  1. Inadeero, I still have a hangover from the warm welcome reception you have organised on my behalf. I am quite dissapointed that some of the habro's, you invited, didnt show up. Folks like Jacelbaro, should have atleast called to say they wouldnt attend. But It was a wonderfull event, you even invited reer Xamar's, reer Wamo's and some O.qadens. I liked the Somaliweyn spirit and vibe of the reception.
  2. Mooge, isn't to soon to delcare defeat and blame the rules of the games that got your Adeero Abdullahi Yusuf, Omer Abdirashiid Sharmarke and Abdiwali in those positions.
  3. Somalia's political structure is based on the 4.5 clan system. Eventhough I disagree, the logic many belief and the system is based on is one of 'Somalia's conflict is clan based and thus its solution should be clan based'. The MP's have been selected based on clan and they will elect a Chair, President, PM and Minister based on clan. Sheick Shariif was elected President 4 years ago, because Somali's were divided in they support for the TFG and the ICU. And one believed that someone coming from the ICU belonging to the **** clan could unite Somalis in they support for the goverment. Now following this same logic, the question is: 1. What are the biggest challensges Somalia faces today? 2.Which regions are not controlled by the goverment yet? 2. And from which clan should the President and his PM come from, that can solve things based on the current challenges in Somalia?
  4. Congratulations to MP Saado Cali. I hear she will be joined by Abdi Holland and Alteso in the Parliament.
  5. Wakhtigii kacaanka fanka aad ayee u hor martay. And this is the result. One has to admit that.

Typical Puntland propaganda to discredit the man with Siadist lies from 30 years ago. 1. Ali Khaliif Galeyr was a Minister when he defected the Siad regime and thus the highest ranking official opposing The regime. This was in 1982! 2. He was Project Director of Mareerar Sugar factory till the factory was build and operational in 1980. Soon After he was promoted as a Minister of Industries, because of the succes of Mareeray project. 3. The plan was in operation since 1979, 3 years before he left the regime. The plant was funded by Kuwaiti's, Arab Dev Bank, other donors, who all approved the final financial reports of the project in 1980! 4. Which millionare would seek a job as a teacher to earn a living abroad.
  7. http://www.hiiraan.com/news/2012/Aug/wararka_maanta17-18995.htm If only Shariif, Sakiin and Abdiwali would nominate educated and honoust individuals, rather then warlords and failed politicians like Abshir Farah, Qanyare, Xaabsade, Yalaxoow then I am sure the new Parliament would be "4.5" proof.
  8. The last one is tailer made for SOL'er and thus optional to consider.
  9. 1. The man supports Federalism. 2. The whole constitutional proces was chaoticly organised and created more confusion then clarity. 3. He fooled us by presenting and distracting us with a unitarian Constitution the majority of Somalis prefered, only to come with a Federalism version in Ad4is. 4. The majority of Somalis support a unitarian state rather then the clan stat4s prefered by Abdiwali and Co. 5. If we elect Abdiwali as President, you get a more influential Faroole.(See Garowe 1,2, and Galkacyo meetings where clan States have been institutionalised in the TFG and the transition). 6. Abdiwali is hughly supported by his clan. See the recent campaign from Duke, Moonlight, Mooge, Somalia and others. While candidates like Farmaajo, Samater have a divers party support.
  10. I don't see any reason why the Parlieament speaker has to be from Bay and Bakool region. If they use clan, Then let every clan get a turn. Same goes for President and PM, no reason to elect a Puntlander or Unuka everytime.
  11. Things have changed since Embaghati. In Embaghati AY selected Most of delegates and MP's. I even doubt if Sakiin has influence on **** block after they are sworn in as MP's. They are only with him because he has influence On who becomes an MP. After that its every man for him Or her self.
  12. 1. You need an absolute majority to get elected, which is of 275, you need 138 votes atleast. 2. Sakiin in your calculations has more (60) seats then Abdiwali(36). Why would Sakiin accept a second place from Abdiwali. 3. In your calculation there is no absolute winner. If there is no winner in firsr round, Farmmaajo's supporter will more likely support Sheick Shariif in the second round. Conclusion: From your own assupmtions Abdiwali comes out as the weakes candidate compared to Shariif, Sakiin, etc.
  13. You need 190 votes to get elected.Farmaajo's votes would be divided and what makes you think these votes would go to Abdiwali?
  14. General Duke's divide and rule tactic failed. He doesn't understand Khaatumo is bigger then merely securing a 'kursi. It's about the common interest of beesha, rather then the ambition of one man.

  16. Why does the Chair position always go to "Digir iyo Muufo" clan. I say let' elect a Somali "Hutu or Tutsi". Now that would be interesting. It would change the Somali fadhikudiri completely.

Aren't you fasting? Do you make stuff up or what? My position of XT is clear that he is done well during SSC, now he is not aligned with Khatumo so he isn't representing the interest of Khatumo. However, I don't think you care much XT but currently all you see is Ali Khalif is a threat to your cousin Gaas's dream of becoming president/PM.. Kursi is everything for some.
  18. I don't think they are asking. They are ready to fight for it. And don't expect Kenyans and Ethiopians to fight your wars against them.
  19. Mooge, why the anger? Every sub-clan has its issue's, Galeyr and Faroole Are cousins and I am sure they can workout their internal clan issue's. No need to involve others in the domestic family issues. Who is your favourite candidate for the Chair position?
  20. Faroole tried to steal Khatumo elders places in the Constitutional Assembly,. It failed, thanks to Galeyr.
