1. she's alright. i follow her on facebook. congratulations walaashay. she could do more for the cause, if she were to wear a hijab, and to perhaps remove that awful nose-ring.
2. he had to be black. that's disappointing.
3. so i've got this Japanese Couch-surfer staying with me. this is his second visit to SL. he stayed almost 3 weeks with me back in 2012. he's an awesome guy walahi. it's been so nice having him around. he's very polite and courteous, really. he's been hanging around with me and couple of diaspora friends. we've all being chilling out in a number of joints around the city. he usually pays. he's a good housemate too. very clean. yesterday, during the Jeudi Soir festivities, we watched couple of movies including transformers age of extinction. yesterday, we went to the Ministry of Culture to get our permits. on Sunday, inshallah, we plan to visit my tol's land in Las Geel and Berbera. promises to be an excellent eid holidays.
4. ^ not really but i did managed to get 8 - if including this comment, i'm writing now, for a thread that would have otherwise being ignored. tana ku xisbtan.
5. dearest brother Kenny, thank you for this timely reminder.
6. funny story. what did you expect from a culture built on suspicion, hearsays and wax-la-yidhi speculative BS.
7. @burahadeer said: ^^True, plus her coach and that of Qatar,Sudan and few Mideast countries are Somalis, making millions too. why don't you become head of Kulmiye's athletic depart training Musa Bixii, Big Silaanyo and Warancade and further pillage this young democracy of it's scarce resources. by the way, have you been given a position within the regime, yet?
8. ^ we know very well Xamaris are very quick to pick up the gun at any given opportunity, instead of resolving issues peacefully. there's really no need to mask y'all's wickedness with a veneer of rehabilitatory semantics. no amount of research will ever uncover the number of people physically, psychologically and emotionally affected by years of protracted tribal warfare, unprovoked violence, criminality and external meddling. your culture is violent and your people wicked. a nation of degenerates, life in Xamar is incredibly cheap because the people there have no self-worth. human life ought to be sacred, instead the continued killing, destruction, pillaging and rape committed truly boggles the mind.
9. @Dhagax-Tuur said: ^envious. Honestly, everyone does it. Mo for the Brits, few in nordic countries. Even Turkey and Azerbaijan have Ethiopians running for them. Wealth is a wonderful facilitator. Even Northern Somalia will have its own paid mercenaries running for them. That is if they discover the black gold and administer it wisely. ^ well, we're not going to hired AMISOM's athletics department to represent us in any competition. they're already doing a good job training in the rape camps, y'all have accorded them. Mo Farah is British. he's excelled and got to where he is because of hardwork. he's a product of British Athletics comprehensive nurturing programme. he wasn't offered a new nationality and a briefcase full of cash unlike these glory hunters.
10. Scheming Bruce Robertson, a bigoted and corrupt policeman, is in line for a promotion and will stop at nothing to get what he wants. Enlisted to solve a brutal murder and threatened by the aspirations of his colleagues, including Ray Lennox, Bruce sets about ensuring their ruin, right under the nose of unwitting Chief Inspector Toal. As he turns his colleagues against one another by stealing their wives and exposing their secrets, Bruce starts to lose himself in a web of deceit that he can no longer control. His past is slowly catching up with him, and a missing wife, a crippling drug habit and suspicious colleagues start to take their toll on his sanity. The question is: can he keep his grip on reality long enough to disentangle himself from the filth? 9/10.
11. sick and tired of these Gulf states ''professionally'' hiring none Gulf State ethnic athletes. it makes a mockery of the competitive nature and spirit of sports. many of these Gulf States aren't producing talented athletes, so their solution is to naturalise talented African athletes, to be able to compete on the international stage. the Gulf States are not good for sports in general. they think money is the solution to everything.
12. i bet Mo Farah is ashamed to be associated with his criminal. reer Gabiley are usually civilised folks, whatever possess this criminal, to commit 15 different crimes. i just hope he's not deported to Somaliland because we couldnt tolerate another potential Cawar Xareed. he ought to be deported to Xamar Caddey, so that at least, the women there can be raped by ethnic Somalis, instead of ugali-eating-fufu bantu monsters.
13. who wouldn't be terrified by tribal jihad, terrorism and bantu rape camps. i applaud the residents of Mogadishu for being so brave in the face of adversity.
14. @Tallaabo said: Suldaan Άλφα, how widespread is the registration of the population in the nation? hi, thanks for your question. the registration of folks is an archaic process, for lack of better term. there are several processes of proving your identity, however. obviously you'll need an caaqil in the first instance. everyone has a caaqil and they're not quite difficult to locate. my caaqils are usually found near Caanaha Riyaha near Suuqa Hoose. the caaqil acts as a guarantor when you're registering for your taysaro. i'm not sure they're particularly relevant in this day and age, but they're quite important at getting stuff done at the local government level. similarly, there's the national ID card/voter card jumbo pack from the 2010 elections. these are useful for opening bank accounts, and verifying your identity. my friend was saying he was able to cross into the Hawd region with just SL ID card. but what's needed are real genuine efforts to create censuses but there's a lack of qualified technocrats and administrators. shame. my taysaro..... now, there's talks of national registration mashruuc. i'm not convinced by this ploy as a genuine attempt to register folks. it's a political device designed by the Kulmiye Zionist Criminal Regime to rig the 2015 elections. D.O.B - 1/12/1936 D.O.B - 3/08/1942 Silaanyo is tempting fate by playing with his age. lol.
15. @Tallaabo said: What is the need for covering the face in a girls school?? There might be male teachers but they would not flirt with their students, they are not allowed to anyway. saas miyaa? she's a little attention fiend. nothing else.
16. they were probably Puntlanders. i mean look at them. as people, they're no strangers to attention seeking antics, and making some small change in the process. disgusting.
17. heavy rains in the nation's capital this african night.
18. just 4 days until my 4th anniversary in the SL. how time goes. so much has changed since last year. i'll be taking questions. if anyone has any questions about my own personal experiences or how much a plot of land costs in dhaanta habar qalooc.
19. @ElPunto said: Greedy business people. Somalis are not lazy - tell that to fisherman, farmers, pastoralists, dockworkers etc they are also lazy, illiterate, incompetent, undermining. i've instructed the same guy to use a hole puncher at least 5 times now. he gets it wrong every time. there's a limit to being patient. a Bantu Kenyan can do that without being prompt. when it comes to work, Somalis are truly bad. they like to cut corners and always end up producing shoddy work. these people can work but they also do the job at 50% capacity. that is not good. the people need training. we are making the necessary arrangements. why should they demand jobs, if they're unable to do them. it is our hope, there's more technical vocational courses for ethnic Somalis, so they can do the job probably. they are willing to do the work, they just need be shown how. it's not their fault.
20. I am the sister of the martyr. I am the aunt of the potato seller at the local market. I am the daughter of the local sheikh. I am the injured of the revolution, the protester, the jailed, the detained. I am the tortured, the exiled, the kidnapped, the raped. I am the veiled, the non-veiled, I am a beautiful soul. I am a Somali woman. My skin is of ebony and ivory, I am young by spirit, old by experience. I am the pregnant, the wife, the single mother, the widow, the godobtiir and godobreeb tool forcing me into marriage as the compensation payment for another clan’s peace settlement. I am a Somali woman. Yet I am not a victim, I am a leader. Not a woman leader, but a leader who happens to be a woman. I clean up the streets of my nation, I rise up the past, the present and the future generations. I brought the Nobel Peace Price to Somalia. I am a Somali woman. I speak out for my son at school. I speak up for my daughter in the madrasa. I pray for my ancestors and for my older son in jail, for my mother in the hospital. I speak out for our artists whom they keep bombing in theaters and on the streets. I am a Somali woman. I speak out for my mind, I am the pulse of the people. I live in the city, in the town, in the rural areas, in the suburb, in the mountains, on the borders. I am in Garowe, Mogadihsu, Afgoye, Hargeisa, Galkayo, Bosaaso, Beletweyne, Badhan, Bocame and every corner where there is life and sound I am a Somali woman. I boost the economy, I advance the technology, I give life to the community. Do I deserve to be equal to you? YES I do because I am a woman. A Somali woman. ---- jimca wanaagsan y'all. thought to share this incredible little poem i found online. favourite line - Yet I am not a victim, I am a leader. Not a woman leader, but a leader who happens to be a woman. - caajib. congratulations to Somali Women.
