  1. LOOOOL@Oba, you forgot the question sxb! JD=GAME OVER
  2. ^ LOL run away! its madness....anyways, i've decided to see her tomorrow.
  3. it use to going out but i'm going for staying in reading a book or watching a film?
  4. the strangest twist, has suddenly taken what was a blossoming friendship to take a turn for the worst. we meet recently and i cannot seem to recall the exact date but it's about one month and half now. we meet, we clicked, we exchanged contact details. she became a friend and i became a friend but within a wider circle of friends. i've recently left the group to pursue other interests but occasionally meet up with them. that was then, but it seems i'm now a permanent fixture, once more. she was over-friendly from the get-go and that didn't seem to sit very comfortably with me. i was wry and held back to further study this fascinating character. i concluded from these observations that she was harmless and maybe it was just her personality. she's different, you see and has something alluring about her person. i'm often greeting with a wanting peck on the check and another random peck about 59 mins later. it's witnessed by all and yet she seems to care very little. i don't like this. i don't like my private space being invaded like that, especially in front of friends, who look on with indifference. what's more concerning are the intensity of the phone calls, text messages and demands to be added to facebook. i've become reluctant to see my long term friends because she she's now the social glue that binds them together. her constant shouts of ''where are you baby?'' and ''why are you avoiding me?'' are worrisome. she's even given me a pet name but imagine it to be 'Alpha-lino'' she's nice and i've already done the SWOT analysis of dating her but these have already concluded a big fat ''NO''. i'm concerned by her dominatrix-like possessiveness and over-obsessions with me. she knows where i live and since banning all my friends from visits to my house, i'm worried she'll just decide to turn up without notice. she has no qualms with me visiting her and meeting her mother and friends, as they're ''liberal''. in fact, she's insisted they are very keen to meet me. the real worrying started when she recently revealed a bombshell - she dreamt about me. i inquired about these seemingly ever more frequent dreams with a serious face but with a sarcastic inquest. she hasn't relented in further exploring these visions and what they could mean for 'us'. she continues to speak of 'us' as opposed to individual entities who are just friends and nothing more. i never interject in her long soliloquies. earlier today, i found we were all of a sudden alone together - no doubt because of her crafty intervention, when she made a major scoop for me LOL. the talk was no longer trivial but turned serious, the tone tense, the atmosphere could have been cut with a knife and the focus solely on me. she started talking of relationships and getting to know each other and stuff. i told her that she's cool and that we're good friends, albeit still getting to know each other, without wanting to disappoint. i left abruptly to leave the friends about an hour later and as i got ready to leave, she followed me with such stealth-like tenacity, before insisting that i pick up the phone later on tonight as she had a burning desire to tell me something important. this is madness! i don't like it and i'm not in the least bit concerned about hurting feelings and interrupting the social harmony of the group dynamic. i've blocked her number and have ceased all communicable contact since 6pm. i barely left the coffee shop when she called to say 'what are you doing tomorrow?' LOL.

  7. AfricaOwn;905448 wrote: I'm glad I don't have "Islamic" sounding name then? But seriously, that's an awful comparison my friend. Its a shame that you're thinking this way. of course, you don't Jamal Smith! but remember your mother and your father and other relatives who will be prosecuted because of their Islamic sounding names.
  8. AfricaOwn;905439 wrote: What makes the kids Nazi inspired names odd to you? Because you know it marks anti-Semitic and shameful connotations. And I know that you're not comparing these names to "Apple", chillout. look at the bigger picture. todays it kids with nazi name. tomorrow its the muhammads and those with islamic sounding names....this which-hunt is coming and when it comes, you're no longer deserving of being an american because you carry a terrorist's name.....
  9. AfricaOwn;905422 wrote: Teaching/Raising Children to Hate hate is subjective..... and it meaning constitutes different meanings to different people, so it's worth considering the context in which we're dealing with here. responsible and loving parents have the right to name their child as they deem fit.....now, in this particular case it's a little odd that the kids have all nazi inspired names, but what about the likes of gwyneth paltrow and chris martin naming their daughter - APPLE....you can see what i'm getting at but having said that - its not the job of child services to intervene in matters of a domestic nature and take the child away from their parents. the names of your children are, but only the first step, in curbing basic democratic rights in the name of sensibilities but how far are we willing to support political correctness and the liberal media's merciless campaigns in projecting a regimented and indeed a paternalist view of how society ought to live. this particular case is indeed fraught with sorrow, but let us not denigrate our civil liberties in light of it.

  12. greatest evening in the history of mankind to you and yours, last night, i was afforded the pleasure of hosting a high ranking senior official. it was excellent and i hope to organise more social events like this.

  17. as i've stated many times before, my mandate in somaliland will end in the 1st quarter of 2014. by this time, i envisage, i'll have completed my objectives i/s. in the year and 3 months left of my mission, i hope to invest more time in the personal affairs of Alpha and engage with only pertinent issues. since coming to somaliland in 2010, i've come along way and achieved many things. in hindsight, the experience has been first class and my direction is now a lot more clearer. LOOOOOOOOOOOL.......................2013 will be a pivotal year in completing what remains of my objectives in somaliland. by the end of 2013, i will have the means to start the initial planning stage for my next mission, i hope! LOL

  20. when my uncle, who is a native reer hargeisa unlike JB, who claims the city, came here couple of months ago, he said, ''what has been destroyed horta?, all i remember were shacks and small buuls...these propagandist who claim the destruction of hargeisa are lying. don't you ever believe them abti...''
  21. Apo, you need to chill.....the only thing slightly retarded about my little story is the name 'Underpeter' or 'Unders' haha......i was hoping to create that archetypal African intellectual type. Unders is from Zambia and was educated at Stanford in microbiology and wrote his PhD on ' the symbiosis of the Zambezi's diverse marine-biology and its political and allegorical manifestations under Kaunda's sector reforms in the National Disaster Agency of 1978'. he likes polo and has Zambia's largest collection of stamps.
