For MMA to say he would rather have Habesha and their Oromo stooges loot Somali land because there is a brutal Somali dictator ruling the country, is not much different from the same argument other Somalis have used against Siyaad Barre. No amount of death and destruction Illey ever did can be compared to Siyaad's tacadi and absolute annihilation of entire society in Northern Somalia. We all know where you stand on that issue. Saxib, we need to see the bigger picture. Nobody gives a dime about Illey and his deranged stooges in Jigjiga. If that dicatator can be removed by Somalis in peace or in battle, every Somali on SOL would support it. But let us not celebrate Habesha stooge Abiy with more weapons trying to displace our people to loot our resources more than that is already done by the brutal Habesha State. I think we should choose our words carefully because sometimes we all say things to score political points in debates. Let us hope this new conflict ends well and our people are safe in the end. We all want a peaceful, prosperous and independent Somali Galbeed.

Kadafi, we know what Illey is capable of, and all the human rights abuses. However, unionists, nationalists, secessionists, regionalist … every kind of SOLer understood the importance of safeguarding the Somali region's territorial integrity and autonomy regardless of how Illey got there in the first place. We knew there were ways to deal with Illey eventually, a Somali way, but I never expected sensible, respectable SOLers to be cheering for the complete occupation of the Somali Kilil by an Oromo militia. There are times to focus on the issues you mentioned, but today is not the day for that. The Somali region must not be occupied, and the Oromos must not install their own puppet. I am speechless saxib. Call me unrealistic, but I believe that Oromos have no business in sending their militia to occupy the Somali region.

Typical Somali narrowmindedness. We Somalis always focus on the little issues (Illey) and ignore the bigger picture.

Why aren't Somali leaders speaking up against the coming massacre? This is really terrible. Please keep the updates coming.

Is this guy threatening Djibouti with a military option?
-
Everyone who tries to move Somalia in the right direction is murdered by the unknown forces of evil. We don't know who these forces are. We have no idea what they truly want. We just know the killers are relentless and focused. They never miss an opportunity. Our elected leaders are unable or unwilling to do anything about the security situation in the country. This is more than hopeless.

There you go again. Another Somali region heading to a ruin and chaos. Abiy is following the blueprint exactly how it was planned by his handlers.

Oodweyne is talking peace. Where is Saalax in the video?

Oodweyne is back after he concluded his shir.

Dalmar1 actually makes a lot of sense. Farmaajo is a failure beyond repair.

I just checked Googled and many news outlets are reporting that Djibouti is shocked. This is a terrible piece of news. We were all under the impression that Djibouti was ok with Farmaajo's visit there and that the regional animosity was dying because Eritrea chose peace with its neighobors. I didn't know that Farmaajo did his little attention-seeking tour behind the back of our Djiboutian brothers who are screaming for help. What did Djibouti do to us?
-
This is a shocking letter. Can we confirm it is not fake news? If it is legit, this is a game changer. Farmaajo must be removed from office.

This must be the first time Puntland missed the opportunity to wish its citizens a "happy anniversary". Failure in Tukaraq. Failure in dealing with Kheyre. Failure in paying salaries of civil servants on time. It is a tough time for Puntland these days. Let us hope Puntland doesn't destroy itself before the next election. After the election, the state may have a hope of surviving with a new leadership at the helm.

UAE wants to have a loyal base in Somalia via Eritrean AMISOM troops.

Kheyre is not effective.

I think Galbeedi is underestimating the damage the Trumpers can do to Turkey's financial system. These guys are looking for any confrontation to change the news cycle as others said. It is easy for Trump to impose sanctions on Turkey and further weaken the Lira. He is looking for making things difficult for Erdogan because Erdogan would not give him a deal as he thought.

Should Somaliland 're adopt cigaal rayaales foreign policy
Holac replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
Xaaji wants Capital be moved to Hargeisa. He wants the power center to be shifted from Koonfuria to Northia. -
Mike Pence is pushing for this, but what are the ramifications of American sanctions on Turkey? Turkish currency is already under pressure. This is a very serious threat and it is all part of a game to bring down Erdogan.

Should Somaliland 're adopt cigaal rayaales foreign policy
Holac replied to Xaaji Xunjuf's topic in Politics
Xaaji, saxib times have changed. Somalia has a permanent government recognized by the world. We, the unionist camp, have the political edge now. The much hated transitional government ended long ago. I think Somaliland needs a team of experts to figure out a way forward. The status quo is making the people of Somaliland stagnate economically and socially. Development is moving fast in the rest of Somalia as internal dissent grows in Somaliland. Somaliland is also on the verge of a brutal civil war. I don't believe anyone with a right mind believes Somaliland is on a sustainable path. Come up with a real solution saxib. -
I couldn't tell you guys where she is from, but the man married up.
