the tense atmosphere in the city tonight is quite unnerving and worrisome. these elections have put serious doubts in the people of somaliland. all over the city, there is a huge public showing of force by the government. officers who'd rather be with the families are being asked to show artificial displays of bravado in the name of national security. this is not impressing anyone, least of all the officers. there is no identifiable target or an outside threat deemed worthy...... so far. the reality is; the people are under suspicion and their civil liberties could potentially be at risk, if things continue this way. the people of somaliland have been involved in far greater difficulties and have proven themselves to be patient, peace-loving and responsible. laakin.....what can be said of this criminal SNM regime whose irresponsible actions have put serious dents in the 'peace' that is worshiped here....? its 23:44 here in h-town but the city is not its usual self....there is talk of further demonstrations tomorrow and the potential for more loss of life!!!

if i'm ever forced to leave the SNM criminal regime it won't be because i abhor it but rather because of its useless inefficiency. nothing in his blank hell-hole works. at 11:59am everything comes to a complete STOP! why is this the one thing echoing in my mind. why? why? why? must a shops and government office close at 11:59am? at 11:50 - people are already to finish that days activities! at 11:40 - they are ready to pack their stuff at 11:30 - they've already decided we're finish for day. at 8:00 - they are open for business and look for activities to do! the siesta is by far the biggest impediment to development. it's costing this country 30% or more inefficiency!

its highly unlikely that Zambians troll this site and even if that were the case, we shouldn't be apologetic in our condemnation of their vile and animistic behaviour. zambians are a nation of poor and lazy noble savages. it is the somalis who've come to their land and through effort and diligence made it prosper, lush and evergreen forever more...indeed. on their own, Zambians are incapable of being able to muster together the efforts required to be industrious and this latest attack of the worst kind, hardly shocks Alpha. their violent streak and jealousy induced ferocious attacks are representative across the board from old to young. conformity, which forms the basis for the average intellect of the Zambian bears witness to these unprovoked reactions. when Kenneth Kaunda famously said 'the Zambian likes to relax in his leisure, unrestricted.......'', he certainty wasn't wrong there. perhaps, they should continue to slumber in their leisure and let those with a superior economic prudence get on with their work, unrestricted, of course.......!

not to overshadow the sentimental and 'get-the-tissues-out' atmosphere of this excellent thread, but i can see where A-pozi is coming from when he talk of this 'the guilt trip'. from personal experience, it was this guilt trip that has always kept me in line. i had this automatic and externally generated but internally-induced guilt for days whenever i fell out of line. my parents always remitted this feeling of 'we're disappointed in you; do you realise how much we've sacrificed for you........''. up to now, i'm still a mere satellites - still attached to HQ. i'm finally taking ownership of my own affairs but their manipulative resistance to change is clear. my family own me but i'd rather be owed because at least i have that 'direction' and 'sense of purpose' instilling.... which i lack on my own. its a trinity of sorts (family, Alpha and context) A-pozi had a valid point, but his 'too clever by half' execution has left an unruffled and a sour taste in what was a seminal thread.

the level of corruption in the SNM criminal regime is beyond mere words and it never ceases to amaze me that they're still pushing the case for international recognition or failing that some semblance of governance. this madar character is himself a rogue of limitless greed! how can they ensure collection of taxes when their recent elections have proven to us and indeed the international community, that no matter how many years you worship 'peace' and propagate such fallacies, to every individual willing to listen, it will fall on dead ears.
