20 minutes he came back and said, mid no eeg ayaa jooga. And pointed me another table on the other side of the lobby. I had to see atleast one African close to us. So i appologized to the other people at the lunch table, grabbed my plate and walked to the guy he pointed at. I went to the guy and introduced myself. He smiled and gave a warm traditional greeting and offered me a chair next to him. I asked him were he was from, which tribe, etc. He spoke in french, and told me he was from Senegal, is a veterinarian who founded a milk factory in Senegal and belongs to the Fulani, a Hamitic tribe which the Cushitic and Nilotic are also part of . I told him we were cousins as I am from the Somali tribe belonging to the Cushitic family. The rest of the lunch we talked, laughed and discussed Senegalese and Hamitic tribes in Western Africa. ´Our´ table was the most fun and social. I introduced to several contacts and I promised I would visit tolka some day in Senegal. The other Africans looked suprised and a bit jealous how brotherly we were talking. It made my day. :)
  6. Mahad Yare, dont change your avatar. We doubt if Sayid is even from Qardho. Have you ever met a bokor named Sayid?
  7. After sport hour in the 6th grade we used to shower in this open shower with no seperations between the showers, so one could see eachother full. There was this kid other kids used to make fun off. It started in the shower when other kids discovered the guy had no testicals. Later on he would defend himself by saying that he had them, but they grew inwards. I remembered this story because of Olympic gold medal winner Caster Semenya. When they did a gender test, it became clear she was a women who had 'testicals' growing inwards and this was was her giving her the extra male power or testosteron boost. I wonder then, what gender the little has become by now. Rudy, i am looking forward to your "Asian" experiences on this field.

Ayoub, R-bladding sounds great but i am scared inaan dhinacdhinac udhaco..baaskiil is better for me yes, I made it. was 1 hour late, but luckely most participants were stuck as well. One day participation costed like 1500 Euro, luckily I didnt have to pay it because of my friends on high places. did you just ask me how much my salary is? Juxa, you should know that is the most rudest question in Holland.
  9. Sheick Ayoub, the man called for the military training and preberation of the youth! He is a shamefull trader in fear!
  10. Rudy, you should give the night a special name, 'Kowda Luulyo' sounds like a name of a big lady from Shangaani. You should name it 'Habeenka Xidigaha' or 'Night of the Stars'.
  11. Now I get it. Some geeljires always take camel and goat as examples. I wonder if they rather take example from Xaawo iyo Aden or do it the camel way.
  12. Just saw a Somali girl with a mini skirt and high heels, she has tiny legs but the biggest 'october' I have seen this year. I smile at her, she smiles back. Maybe she is not Somali after all, they mostly don't smile back like that.
  13. There are no trains, because of some little lightning(hilaac). I am on my way to a prestigieus Conference on African Finance and Investment, which I looked forward to. Now I am late, It sucks. At days like this I begin to detest public transport. Its time to get my driver lisence, me thinks.
  14. The talkls have started, 52 years after the Somali State was founded that collapsed in 1991. It will be re-established again, inshallah. And this time mistakes from the past will be corrected. No more clan states, no more secession, no more pirates, no mre terrorist, no more warlords, no more isbaaro's, no more 4.5. A normal Somali State will be founded again. Inshallah.
  15. This thread is dedicated to Muuse Biixi, Chairmen of Kulmiye and the next President of Somaliland inshallah.
