Hargeisa is a good mix, not nearly as traditional and conservative as some of the places I went in kilil shanaad, but of course I behave accordingly Plus it's Ramadan, I will probably just spend a few days with my family and NOT hanging out with you, ee sida ula soco. you're just being ridiculous now. i bet y'all will be having 2 samosa's per person at your ''ayeyo's house'' for the first 28 days, then 3 samosa's per person thereafter. can you confirm? also, like i said, i'll be going into seclusion, for the purposes of observing the fast (6 samosa's per ONLY person ), this year. that is ALL you need to inaad la socotid. nothing else. It's a hassle, it's Ramadan, and it's a rough trip, but I'd like to go see ayeyo don't bother coming here with cheap excuses. kulaaha ''ayeyo''. inabti, miyaad isku xishootid and STOP the pathetic excuses for once in your life, ma garatay?. Gudida Wanaag Farista iyo Xuman Reebida will be roaming the streets of Hargeisa and will probably catch you in the act, as you OVER indulge in your ''western-isms''. shameful. stay away you little goat.

its OFFICIAL, y'all. Ramz begins on WEDNESDAY 9th July 2013. even Saudi and Egypt agree on this one. LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

couple of noteworthy comments to make..... 1. tomorrow maybe ramz. this is particularly worrying. i'm not sure if i'm ready since my preparation is not fully complete. i need more time. i think 1 more day will suffice. balse, when the shiekh said....''there are many who were here last years but have passed away. let this be a reminder to all.........'' - i realised i was READY. 2. my gardening buddy Mohamed ''oromawi'' tended his resignation earlier today. this was particularly difficult for me to accept. we've known each other for almost 3 years. he has helped me to build one of the most impressive gardens in Somaliland's short but fruitful existence. he says he will go to harar to work on the fields but i highly doubt this. i wouldn't be surprised if he came back next week with new flowers. be that as it may, he has expressed regret in leaving the SL Republic. he will be missed.

it rained in 3 intervals earlier today. 1st interval - small rain drops but over a 10 min period 2nd interval - fairly brief but strong rains 3rd interval - very little (shuux) and quick receiving reports that it rained heavily across the city. this is noteworthy.

Saalax;967065 wrote: Alpha Do Somalilanders plant more trees to fight desertification? In 19th century to early 20th century many places in Somaliland were forests, even the road between Dhacarbuduq and Hargeysa, there us to be elephants and all kinds of animals there. We need to think of how to replant those forests and keep the remaining forests under protection, it is the best thing for the well being of our environment. this needs a carefully crafted reply. i'll get back to you, inaar.
