  1. Zarqa, my god, when i read this i fell of my chair(laughing offcourse). C-L-A-A-S-S-I-C!! oh god, my tummy is killing........must.........stop.......laughing!!
  2. Zarqa: The Commonwealth games have come and gone. Waste of tax payer’s money. The Victoria premier, Steve Bracks, refuses to inform Melbournians amount spent on the games. yes, apparently the figure they were hoping for was not reached. preharps they should've not spent so much.waste of tax-payers money.Though i still can not get over the fact they did not sing "god save the queen". what a snub at the queens face!!. Oh well singing happy birthday was not a good substitute either(still a form of sucking up).
  3. Kafaxiyye: i am surprised the sisters were not offended or outraged at the drawing by the author. I was bothered by this drawing because it seemed like it was not intended to show the severity of the problem or to stop its recurrency but to freely display, mostly in search of recognition, these pictures to people it does not concern. that is why i ask what good this pictures will do in American offices, schools, and work places except embarrass us and our sisters, like we haven't had enough or suffered even more. i think my pasionate outcry was effective, considering Zafirs suggestion. yes Zafir, how very thoughful.
  4. ibby, don't ever be discouraged when it comes to doing soemthing for islam. it does seem intimidating at first, but if the sincerety is there, then you know that regardless of anyone replying then you still acheived something beside allah.
  5. i can't believe i missed this topic. what is even more unbelievable is the stances women are taking on this. this is by far the most atrocoius thing ever!! disgusting, its violation of womens right!! tell me what bloody notion will he install with such picture?, that its ugly?, that's bad? what fiflth. Guys, you know what you are the only ones with a sense of decency, WOMEN, never repeat the likeof. and don't you start with the "freedom of speech" bullshit. if somalia does get reformed i hope that such act gets reformed along with it!! but i sure pray that "dictatorship" continues if women's understanding of freedom of speech has become like this today. Somali people are prized for their endurance, their pride, their identity(you don't see much countries that are 99% muslim with the same culture and way of life), this pathetic sole has just diminished everything that our ancestors have worked for, and i should stress this point "died for". What stain has he marked on our reputation. yeah bloody hell FMG is horrible, do we really need to "see" how horrible. Does this creature have no females in his family. daughter.aunty. he has to has a mother most definitely, where the hell will he find inspiration!!........ do we not wear HiJABS, so that we may not be annoyed, now what the hell will run through the minds of a non-muslim when the next hijabified chic replies that she is from somalia..............something along the lines of " i know why she wears this long clothes"......*sends reply with tummy churning* phreharps i am going to PUCK!!
  6. great reminder, mashallah. another great way to remind yourself is to also (this is very good for any one that has little children, nephews, siblings to do, you can even do it yourself). list down what necessities allah has given you on one side of A-4 paper and what you have done in return for each of those blessings on the other. you will be surprised at the result and very well count your blessings. indeed.
  7. today i went to the shop to buy a drink, healthy one offcourse. there was a new edition called "vibe" by springvale. i was so surprised i bought it(normally i pick up fruitopia). it really did taste nice, and it did give me a boost after feeling down(due to my low blood glucose levels). it reminded about this topic, and how else i could've came up with this name(pity it was a new edition though and i had to use my brain power to come up with it originally)
  8. scarface: when i look at that gurl i wanna smile a big fat cheesy smile dont want to be depressed all time but surely the one with the brains is smart enough to know when you are down, hence use her wit to take care of that. Rayanna: what is in looks?nothing. it all fades i reckon. it is temporary and never permanent so does brains. we lose our intellect as the years add to our age. Beauty is mistankenly defined. , so is level of intellect. i believe they have "dummies"-user guide for practically everything now days. scarface: It's true that beAUty fades, but plastic surgery is getting better all the time Hilarious!! humm what conflicting notions. what a dilemma!
  9. scenario: you happened to meet the most beautiful women you could ever set your eyes on, (lets say even that she had all the attributes that you find beautiful in women), but she was one Bimbo, literaly, you can't exchange any intellectual discusions with her, would you overlook her let's say flaw and go with her beauty?...... the next day, you happened to met a sista that was fortunate looking(i say fortunate because no one is absoultely ugly), the sista is intelligent, what she does not have in glamour she has in wit, her comments send you in an ever-thinking mode.could her smartness or sense of character overcome her lack of beauty? who would it be?, Diciso or aqunley? P.S. i know that the religion encourages for women to be chosen for their Deen, but this is a case-scenario,lets say that they were your only consideration.
  10. Nur Libax-sankatabte Northerner (damn just realised they were all guys) give me the three best Nomad names in this forum
  11. well i just wanted to bring vibrance to my stay here, but i still wanted it to sound colloquial hence vibe. (apparently though ppl being complaining that its too much of a turn on and should chnage it  no lie. clearly that was not the intention. lol, i also thought mantra was a man, gosh some of these names are really misleading, what about S.O.S and Endeavor( thank god i have not had any crushes on them>>breathes easily * waves her wand and makes Nameless topic all of the sudden appear vibrant*
  12. Zafir, it does not take highly accalimed intellects to send forth this notion. Any individual with a common sense can see that the US is greatly inflenced by Israel. have you ever read the historical context of Coloumbus's discovery of America, he had bloody jews as companions. if that does not provide a basis for a relationship, i don't know what will. but this assertion was clearly demonstrated by the Bush administrations failure to overlook the fact that thousands of Jews did not turn up for work, on the septmeber 11 attacks. lets just say that the israel's have the US wrapped around their little finger.
  13. it depends on who, if its some enemy of mine who did horribel things to me on a small scale-yes i would Give it to them. .........but if it was george bush or Ariel sharon(worst enemies) or Slobodan Miloscevic the wind would most certainly be more grateful.

i c. well the idea that you had cairns in mind was a bit of surprise, but the thought counts.anywayz mashallah keep doing what you do best. my allahs force be with you.

  16. Hayat

    DAZZLE ME

Call her, N...( it was the key boards fault)>
  17. what makes me cringe about the opposite sex............their deep surrendering stare. sends shivers down my spine.
  18. Rayaana.........why would i be so cruel and wake you up when all the criterias have been met, when you urself could be a potential candidate. We aussies-we don't do that to each other.....no sir...what i will do though is tell you what you are nominated for. yep, i have decided we need a new criteria called "the most uncool individual" . yep, your in the running lady..........so keep being "uncool" and complain about these wonderful ideas that will provide a harmonius bond between fellow aussies and you will surely be a winner!!. yahoo-Uk- don't worry australians always reseve some seats for "pomps", as demonstrated by tony and his experiences of growing up in Adelaide pomps are held very dear. don't know about Libby though. on a final note: Ragee, this aussie corner is not meant to change your views towards anything but facilitate a bond between aussies. ciao, or should i say "aussie, aussie, aussie......
  19. Good one Zarqa: {scenario:} nameless denies, what i don't like him!!, he is the one saying "unislamic things". >> : any girl that harrasses you likes you~xoogsade principle.
  20. pray two ra'akats , make istikhara and talk to those knowledgeable, and make your decision. easy as that, all you have to do is put your trust in allah after that.
  21. What a brilliant idea!. although i agree with Jamilah that we should maiantain the whole annonymouys aspect, i have come up with incentives, here we go. 1.i think that we should have a "awards night" of the most charismatic Aussie participant in this forum, but instead of having it at a function, as people like "rayaana" are too cheap, we will enable them to view it from the comfort of their own homes(i.e. on this actual forum). the criteria this award will cover, includes: best motto(personally i love scarfaces, pity he is not Aussie), most classic post(in all sections), etc..But beware Articulation and control of expression must be evident from your pieces. 2. i think that we should also have a modified version of the "weakest link". in where individuals from different states compete to become the most "athlete state".the competition should be broad an cover alot of aspects i.e. general knowledge, sports, community etc. 3. we should also play match-making, and crown the queen and king of aussies.(this will only be in cyberspace, don't worry they don't have to end-up with each other. just voting based on the nomads that complement each other). thats about it....... Roll with the ideas Aussies. p.s. i was going to say that the winners should all win a holiday destination.....(and possibly report back on familiar faces). but i will let it go.

    Interview with Nur

Nur, how come you have yet to touch the country with the sweeping plains?.........(Australia offcourse). also wanted to ask, do you give da'wah, why are u mobile frequently?
  23. REd sea; 2. name of the female elephants in somali : count me your first pupil. this is the only one i could answer. isn't it both "maroodi"?. now i would like to aks you(this is no case of teacher being taught, but asking because someone asked me very recently and its relevent)........what is the difference between "beer"(which should be the heart) and "beer"(which is garden). p.s. i actually got this right when i was asked by another individual.
  24. The land of OZ. by the way imperail, is the code, "stress"?.it just caught me by surprise.
