First thing first. Al shabaab is still alive and the goverment still has pacify and disarm the biggest part of Sonalia. The new President has to prioritize and security is his main prioririty. Till this has happened one should wait with matters concerning Federal and Somali inter clan issue's.

Faroole has angered the Qardho folks. He turned the Bari clan elders against his regime, closing down their offices. The Bari elders want to appoint a new leadership for Puntand from their constituency. Without Bari, there is no Puntland.

Guys, it's up to the goverment and parlement to draw the boundries of the regional States. Faroole has no say in this and there will be no clan based borders, no Wall or border seperating Galkacyo and Mudug. Faroole has no say in these matters. And his mandate is up in January. Looks like the people are standing up and dont see him as their leader anymore. The people have the right for sekf determination. They have the right to form their own democratic Bari Administration.

Haatu, where did I say that? I said Somaliland has elected bodies and a Union with Somalia will need to be confirmed by the democratic elected officials. Just like they changed the constitution in january to start the talks with Somalia. Indeed Bari wants to be governed by Bosasso and Muqdisho, no need for the Garowe administrative clan layer.

Generale, Somaliland is a democarcy. When its time the people will change their constitution or their leaders through the ballot box. Just like they have done in the past.

Bari has suffered under Faroole, while it generates all the income for the region. Ras Ceyr, Qandala, Makhir, Bosasso And Qardho need to form their own State. Its big enough, they don't need Garowe. Somaliland should open a liason office and open dialogue with the neighbours from Bari And assist in institution and democracy building.

Indeed the Presidents needs to be aware of what is going on. Bari has suffered so much under Faroole's rule. The debacles, assasinations and wars in Galgala, Bosasso, Ras Caseyr and now the chaos in Qardho. He needs to act immediatly, starting in Bari. The President should invite the elders and political representives of the 5 sub-clans living in Bari and ask them to form immediatly the Provincial Goverment and Administration of Bari. This is the only way to prevent more chaos and turmoil and establish justice and democracy once and for all.
