Just been looking at google earth and there has been an update for Somalia. The satellite images for most of the large towns now date from 2011-12. Interesting that new buildings in towns such as Barawe keep the same (white boxy) style and colour as the older buildings. Alarming level of coastal desertification though with up to 50KM of uninterrupted inland sand dunes at some places.
