Apophis;873749 wrote: Nothing is about to happen. Everything is 100% fine so just calm down. If there's to be a major war (like US/Israel vs Iran) there'll be weeks of building the case for the war (remember Iraq?). China attacking Japan because of the disputed islands which were/are in the news? Highly unlikely, China has a lot to lose and very little to gain and Japan will not initiate hostilities as it ultimately relies on the US for defence and the US is unlikely to encourage such a folly move. The only militarily significant thing that may happen is the final implosion of the Syrian state and the collapse of that regime; this maybe what your spidey senses are picking up a somewhat shoddy analysis of current geo-political issues. waar, gone are the days of a US-led coalition of the willing LOL. the real war is being fought out in the cultural arena. the real question to be asking should be; is China the Gog and Magog?. in surratul dhul-qarnayn, it's mentioned that they will come from the east. this is predicated on the idea that mecca is the centre of the world. Gog and Magog or the chinese are currently being kept at bay by the Himalayan mountain, thankfully. it is also expressed in these verses that they will eat everything and drink everything. of course, the last two pointed are premised on the ideas that they consume the finite resources. laakin, Gog and Magog are said to posses an ideology and china has not historically exported its culture beyond its borders. few thoughts for you to ponder on sxb.

*Ibtisam;873742 wrote: Read your post above: protective, obsessive and fearful etc Charming eh Alpha: That is perfectly normal and expected. In fact that is a perfect father, a strong MAN who can raise a child and contribute positively regardless of who fathered that child. Sadly it is not in most Somali men's blood. Shame really what nonsense! women are there to serve men. i don't see why i should serve her and her fatherless litter. the kids as a matter of priority must be given to their father or father's family.

lol@IBZ, adams, a scary father? nagada khiyaaliga dee. i don't think adams will be a father at all. i mean look at him - he's pathetic. he doesnt have the qualities of being a father at all. plus he's the type of man who will happily raise the kids of his formerly divorced wife and call her kids 'aabo'.

i agree. well, there was the cold war and that project ended around 91. the whole globalisation nonsense died exhaustively around the turn of this century. 9/11 is almost at an end and has lost momentum. the last 3 or so years have been dedicated to the economic downturn. so yes, there is something coming and i think very soon a new project will begin. what the project will be remains to be seen. i do think the players will change and the style and rules of the game will change, invariably.

While some parents secretly have a favorite child, they normally do not broadcast it all over the Internet. Buzz Bishop recently wrote a blog entitled 'Admit It, You Have A Favorite Kid. I Do.' on the parenting website Babble, in which he admitted he likes his five-year-old son Zacharie better than his two-year-old son Charlie, reports the Daily Mail. Bishop, a Canadian radio host, wrote: "Yes, I have a favorite son and I’m not ashamed to admit it. I’m guessing you could look deep in the mirror and admit you have a favorite too. I don’t let Zacharie get away with anything because he’s my first pick, I just..you.. know .. like him better." "I admit it, my oldest son is my favorite because he can do more things. To me, he’s more fun. I don’t love either of my sons any more than the other, but I do like them differently. I’d be willing to bet you’re the same." While some parents on the parenting blog praised Bishop for his honesty, many attacked him, which apparently came as a shock to the dad. Bishop told the Daily Mail: "Perhaps I'm too naive to think that my words will not be one day read by my children, but if they do read them, I trust I will have a strong relationship with my kids that they will understand the context with which I write." "I will concede that the open discussion and criticism I have received has caused me to re-evaluate the balance of time I spend with my kids. I am now consciously planning to have more one-on-one time with my younger son. I do not regret posting it. I will continue to write about my children, I will continue to write about the ups and downs in my parenting."

lol@Oba, avon was a lot smarter and savvier than string. he played dumber than the mark but was always in control. he was visionary and saw the actions of his enemies before they enacted their plans, where string was left to rue his losses. i think there was so much more to his personality....he was all about control and recognised power is nothing without absolute control. waar, these are my own personal opinions dee.

oba hiloowlow;872370 wrote: ^^ lol why cedric? daniels was an enigma. he was spinxlike and planned all the way to the end. in his world, the end justifies the means LOL. i also liked his respect for the chain of command. he was devoted to this work and never took shout cuts. he recognised team work and the benefits of it.

Apophis;872367 wrote: Stringer Bell: bringing intelligence to criminality lol@Apo, String was never really that intelligent. he was just an ambitious business man but also the brightest among a world of criminal dimwits. he used his assumed intelligence to undermine the young 'uns. in that episode inside his house, his bookshelf was impressive - even had wealth of nations by adam smith. the fact that he attended community college perhaps represented self-improvement. but his plans to change the game and to professionalise it, was never really heeded.

lol@Apo and Oba..... typical for you guys to pick the best probably cedric daniels......

when i first considered the idea of coming to somaliland, i knew difficulties laid ahead but i didn't realise i would endure them on a daily basis. i, nonetheless, took the chance to come home. i came with hopes and aspirations. i wanted to challenge myself and make a man of myself, you know. i tried, i really did walahi. i kept my head up and always looked on the brighter side of things. i didn't place any expectations on anyone nor relay on anyone. whatever i did in my short time here, however little, i did myself and without the help of friends or family. the latter being my worst enemy. many of you think i'm spolit and the deserve the suffering i endure on a daily basis. i make light work of it and its always good to know that my SOL friends and their silly comments spur me on and provide my only comfort and relieve. everything is difficult in somaliland and this is made difficult by the culture here; its rigid and but also malleable and there is never consistences. i tried to integrate by changing my style of dress, attitude, way of speaking and worked hard to be a somalilander. the truth of the matter is; i will never be accepted here but no one will ever give me that accolade, except myself. there will be the them and us mentality and there is no point of making a clown of myself trying to emulate the locals. i have to be myself and i shouldn't care for what anyone thinks! earlier today, i reacted for the first time and i realised and rue, the destructive nature of my actions, without restraint and control. i feel defeated because i let myself down. i'm really angry and disappointed in myself. laakin, tomorrow is other day. i wasn't at fault and they wanted my reaction and that's what i gave them. they then ran with it and made it look like it was my fault. today was a valuable day and i'll sleep tonight defeated and ponder on my future in this land.

JB, being a law-abiding citizen, i'd assume you've probably never come face to face with the dark side of the law. Hargeisa central prison is internationally compliant and 5 of the city's' local police station cells meet basic standards. i have no complaints at ALL. this has been an exhausting ordeal and i will look back at this experience with fond memories and a sympathetic understanding of the plight of those who continue to suffer from the lack of justice.

18:30 UPDATE my lawyers just arrived. the police are asking for a bail and a guarantor. i've put down $150 and the guarantor is a personal close friend of the highest calibre. i'll wait and see until tomorrow morning, before deciding how to proceed. i'll stand before the judge and they'll decide how best to settle this most unfortunate incident. i thank you for your support and encouragement. its been a difficult period and inshallah kheyr.

JB, i do not need to remind you about the effective and fast internet access here in somaliland. somcable's high speed fiber optic network will make internet access virtual free for all.

i'm currently under arrest after threatening someone this morning. surprisingly there is wireless access where i'm currently being held. my spirits are up but i'm being held in terrible and appallingly conditions. there are rapists, murders and all sorts of criminals here. i hope through your dedicated support that Amnesty International can hear my plight.

JB, waar, waad iska garanaysa meshan uff fooqal uff-ka. AT may attempt to shine a radiant light on hargeisa/somaliland but i'll be sure to counteract that with absolute negativity. i'm currently being monitored and i may not be in a position to access to the net in the next couple of hours. my aqil is on his way to rescue me but either way i think i'll have to pay the blood money because making a threat is the same as killing, basically. the habros making these allegations are from burco.

i'll respond back to this thread as soon as possible. i'm currently under arrest after threatening to shoot someone this morning. walahi, my situation is not good. i may be in trouble.

LOL@ dearest Juxa, there is an underground society called fat-feeders in the UK. these are men who have a perverted fetish for feeding women to the extent where they are mobidly obese, dangerously on the verge of death. in fact, one guy went down for manslaughter. this begs the question of, when left to their own devices, why somali women feed like cows?
-
*Ibtisam;872075 wrote: Well since all Somali women are more or less the same size- alpha does not need to say anything LOL@IBZ, what nonsense! Somali women are all sorts to be honest. you maybe right there. in somaliland, they're proportionally on the fat size. their diet is atrocious - eating all that left-over, fat and bone-marrow. you'd think they're like those fuel tankers. boy oh boy, can they eat to their hearts desire or what. the UN is lying when they say 35% of somalis are malnourished. to quote my bro - ''these women are like cows, they eat but never release the digested load because its transported to mars'' LOL
-
AT, are you saying i've revealed too much already? perhaps i should just stop there LOL.
-
^ dearest Juxa, if you'd more info please PM me and i'll give you the too-explicit-for-SOL version of events lol.
