Here we can talk about our language, ask questions/answer questions. But what I want to know here is which dialect of the Somali language is the purest, when I say purest I am talking about the dialect with the least borrowed words. I dont like using alot of Arabic, Italian, English or other languages words and I feel ashamed when many Somalis even use Arabic words that doesnt exist in the Somali language at all (not borrowed). Like the word "yacni", which is used by Somali youth a lot but has no connection to the Somali language at all. So which dialect is the purest? I think after the war Somalia should strive to make the Somali language pure and get rid of these borrowed words and spread this to the school so that people will talk the same dialect aswell. Somali from the north in Somalia is the official but is it the purest? Can we make up new words that are "Somali-like" and use them instead of borrowed words? Will they be native to the Somali language if not influenced by others? For example if I made a "Somali-like" word like 'naraatoo' and say lets give the word this meaning of "kursi" and totally abandon this word since its an Arabic loanword.

If we wanted to end the civil strife in Somalia, we would have to take out Addis Ababa. Because its Addis Ababa who is arming Al-Shabaab with American weapons to continue the "civil" war. Who created Al-Shabaab? Ethiopia. The international doesn't want peace in Somalia and USA therefore sent in its puppet state Ethiopia to destroy the progressing ICU who had claimed all of South Somalia and restored stability and peace to many parts. The only thing we can do is try our best to halt them and start protesting in every major diaspora city where we have a decent Somali population. Does it matter if today there is a Oromo majority? It is still a city founded by Somalis and should be part of Somalia. The Oromos have taken away too much land from us and it is needed to adress this, they are migrating into Somali areas and try to claim them. Its we who should claim parts of South Oromia back and East Hararghe is ours, many people are Somalis who have been Oromized. Oromo is a language and if you speak it you are part of the "ethnicity" because there is no real Oromo ethnicity, many Oromos are infact Somalis atleast in Eastern areas.

I like Eritrea it is a nation that doesnt accept Western dominance proving this by spitting in their face everytime their dog Ethiopia is trying to make them look bad. The country is not democratic, doesnt mean it isnt bad unlike Ethiopia. They always tell us that Eritreans are in bad conditions thanks to Isaias but apparently he is greeted with love while Meles is greeted with protests from Somalis, Oromos, Afars and all other oppressed people who dont want to be part of Ethiopia.

Mental midgets are deluded Amharas like you Passerby and a Habashized Somali, Carafaat. There is genocide in Oga that is why people are struggling even today and there is no development in the region, why? The army of Ethiopia cannot handle Oga as they only seek to exploit the region and colonize the people. Since Somaliland is part of Somalia it should've been invited. We need a solution to end the I clan trying to secede for being bombed 23 years ago. Which seems to be their only reason together with the "Somalia is in a civil war and we dont want to join". Even though nobody told them to join in on the war, but being smart they could atleast be like Puntland instead of trying to join Ethiopia against all Somalis, funny since they are Somali themselves.

The Ethiopians have had 20 years to fix their country, I was in Addis Ababa last month and if you compare a Mogadishu with Addis Ababa its almost the same, its dirty everywhere in Addis Ababa. The only difference between Addis Ababa is there is a few clean areas and larger buildings and that its safe, other than that Mogadishu and Addis Ababa doesnt have much difference. I can tell you that Mogadishu in mid 1970s is more beautiful, clean, safe than modern Addis Ababa. Its not war there but still there are more people that are poor in Addis Ababa than in Mogadishu. Yes, I was in Mogadishu two months ago.

What a sad Somali 'Abtigiis' saying hes Ethiopian, real sad to be part of the small small minority who actually does that who really are Somali. Lol.

I dont know what a koonfurian is please explain and where can I find the information that absolutely nobody in Somaliland state wants to be part of Somalia in the future? What does the 20 years have to do with Somaliland people not wanting to be part of Somalia. Also it seems you are mad at someone/something or am I just assuming?
