the 100 people who have been deemed to have made a considerable impact on Somaliland, under various categories were presented with their awards in a pompous ceremony last wednesday 20th of Feb. i've gone through the list and to be quite frank its abysmal. this programme has enormous potential but it has FAILED to deliver. the likes of Big Silaanyo, henchman Hersi, the ever-incompetent musa bixii were included in the final 100. the Qiimee Qofkaaga Si aad qiima u yeelato committee worked very hard but its management of the process was poor, the voting procedure was flawed and lacked transparency. be that as it may, despite the best efforts of the committee to unearth new talents and real change makers that could potentially serve as role models for a better Somaliland society: FAILED!. furthermore the committee's over-zealous attempts to be inclusive were politicised and was thus another major FAILURE. the final 100 were apparently chosen a on a 4.5 formula?????? nonetheless, it was a well attended events and many of those who received recognition for their efforts were truly worth. i'll try to get the final 100 list. big Silly-yaan-yo is NOT worthy. nor is henchman Hersi . baal look at them looking so glum and quite proud of themselves in the photo. these men shouldn't be awarded for their destructive efforts. Hersi, recently had a woman and a mother, no less, locked up for 8 months. apparently she sent inappropriate text messages to his phone.
