  1. i see the regular trollers are busy being champagne socialist in this new but potentially emerging thread over on the politics section. there are certain people working against my interests and wider interest of this thread. this was expected. these saboteurs will be dealt a heavy blow.

SomaliPhilosopher;982248 wrote: I think if such strategies you speak of were implemented Al-Shabaab would be gone very shortly... though a visionary is a requisite to such actions. i am not too familiar with Cabdi Iley though from this he appears like an intelligent guy. Hassan Sheikh can certainly make use of that post Hassan ''Loreal because i'm worth it'' Sheikh Mohamud would've been a great President in 2065. in 2013 Somalia folks need someone who can make decisions. wrong time, wrong man. Cabdi Iley isnt too bright either. 2/3 of his decisions are usually bad but he's made the right decision on UBBO.
  5. Haatu;982238 wrote: abti sometimes you confuse me. You're a bright lad; why don't you polish your Somali and start writing in Afka Hooyo? Better still, why don't you start writing down the stories and histories our elders hold before it disappears forever? there's a reason why Gaildon wrote the book in English but it's obvious these are lost on you, abti. cala kuli xaal you're basically denying such discrimination and feel the qashin aspects of your ''precious'' little dhaqan shouldn't be publicised, somaha? re:You're a bright lad.....i'm not sure i agree. i'm quite average actually. i was very bright in my early 20s but as the harsh realities of life creep up on you, you sort of get dumber, you know. the ideas are replaced by experiences. my advise to you is to go into academia. because in academia you could sound very bright for the purposes of sounding bright but ask an academic to open a tuna can and they'll talk about pythagoras theorem, dee.

Alpha Blondy;979284 wrote: what we ought to do is....... to follow in the footstep in Abdi Iley. some say he's a jaajus, other's say he's a man of action. balse, he's done an excellent job in weeding out UBBO, this we can all agree on. groups like UUBO and AS thrive in environments where frustration and disillusionment exist. Iley has dealt a deadly blow to UBBO and the like using a number of tools. chief among these, is speaking to the diaspora folks and offering them various inducements, including tax breaks, giving them land and making them feel inclusive. in other words, he's cut UBBO's lifeline and has in effect absorbed their support base into the fold. add to this, he's used the region's cultural icons like Nimco Dareen, Dahir Yare and various others to help create a new national psyche. this has created a jacbur-like sense of national pride, albeit barely woven together. people power is important to unity, even if imagined. Iley has also sacked the old incompetent leaders and senior administrator and has replaced them with young, dynamic and professional folks, who would have otherwise joined UBBO. he's created employment for tens of thousands of youth overnight by SACKING the old guards. now, the youth are empowered enough to resist UBBO. AS can be crushed. not by AMISOM, the KDF or the Ugandese but by Somalis. effective leadership and strategic based thinking is the way forward. with AS out of they way, we can finally pave the way forward to achieving peace, alleviating poverty, accessing our resources, creating prosperity and providing plenty for all. the political landscape is changing, it's becoming mature. all these talks and discussions are not futile. they signal an intention. that intention just needs compromise. this is what i wrote a while back.....let me know what you think.

Also heavily advertised in local newspapers and daily's That they are encouraging for people to come down and work And then we went to the embassy and they showed us Kew garden pictures and pictures of the various parts of England That it is all that beautiful and everything is just right And that's why we just applied for the voucher. You burn my flame within your hands You know when my destiny falls This time has insecurity I feel, makes me restless inside Will you take me there To a distant place I've never been before I could leave this world I could follow you like oceans to the shore You could take me there Make the rivers of my mind flow to my dreams You hold your secrets from my eyes You see where the furthest rain falls The day breaks over in the streams You know where my rivers will flow Will you take me there To a distant place I've never been before I could leave this world I could follow you like oceans to the shore You could take me there Make the rivers of my mind flow to my dreams And I dream of places far from here And I call your name to the wind And I wish the night would take me to another world Where no one knows a face or has a name Will you take me there To a distant place I've never been before I could leave this world I could follow you like oceans to the shore You could take me there Make the rivers of my mind flow to my dreams Make the rivers flow Will you take me there Will you take me there Oh yeah Take me there Take me there Take me there, yeah Take me there, yeah yeah Take me there Will you take Will you take Me there Take me there Take me there Take me there, yeah Take me there, yeah yeah Take me there Take me there Take me there, yeah Take me there, yeah yeah ---- my 2nd favourite song of all time.
