We are running out of options. According to research, plants feel pain when people eat them. http://modernfarmer.com/2014/10/plants-can-tell-theyre-eaten/
4. Everyday Asad wakes up he thinks about his future. He knows the Russians will not hesitate to sell him out when the right offer comes.
5. Good job. Capture all the big boi illegal fishers. They have no right to be stealing other people's resources.
6. If this comes to fruition, it will change lives.
7. Few days ago, he almost died. He was on the Daallo Airlines that Al-shabaab tried to blow up. Juje, if you are reading this, stay safe saxiib. That is pretty scary.
8. Are these girls minority 0.5 girls from the South? Is Culusoow going to send his own to Saudi Arabia?
9. @Suldaanka said: The Madoobe dude of Kismayo understands that he too exists because of foreign power and therefore when push comes to shove has to tow the line. In contrast the Pirate enclave enjoy a level of legitimacy from their people and that allows him to refuse what the people he represents don't accept. I agree. There are things Puntland can do which Madoobe can't.
10. Is Maydh a tuulo or a big town?
11. Illey is a criminal and the fact he assassinates dissidents at liberty in Hargeisa indicates he doesn't fear the wrath of the Somaliland admin.
12. The Prime Minister of Ethiopia chose to welcome someone else. It was a calculated choice, whatever that means.
13. Tallaabo is cool. So are Xabad and Tillamook. Its all in the spirit of a hot debate. Amin Amir hardly pens anything positive about Puntland or Somaliland. His lampoons reflect a typical Southern grievance.
14. ^^ That is a question that is perplexing many.
15. HARGEYSA- Somaliland government in northwestern Somalia is seeking to amass Central Bank with more power as shilling hits record low, Garowe Online reports. President Ahmed Mohamed Mohamud (Siilaanyo) has held emergency meeting with his cabinet and parastatals heads to adopt accelerated monetary policy including tight banknotes and authority overhaul. State Minister for Presidency Mohamud Hashi told reporters after extraordinary cabinet meeting at the presidential complex in the capital, Hargeisa that the government will take immediate steps in public financial management system. Among the new plans is increased circulation of domestic currency as public outcry is ensuing over extreme devaluation of Somaliland shilling, a currency minted locally. The currency crisis has left hundreds of vulnerable households more destitute. Somaliland, located in northwestern Somalia declared its independence from the rest of the county as de facto sovereign state in 1991 but it has not been recognized internationally yet. GAROWE ONLINE
16. What we are witnessing in Mogadishu is a mutilation of a nation by animals.
17. I see progress, kudos to these young Wariye, he has definitely set the bar high for Somali Journalism. I agree.
18. In hindsight, the city was lucky being controlled by one group (Somaliland) because it would have turned into another Galkacyo; lawless and dangerous. Eirigaava is an example of how a winner should manage a city while respecting the rights of the defeated lot. The only opportunity missed might have been on the growth side of things (economic, population). I checked google maps today and Eirigaava is the size of a very small town. Kudos to Saalax's relatives for keeping the peace all years past. Saalax, have you visited Erigavo? What is the clan make up there today? (put on your unbiased hat for a min.). I used to hear the Xudun, Badhan and Baargaal clans were all represented well in the pre-civil war era. Are things any different today?
19. Galbeedi, ever considered running for office in Puntland?
20. bosmanoglu, Turks are proud people, never silenced by anyone. Don't let xabad's heated conversation force you to flee. Your mission here is to highlight all the good work that the Turks are doing in Somalia and you should stick with that regardless of who disagrees. Don't be the first Turk to run away from battle.
