  8. How many SNM celebrations are there in a year? I could swear there was an SNM day in march as well.
  9. Somalia, you should celebrate. He is a Mudug man, probably a former neighbour from Galkacyo, the capital of the enlightened Somali elite.
  10. The constitution of the Somali Republic has never ceased and has never been folded to be thrown to dustbin. The will of the world represented by the policies and actions of the U.N. sees the Somali Republic as a nation-state whose sovereignty can not be bended by any force in the world Which constitution? The Federal constitution that was adopted few months ago by 4.5 clan members.

    Jareer

Leezu;880343 wrote: I dont claim the nationality of where I reside or the ethnicity or the language, history and land of those people which the Jareer people do to us. Even if I was deported to Somalia I wouldn't live at IDP's camp, I was in Mogadishu this summer and most that live poor is the Jareer, they dont even do anything all day, there was a neighborhood I stayed in for a week where there were lots of Jareers, the only thing they did was sit at home and cook food all day (no they didn't sell it, their kids didn't go to school or dugsi like the other ethnic Somali children)... It wasn't Ramadan. Even Somalis themselves call them Somali wasakh when I asked them why there were so many here. You lot are Westernized. You want to give your country away to strangers of the land. Look at Europe, they need new people because their population is aging, we do not need more, Somalis produce at a pace that will keep it growing for years on. I cant wait till we have one man one vote elections. And we see the through diversity and demographics of Somalia.
  15. Macallinka you have not responded on the 5 degmo's Jaale created in Gedo to establish permanent monopoly in Gedo over the other clans.
  16. Baashi, Carafaat is content on some of the developments in Somalia. The build up of foreign troops and their influence in Kismaayo worries me though. Second we could have organized our own Jubba peace Conference, no need for IGAD's involvement. Unless you lack confidence that tolka cant make peace without mediation from Amxaaro or Kikuyu's? I think they can if one leaves things to community leaders rather then Generals and militants Sheicks.
  17. Baashi;880326 wrote: The bottom line is D block gets the most prized land in the republic -- Jubba (or Ganaane as is know in the region) river in its entirety except east bank of Bakool area. In the Somali clan balance that's huge in every aspect. The task is to finalize the deal before cowboys (Gedo and OG) ruin the whole thing Lets wait and see. Sxb according to Zack and Gabbal they already own Gedo and most of Jubba. Kismayo and its port are the real issue's. Baashi so dhawee tolka this time and dont call in support of Al Shabaab to kick out tolka like last time.
  18. Cause Aabo Siyaad made 5 tuulo's in to districts in Gedo above the two existing districts that were largely inhabited by Other folks.
  19. Cajiib since when has Gedo/Cabudwaaq community become Jubba community? waa cadalad xumada iyo dafirada xaqa waxa Somali meesha keentay.
  20. Gabbal, any idea how the 65 Parliament seats are distributed among the diffrent communities?
  21. Gabbal, in another thread you posted 4 or 5 names of Generals and Colonels leading the clan militias that are on their way to Kismayo to participate in the Jubba conference. Military commanders leading militias and at the same time representing communities in a political conference. Clearly their mandate is not based on local community support but on muscles.
  22. Gabbal, I only posted a question. But maybe you perceived it as negativity. The question is quite legitimate. You posted that a military commander and a Sheick from Cabudwaaq will lead the Gedo delegation to the Jubbaland Conference which is supposed to be a Political Conference. If I am not mistaken the local Gedo community opposed the last military ruler of Gedo (Barre Hiraale). Wouldnt it be better if the Gedo community is represented by their own community leaders rather then a Sheick from Cabudwaaq and military generals and colonels like Farotaag. I am sure Gedo has community leaders like any other Somali community.

  24. Sheicks and Generals from Cabudwaaq? Gabbal, where are the local Gedo community leaders or politicians??
  25. Jacpher, nobody said that. But one doesnt establish governance through the gun. That is a lesson we should have learned from that particular period. And especially this particular community. I shall await Gabbal's response. As he clearly supports this policy based on creating leverage through militaty power.
