another pathetic attempt. this petition is bound to fail and i will most certainly not sign it. sick of the nanny-state-paternalistic culture in the UK. surely, people know whats good for them. the arguments against banning khat are much stronger than any pseudo-science research studies.

over the past two and 1/2 weeks I've been working on a major project, at least according to the experience. I've been refurbishing one of the house that my mother shrewdly invested my university grant into lol, which i still owe at proportionally extortionate rate. its been quite challenging i have to admit. initially my plan was simple but like any 'Grand Designs' (channel 4 show) project, its costs have escalated. this is in part due to labour costs but also because being the perfectionist that i am, i've been focused to spend rather extravagantly on what would be considered to be 'mod-cons' in this part of the world, which i and no doubt kevin mccould consider as only 'essentials'. the new house is located in 'better' area, than where i'm currently living, hopefully for not for too long as i have made plans for this house too. somaliland is a unique place...sometimes! the experiences have been worthwhile. of course like other major undertakings its been unnecessarily difficulty but hey that's the somaliland experience. i've been asked if i'm fixing it because i'm getting married but that's all speculation..... i means all these assertions point all in the same direction. i look forward to enjoying the fruits of my hard labour....hopefully!
