yesterday i went to the second Wadani conference in as many weeks. this week Fatima Said joined, after leaving UCID. this is a great acquisition. it's like Di Maria joining Manchester United oo kale, you know.
we were enjoying the speeches when a group of Zionist Kulmiye youth, in the pay of MP Nacnac, started hurdling stones at us. this was crazy. we didnt expect to be attacked in this il yare galbeed neck of the woods. if this was New Hargeisa, we wouldn't tolerate such nonsense. but we did. we were stuck in the compound, we couldn't leave at all. it was terrible. couple of my friends got hurt. we were like political prisoners.
Wadani is receiving a lot of attention. it's going to be a deadly force to be reckon with. although, i doubt this was covered in the media. my habar qalooc friend, who is ranked highly within the Wadani power structure, was saying he might be able to get me in there. LOOOOOOOOOOOOL

i was about 25% into a film called The Maze Runner, when i heard some loud noises in the office. it was people running towards a fire. i have never seen such a spectacle. it was an amazing site. the little buul was burning and there was smoke everywhere. luckily a few of us volunteered to put out the fire. we used spades and natural sand. then a few other guys came with fire extinguishers. walahi it was amazing. the bravery and togetherness of the Somaliland people in this national emergency. the govt fire services came much later but were there as ever to save the day.
luckily NO one was hurt but the buul was inhabited by Oromos.
