Can someone copy and past this article. It raises questions regarding the transparency of this oil deal. http://somalilandpress.com/somalilandgenel-clandestine-oil-deals-in-somaliland-must-be-publicized-40849

Somalia, I only posted articles from the federal constitution regarding this topic(security, marine resources/enviroment and foreign relations). The constitution clearly says that is the mandate of the Federal Goverment. Besides I dont think it would be effective if every State guarded its iwn coast and signed deals with foreign companies. Besides this company will only train and help set-up a national coast guard.

Al Shabaab is on the loosing side of the war. Eritrea is adjusting its policies to current realities.

Good move by the Eritrean Government. Somalia should establish diplomatic ties with Eritrea rather sooner then later.

The AMISOM soldiers I have met at Mogadishu Airport have learned Somali and have integrated with Somalis. Many want to stay in Somalia. If half of them stay, lets say 9.000 out of the 18.000 and they get married and start producing children at the same rate as Somalis(no family planning, 1 child every year) 9000x 1x 20 years= 180.000. They could become a new sub-clan of 180.000 strong.

New Political Party in Muqdisho excludes Somaliland from Somalia.
Carafaat replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
Xaaji, is this political party funded by Somaliland? -
It doesn't make sense to cut the ties. The constitition is an un-finished documents, which is still under revieuw by Parlementarian committee and so many issues are still open for discussion. Puntland is the mother and father of the current constitition and Federal governent, dont give up the child already. But be patient till it grows to become a strong, confident and fair lady.

Faroole: we will see who needs who+ Xammar cannot support Somaliland

Tallaabo;971916 wrote: Xaaji talks and relationships should not be only between Hargaysa and Mogadishu. Somalia is not like Ethiopia, Kenya, or the other countries of the world where one leader and one government represents everyone and everything. Somalia is a loose collection of feuding clans and so Somaliland should engage in serious discussions with Puntland about any matter that affects both our populations. Don't forget, its the Garowe clan we are neighbours with and not the HAGs. Of course Somaliland should also continue its diplomatic talkathon with the administration in Mogadishu but security and economic co-operation with Puntland is in our interest. +1 Makes sense. -
More foreign troops. And even foreign police. Whats wrong with Somali Police Officers?

Somalia: “Galmudug does not cooperate with Puntland to combat crimes in Galkayo”- Puntland’s Mudug Governor GAROWE, Somalia July 31, 2013 (Garowe Online)-The Governor of Puntland’s Mudug region Mohamed Yusuf Jama Tigey has blamed Galmudug authority for not cooperating with Puntland authorities in Galkayo to combat crimes on Wednesday, Garowe Online reports. Speaking on Puntland-based independent station Radio Garowe, Governor Tigey said Galkayo is a town connecting vast northern side to south Galkayo where Galmudug authority is based and the “criminal gangs” flee to Barahley neighborhood of southern Galkayo after carrying out assassinations in the northern side. “Galmudug seems too weak to keep those criminal gangs away from the northern side and they purport that they are existing authority but Puntland government will never cease its efforts to cleanse the town of crimes and targeted assassinations which almost take place in the north,” added Governor Tigey. Continuing, the governor said: “Our security operations has been successful in reducing crimes and during this month alone, important civilians including Human right activist and Local NGO official were killed in the north of Galkayo, such planned assassinations are cowardly acts and we will speed up our security operations”. Puntland government officials previously condemned Galmudug authority for providing safe havens to the armed gangs who commit crimes in the northern side which situates more than two-thirds of the city and Galkayo is regarded as a strategic city and as a gateway for trade. Is it possible to force a federal State (State of Galmudug in this case) to comply and cooperate on security?

Foreigners destabilising us, says godane Somalia's Alshabaab leader

I wonder what the ICU did to restore law and order in Xamar? And if there are lessons to be learned for the goverment from the ICU's best practices?

Thanks MMA, I remember this Ramadan song 'cuna cuna cuna, caba caba caba'. Any idea how it was called or who made it.

Congratulations Puntland. Dotorre, any ideas which direction Puntland should take in future? In terms of geographical frontiers, politics in Somalia, internal policies, in case Somalia adopts semi-decentralizes State under Federalist pretext?
