  1. Let me guess, his Somali parents did not initially approve his farshaxan career. Good luck to him.
  2. ^^ c'moon Oz. I was desperate for an Aussie win against Germany. Don,t include me in the German fans. See waaye awoowe My non-African team is France and they are not in a good shape either.
  3. Germany has a lot of weaknesses, but because Australia didn't come to play, the Germans are looking fantastic. This is murder. 4 zero.
  4. Oh boy, These Aussies are not confident at all. They are running after the ball like headless chickens making the Germans look way better than they truly are. australia is the worst team I have seen so far. Oh well. Hopefully Ghana will Frustrate the Germans.
  5. Australia must do everything it can to stop the much hated Germans.
  6. Ghana is delightful to watch. Great win. Without Essien, they are still a threat. I hope they give the Germans a hard time.
  7. Ghana is playing some attractive football. So far so good.
  8. This is ridiculous. What a joke this FIFA body has become.
  9. "He's crying because he wants a cigarette," said Diana, his mother, who like many Indonesians goes by only one name. http://edition.cnn.com/2010/WORLD/asiapcf/05/31/indonesia.smoking.baby/index.html

  12. Another confrontation may be on the horizon. The Irish Department of Foreign Affairs announced Friday that the ship's crew had rejected an offer to dock their ship at Ashdod, Isreal. The Irish government said it fully respects "their right to do so and to continue their protest action by seeking to sail to Gaza". Among the activists on board is Irish Nobel Peace Prize laureate, Mairead McGuire. http://news.google.ca/news/search?aq=f&pz=1&cf=all&ned=ca&hl=en&q=Irish+Peace+Ship+Gaza
  13. Blogger Glen Greenwald of Salon.com takes on Eliot Spitzer on MSNBC. Fasicinating exchange.
  14. Believe it or not, the common Israeli does care about the image of their country. That image of Isreal as a nation "definding itself" is what actually fuels the long occupation. Turkey's main objective here is to portray Israel as unreasonable state. Turkey is rather in a unique position to do so because of its credibility with the world as a “secular” state. This is not physical. It is a diplomatic confrontation. I admit “diplomatic victory” may amount to little in the end as far as compensating for deaths of the Turkish activists is concerned, but this is a start considering how the prevailing global attitude has always been one of silence and often times unashamed support for the many Israeli terror campaigns of the past. At least Israel is feeling some diplomatic heat this time from its own friends. Just a thought.

You want me to go so that you can send Riyaale militia and assassinate the big fish. Bixi maayo ilaa aan Ciidan fiican uruursado awoowe. Jokes aside, Awoowe the young man has done a remarkable job creating mini projects back home and he has big ones in the pipeline. Let us congratulate him and wish him good luck.
  17. Brother Doonyaale is an inspiration to all the young Turks out there lurking around doing routine stuff. He has refused to sit around comfortably in Minneapolis and decided to help his people ... something each and everyone of us needs to do. Our prayers are with him and his good endeavors.

  19. War garaadkii Baashi waakaa godka ka soo baxay. I read this article few weeks back. Great read indeed.
  20. Originally posted by Thankful: Libaax-Sankataabte, I downloaded the virus protection that you recommended a couple weeks back, and it's weird Dhahar.com is the first site that is actually blocked for having a trojan horse! Is anyone else getting it? Yes, it is being blocked by my firewall as well. I worry for others who have no protection. It seems the site was hacked and a trojan was uploaded by the hackers. Someone should alert the owners asap. These are dangerous trojans that are silently downloaded to visitor computers without their knowledge (unless the user has firewall/internet security). It is always a silent process and the site visitor would never suspect anything. I am willing to help and give the brothers who own this site some information. This is a problem that can be solved.
  21. George Weah, the AC Milan legend, and Africa's greatest footballer. In 1995, he was named FIFA World Player of the Year, European Footballer of the Year, and African Footballer of the Year.
  22. Follow the live stream. An important event that is taking place despite the mainstream media giving it very little attention is the 8 or 9 humanitarian aid ships that have left Turkey, Switzerland, Greece, England, Ireland, Algeria and other places headed straight to Gaza to break the blockade imposed by Israel. The organizers have setup a LIVE video stream on board the main ship for the world to witness what will happen as they approach Gaza. Those aboard the ships have reported that Israeli warships are now following their convoy and Isreal has been actively cutting off their live feed signal. http://www.livestream.com/insaniyardim
