loool I will let you do all the talking ... take it easy on the fellas though.

Maan, was I happy or what. "Batigool" and his buddies are on the brink of elimination. England is my team now ... I don't think France will make it.
-
I don't know about you all but I think the IRISH team is a warrior team. They have been through alot and everytime they seem to come through at the end. I wanted those GERMANS to be humiliated but at the end I was happy with IRELAND's 1:1 draw with SKINHEADS. My favourite team? FRANCE. I like that African team (I call them African because most of the players are black or arabs). If not France, then ENGLAND or PORTUGAL. Teams I would hate to win: ITALY (I heard this Somali/Italian player got booed by the Italian spectators at the stadium when the coach added him to Italy's national team. I guess they kicked him out after that day.), BRAZIL (That Rivaldo guy should have been kicked out of the tournament) ARGENTINA (The team is too cocky. )

USA beats PORTUGAL -- one of the favourites to win the world cup. Good for AMERICAN SOCCER. Good for the sport. Well done USA. I would love to see Portugal advance to the second round but that USA win was much needed here.

The African teams aren't gonna reach anywhere. They always dissapoint us. Senegal played poorly as they were dominated though out the game by the French. Their goalkeeper was good and they had couple of good defensive guys but THEY WERE VERY LUCKY TO GET THAT GOAL. I don't even want mention Cameroon because they let me down again when Ireland dominated them on the second have. they could have lost the game if they weren't lucky also. Nigeria? ... well let us see tonight Saudi Arabia got blown away 8 goals to nothing by the injury filled German team. What a shame. They played like DHEXKUJIREYAAL. lol So far the game is interesting ....

This is sad. I hate to hear news like this about a fellow African but I don't see any excuse why anyone in his position should do such a thing. Ceeeeeeeeeeeeeb. ====================================== NEWS ARTICLE Senegal's Fadiga Caught Stealing, Expected to Play in World Cup Seoul, May 29 (Yonhap) -- Senegal midfielder Khalilou Fadiga was investigated by police for allegedly stealing a gold necklace but will be able to play in the team's World Cup opener Friday against France, Daegu police said Wednesday. The police plans to recommend that local prosecution not indict Fadiga as his alleged theft charges are light. Fadiga was booked without being put in detention Tuesday after stealing the necklace, worth 300,000 won (US$233), at a shop in downtown Daegu, a southern provincial city where the team training camp is located. He stated in a police investigation that he committed the misdeed "just out of curiosity." Fadiga, plying his trade with France's Auxerre, is one of Senegal's top playmakers. After finishing training in Daegu Wednesday afternoon, the Senegalese team is scheduled to fly into Seoul to prepare for the World Cup opener. sshim@yna.co.kr

looool AMINA SHEIKH ... these nomads are giving your hard time huh? In a civilized, way though ... Welcome to Somalia Online.

May his soul rest in peace. He was a hero to many. Samir iyo iimaan to his family.

Ali, anybody who is being productive is welcome to Somaliland. I know business people from every corner of Somalia who are making money there. It is just a free land. As long as you don't duel too much into politics, you can get your share of wealthy in Hargeysa, Berbera and Borama or anywhere else. Just respect the rules set by the natives there. That is all. Oh, make sure you don't have DAKANO too ... I mean, that you haven't killed somebody from a certain tribe before. Somalis are still Somalis and you will be a target if the evidence is there.

So far the discussion is clean and informative. Please don't call each other STUPID and IDIOTS. Name calling doesn't really win you the arguement. --------------- Debate, Discuss but don't Insult

I am bothered by people putting other nomads' integrity on the line. Shaqsii did give credit to the author and if you didn't see it, why rush into judgement? And even if the author of this thread forgets to cite the source because of human error, there is no formal claim on his part that he is the author. This is a forum where people discuss issues. Let us not be too preoccupied with the source of every single thread. DEBATE THE MESSAGE. That is why we are all here for. I think it is time we got rid of this anonymous bashing of each other. It is time for everyone on this forum to start registering.

Soul_Lady, I couldn't have said it better. Much respect to you. We work so hard to get this site to where it is now and I don't think that anyone of us ( Nomads) is going to let someone post vulgarity and personal attacks against others. We give people warnings and time to get used to the rules here and if we still can't accomplish peace here, we simply ban the troublemakers. One advice to Seduc. There is so much negativity pouring out of your mouth young woman, but please tone down your rhetoric. Debate, discuss, but don't insult. I have no choice but to delete your posts and all the negetive posts against you. Libaax-Sankataabte Somalia Online Team

She didn't win $900,000. She won the 2002 Goldman Environmental Prize - worth $125 000. It is not a Nobel price. -

knock knock ... if you girls don't open the door i will use my 230 pound pure muscle to break it open .... thanks for letting me in Talking about rape, welahi I know this brother from Minneapolis who has two sister and a cousin raped in the Kismayo area by Caydiid's militia in the same house. The sad thing is that they all got pregnant and they all have baby sons living in Nairobi. One of the girls committed suicide and one of the other two is mentally ill now. I heard that some American missionaries are helping out such Somali families by taking away the babies and putting them up for adoption by Muslim families. I don't know what the culamaa say about such thing, but that brother told me that a girl can't have abortion just because she concieved by rape. I think rape is something that can endanger a girl's life (depression, suicide).

Wiseman, ridiculing each other's post and personal attacks aren't the nomad way here. I think you owe commonsense an apology. Maybe I misunderstood ya. commonsense's post was a legit and thoughtful one I think. you are the wiseman of this forum, aren't ya? one love
