Do they have reps in Puntland house of appointed (selected) legislators? It is SOL tradition to tutor the young ones and lead them to the “right pathâ€. Soon the “young bloodz†you see here today will remove the “chick†abbreviation from their usernames and replace it with something like "wisewoman" or “philosopherâ€. It is amazing how some of the mature ones here have started. PS: we have released more than 200 new members recently and I sincerely believe the majority of them will find their way to the high-level-discussion corners of this forum in a short period. For now they are observing … and trying to figure things out. Let the tradition live. Let them learn.
  6. The Australian crowd is taking over. Add Rahima and Legend of Zu to this list and you got a major "political" voice on SOL. We better pay attention. As part of the 200 members who recently joined SOL, I think the Australian crowd is the most "colorful" of all the newbies.
  7. Walaahi this is great news. Ilaahayoow u siyaadi, dhibaatadana ka saar dadka abaartu dhibaataysay.
  8. Congrats inadeer. Bashbash iyo barwaaqo ayaan Ilaahay adiga iyo familkaagaba idiinka baryayaa. Aamiin
  9. Monday is an important day as the world awaits the unveiling of an old Chinese map. If what experts are seeing is confirmed, a Chinese Muslim discovered America. Let us wait for the unveiling of this map on Monday and the subsequent authentication process. This specific map is a reproduction of an early work. “It will revolutionize our thinking about 15th century world history.†This is all over the news. Read the news on Google
  10. Sammurai, Cadde was right to denounce the police chief’s action because that was a clear desecration of the rules. Captain Xiif was in charge of Ciidanka Badda for a long time and for the police force to come and pronounce they will get rid of him is unconstitutional. Let Cadde, the president do the firing/sacking. Not the police force. The president didn't even know about this. When Cadde heard about what the police force did, he was really appalled. They embarrassed Cadde and he had no choice but to condemn this illegal act and to request a speedy investigation. The Daraawiish force did a first-class job. They caught the few perpetrators (mostly Cadde’s clansmen) and took them to Cadde. He was really mortified. It was a miscalculated mission ordered by none other than the police chief. Law and order must be upheld in that part of Somalia. No one is above the law.
  11. ^^ Castroow, I liked that quote so much because I could just picture Sophist's and Sammurai's face infront of me. Oh boy!

  14. ^^ MMA thanks for taking care of that saxib. This section is well moderated lately but sometimes attacks like these can occur. Castro, when I see a vile statement such as this and I settle on to have my personal say on the same thread, I do it for the purpose of sending a message to the offender and to other nomads(fleetingly) that such violation is intolerable and would at the very least set off a severe condemnation from the nomads as is the case now. It is a handy tool we utilize for training purposes(intended for the newbies). The offending post usually disappears shortly after. We wait to hear from our brother Jumatatu. It is such a blatant violation of the forum rules.
  15. It is a possibility someone else used this young man's username and posted such filth. Juma is not a bad fella. I don't know what to say.
  16. ^^Jaalle Juma, Togane's work has been discussed in this forum many times. Togane is a poet with his own opinion. Discussing Togane's work here or providing an external link for his website is not a violation of SOL rules. Cuqdada iska saar caddaaladna samee.
  17. Thanks Parganoow. Cawrala dabeey baa lehe Suubaan aan samreyn baa lehe Samawadoo ka daran baa lehe Classic. I used to have this poem but I lost it. Thanks for posting this Dhiqle vs Sayidka soft battle. Maybe we should dedicate this small thread to Sayidka and his men. I will add to it Insha Allah.
