The Marx I knew would not neglect his look.... I think its time you came home. i'm ashamed to admit it LZG but this is me aka Marx (AUN). since i've been reincarnated as Alpha, I've let myself go. i once went to an interview with those sandals and the interviewer was aghast with disgust! y'all should have seen the look on his face. i was offered the job becos he was tolka. -

you know very well there is no limit to my attention seeking antics. its like my whole life is dominated by my obsession with being seen and heard at any given opportunity. in the end i sent a girl i'm friends with in my place despite knowing that men and women cannot be friends without there being some form of attraction (daily mail research). she reciprocated. -

lol@jb, AT&T was the social glue that bound us together, with him out of the picture, i think you'd agree its highly unlikely that we'll see each other again. maybe we'll wait for the next Soler (paragon) to bring us back together. i do apologies for having to share 'your' stage with you.

with AT&T back home in Nairobi, I wonder if JB and I will ever see each other again?

nuune;828593 wrote: ^^ True, right now we have more than 15 universities across the country, and the number of primary and secondary schools are decreasing, you won't hear schools have being built but a fancy universities everywhere, I think they now number in 20s! So what is needed is accountability, and quality as you said. whats the point creating more universities? whats really needed is more technical schools. a developing country must have its education policy geared towards its labour market. there are too many graduates and no jobs.

Abtigiis;829095 wrote: I have officially invited JB and Alpha to Naiobi to reciprocate the kind welcome and generous hospitality. Once i get even, i will be feel morally free to indulge in real somali politics. I saw Che's reaction in the other thread. Surely he is not serious, but if he is then it s clear he is a certifiable fool with no celebral paucity to tell ash from flour. AT&T, it was an absolute pleasure having here in h-town. i'll be sure to visit you in nairobbery when i can sxb. i welcome the change in your politics and i think having you on this side of the fence is a major scoop for somaliland advocates.

Che -Guevara;829167 wrote: What's F street? pronounced ''faaking-ka'' ^ its in centre of hargeisa. its been alleged that it was formally a ' hedonism hub' for colonial officers during the 1950s. but i can asure you no funny business occurs there now. i think che you'd feel home there back in those days but maybe as the sell-out self-hating 'blackie' intermediary.

lol@archie, hows the london these days? is summer around the corner sxb? summer in the uk was just brilliant. i use to go to regents park and chill with my friends.

indeed, nuune, i was very impressive with your somalia vision. i read it with such scrutiny and i think many of those are realistic. it breaks my heart that useful people like you cannot realise your vision and share your technical skills with the somali people, like i have for the past 1 yr and 10 months, albeit being severely constrained. come to somaliland, we should pay people like you instead old white men to fix our airports....'i fixed killy and pristina'.... so what...who cares... this is somaliland and it needs home grown and organically sourced individuals like you nuune to develop this country. come to somaliland sxb and i will have a landscruiser pick you up from the airport...BTW..this was how NG was recently welcomed 'home' by a certain SOLer by the name of JB...lol

try not to put soho and ar.se in the same sentence. it doesn't reflect well on you sxb.

with just 10 days to go before the 21st anniversary of Somaliland's reclamation of its sovereignty (20th of May becos i follow the true pathfinder of this land - but its important to show unity in the face of enmity), i think its very important to use this momentous occasion to once again pledge your absolute loyalty and dedication to 'our' self-determination and claim to international recognition. an short extract from a speech of mine a few years back ------- As-Salamu Alaykum Ladies and gentlemen, I am delighted to be here today in the presence of a number of dedicated Somaliland figures. It gives me great pleasure to be here today and to say a few words about this crucial and important conference about Somaliland................. First of all, I speak here today in my personal capacity and not as the founder and chairman of....................... is partly due to my dedication and absolutely commitment to the development and progress of Somaliland in different capacities.....................................This is because I consider myself to be a faithful advocate of the self-determination of Somaliland and its people which transcends beyond the usual relations between Diasporaic community groups and those groups in The Somaliland Republic. Somaliland recognition plans are on track and gaining momentum. We have surprised the world about creating a safety stability country which Somaliland has managed to establish without recognition, in what is otherwise instable and dangerous part of the world which has been a haven for warlordism, extremist, and more recently piracy. Somaliland is a country with a mammoth potential, it offers an important point of reference and an example worthy of following. The march towards international recognition has not broken down and this is testament to the strong determination of the Somaliland people both those in the Diaspora and those back home. Today, Somaliland provides the only face-saving exist strategy for the long standing conflict that is an outright reconfirmation of the 1960s internationally recognised independent state of Somaliland Republic, which will no doubt pave a way for a mutually and beneficially economic, diplomatic co-operation among the Somali speaking nations in the Horn of Africa. etc..etc..etc... -------------------- my committment to the 'cause' has not changed one bit...its stronger than its ever been and we will succeed in our ultimate aim I/S . my resolutions are very simple. they are practical and very easy... 1. Not to litter any more. to be socially responsible and look after the country. if we don't look after it, who else will? 2. to continue to promote somaliland to the world. i recently hosted a japanese couchsurf (couchsurfing.org). he stayed with me for almost 2 weeks in my house and we are now planning the first somaliland-Japanese cultural friendship society. the facebook will be launched soon. 3. to be the change i want to see in somaliland. - simple acts of gratitude and kindness are all that's need to rehabilitate the broken people of this land. 4. to reapply for my residence visa. it expired on the 6th of april 2012. and i now live in fear within my own conscious for being an illegal. later on this year, i hope to apply for my somaliland passport, hopefully, completing what has up until now been a 'transitional' period. cheers, al.

Abtigiis;828247 wrote: Tonight was great. I am grateful the young Alpha left his mafrsish friends to join us. That is appreciated. The talk was good, I have to say. JB is a good-hearted, nice man. The only surprise of the night was that JB is five months OLDER than me. That doesn't mean he looks older than me though. Alpha is urbane, fashionable as you would expect from a young man in his mid 20s. So far the only problem with him is that he is too young!! Carafaat and the other illegal scripts crowding the site was the take away from tonight's gossip. i Blessed, I am on a working visit. But brace for more once I leave this place. LOOOL @ AT&T...he calls me 'young', yet you should have seen how competitive they were. 'i was married before you!', 'what month of 1953 were you born?' 'i have more kids than you'...you couldn't get a word in there...very often they talked over each other...it was pitiful to say the least. i listened for the most part, observing their behaviour. their egos were huge! i was pleasantly surprised to hear they agreed on some aspects of Somali politics. the setting was better than our last meeting which probably explains why the conversation flowed more. AT&T was more relaxed and JB expressed some interesting opinions. great night overall. this is the most fun i've had in ages!
