Milan, Paris and Hargeisa! clothes! clothes! clothes! are the range this season particularly during this most festive period. at 8:30HCT, my cousin who studied and spent 8 years in Malaysia (not sure if he qualifies as a QURBO-JOOG) and whose new acquired tastes have developed to new sizzling heights was demanding $120.00 from me. presumably, the money was to be spent on new clothes and activities during the big day in Berbera. since his return to this oblivion, i suspect he feels terrible partly because the guilt of having cost his family close to 80K. the man is completely and utterly delusional walahi. its pathetic and laughable. he must fix up immediately and stop living this play-boy lifestyle. since making my final return back to the homeland almost 2 and half years ago, i've been very cautious and often receptive to appeasing the popular mood, appearing inconspicuous and ordinary. i've always felt its important to strike a fine balance between maintaining appearances and not looking trashy in a 86-zipped, new-age and thai made jeans, often worn by the daqan aan dorfin lot. and yet just as quality and value go hand in hand, i feel its important to get the best possible deals and bargins. whenever i go shopping, i usually go to the souq hoose and buy WHO-DIED 2nd hand charity clothes from aboard. there are some real gems among all that trash, some in near perfect condition. reer somaliland rarely shop in these out-door shacks and tarpaulins, preferring instead brand new imports. i never understand how the local people can walk past the shops and never think twice about shopping there. i think i'll treat myself to a almost brand new designer blazer this eid. after haggling i'll get it for $3... for sure.

i suspect many are jealous of samsam becos she's had it so easy...well almost as easy as it gets....we can’t fault her for opting to stay. anything is better than going back to xamar. a little birdy tells me she's the firm favourite to play xawa tako in the forth-coming feature length remark of the original.

lol@LANDER, how does it feel being a 'Somali-lander' from a distance cocked up in your suburban cul-de-sac. you can say whatever you like about me but at least i'm here. sometimes one must be able to question his surroundings and be able to take heed from the experiences and that’s all i'm doing. all this tirade of hate was triggered by the electricity being off for like 30mins the other day. i pay up to 39$ a month in electricity! why is there is no complaints procedure with these electricity providers. it wasn’t nice sitting there in dark walahi and my guests who were of the highest calibre were not amused. i felt embarrassed. you can imagine the conversations taking place now among the elite 'that alpha has bad electricity in his house, i wonder what else doesn’t work there, perhaps he's impotent too?.

destroy your enemies and totally crush them. to come second means to lose. win and win totally by any means necessary. hate is dangerous becos it consumes you more than that which you hate, forgive but not forget and move on.....until you can get your revenge, then destroy your enemy and forever reign supreme. you cant be the best at everything but with a cloak of mystery, self-importance, selective charisma and the art of timing, you can convince up to 95% of people your better than them, the other 5% will be attracted to you through your reputation gained. do threads like these serve any purpose horta? -

In effect what we’re talking about here is the white woman erotising the black man from a position of strength in an encompassing white superstructure, in the process emasculating the black man as sexual creatures/objects of desire. Of course, this is considered morally repugnant, depraved and very deviant but behind closed doors it lingers in their mind set. perhaps somali woman are emulating white women? But from what angle? furthermore if the Negros are in a position to determine Somali girls as 'cheap and clean', what does it say about our relative position in this racial hierarchy? It may well be a case of the hunted becoming the hunter.

Wadani;856562 wrote: Does that mean he has to identify with and internalize how he is perceived by those who invented the word? The word negro has certain connotations, all of them negative and none of which the somalis share with those who are subsumed under the term. + 1 i won't justify myself to brain-dead race mixers and a pathetic little somali girl in the form of 5 who is a sucker, pun intended lol, for blacks of african-american, carribean and west african extracts.

NGONGE;856518 wrote: ^^ Not at all, Alpha. I see nothing in that article that shows Nadifa to be a sellout or self hating. If anything, she comes across as being very patriotic. In the context of this article however, she got the balance wrong. Had the title been "The eternal nomads find a British hero" or something along those lines, I would have appluaded this article of hers. But a strong title that says they're nomads NO MORE then goes on to prove the opposite is a bit of a let down to be honest. i see. thats interesting and i'm in agreement with you there. yes! she should've used a more appropriate title.

Chimera;856512 wrote: 'Mo Farah's glorious gold medal symbolises the emergence of Britain's Somali community' - Nadifa Mohamed. It's clear that some of us are here to stay permanently, regardless of the changing fortunes back home. I agree with her on that front, in twenty years time there will be a much more robust and prominent Somali community in Britain represented in all walks of life, that can't be compared to the various communities of the past that left us with a small foundation to stand upon. In this decade alone we have more British icons of Somali origins than the whole preceding century. Indeed nomads no more! ^ you're still the benefit cheat next door despite mo farah's heroism. he's now a certified brit becos he's loyalties are no longer in question. for the rest of the benefit cheats and islamo-fascist thugs and ukhti's, there is no place for them in the UK's diverse and mosaic society. I mean where is their loyalties and how can be sure that they’re actually british? What is british-nimo baal? Its become sphinx-like! somalis are failing miserably in all social and economic indicators. can we negotiate two contrasting identities and attest loyalties to both?. the UK is in the midst of a racial war and huge social/racial transformations. groups must chose their sides and be willing to accept the consequences. we must take small victories like mo's success and work to better ourselves towards the mainstream and away from dark forces like extremism, poverty, dependencies and benefit cheating. NG, i think what Ms Mohamed who is a sell-out, self hating and a Somali apologist, traits she shares with our very own Ekow Eshun was trying to say in that rather intangible article is ; somalis can now begin the process of being recognised as british despite their historic ties and what-have-you and this yearning may begin the long stretch home towards the mainstream and acceptance.

well done Mo. we are very proud of you. watching some lame event on SNTV for the 'somalia' and djiboutian olypmic teams in London. its quite ridicolous how everyone here is all for 'somalia' and the somali people.

Narniah;856409 wrote: When people say 'You can tell me, I won't tell it to anyone, your secret is safe with me, I will take it with me to my grave' Don't believe it even if it's the person you trust the most. Sooner or later they will tell it someone. So don't tell people things you don't want others to know cause one day they will pass it on. i agree! somalis are not reliable, trustworthy and are very foolish in their value in terms of what frienship is or ought to. they cannot be taken serious. their friendships are usually reliant upon some type of tangible return. -

yes...it is true i take home a rather preposterous salary every month by Somali-Land standards, reside in 10 bedroom fully furnished villa with the latest imported ‘mod-cons’ including a huge steriliser with full 24hr security. own 2 landcruisers, 1 for pleasure and the other employed in my workplace making me extra money.

......and to think i've wasted the best part of 2 years and 3months of my life in this 'precious' regional adminstration of that hell-hole 'somalia'. walahi....i've had enough and leaving with immediate effect next month. 'somali-Land' has gone to the dogs as it were.

^ lol@IBZ do you think the likes of you have what it takes to write a book. writing a book is serious. this book you're writing baal, what is it about?
