  1. This Culusow lives in Mogadishan Elysian field of his own ornamented with neu-Warlordist scraptualist and distructivist concretist clatter - and intriguingly, he likes the serene ambiance of the rat-tat-tat AK47 tempo in beat. The man has an intricate acquired taste of a sort, I tell you.
  2. Let's be honest, Che has a point. The culuma have been ineffective and senile for 21 years. If they want to be considered and respected then let them untangle this situation in a reasonable manner. As it is, they truly have their own internal splits to overcome even before they can help the nation.
  3. Xaaji Xunduf: Mogadishu elders and MPS and Politicians they were like Xaw dastuurku sheega eebow . And last but not least Sultan Faisal cali Waraabe. Hahahaha Walaahi that cracked me up. Shoow dustruukuba lamaba akhrin illeen. Odayada don't know what hit them.
  4. 'Anigu when I find out that someone is a clan other than mine, waxaan odhan jiray 'war ninku ayaan daranaa'. - Said by Sangub in his geeljire times.
  5. ^He means Xaaji and You getting hot under the collar over the 'Somali' constitution. And Aren't you two not Somalilanders, for example?
  6. ^Carafaat, I appreciate your concerns sxb but don't get me wrong. What we are dealing with here is what needs to be done versus how things ought to be. They say the realists deal with the world 'as it is' while the idealists dream of the world 'as it ought to be'. I perused through the link you've given me and all I have seen is a dreamers' writ. And a whiff of nostalgia. The reality is tough and so the solution must be equally tough.
  7. Carafaat, please no convenient amnesia. You listed the names (made them relevant to our exchange) and bring them into the discussion and I put these people's intentions into a reasonable perspective. Carafaat;824806 wrote: Samafal, nice try to divert attention from real issue. President Shariif, former PM Geedi and former PM Ali Khaliif Galeyr, Galmudug also reject the constitution. It seems only Puntland supports the constitution. Unless Siilanyo told you he supports it as well. Thats a revelation, Carafaat. The list of names above reminds me of Abdiqaasin's TNG days except this time around Cali Khaliif, Mr. Fudayd, has his people (Khaatumo) lost and found in Mugadishu - and he is as always clueless. What he doesn't realise is that the modus operandi of the anti-constitution camp are deploying smells like 'lafa geri iyagaa laysku jibiyaa'. Cali needs to sober up and avoid getting jilted by the cheap sub-clan caadifad that catapulted him to Xamar. Sidelining Puntland clans by commencing a Hargaysa-Muqdisho alliance wouldn't help the Somali republic one bit. We gotta get real folks.
  8. Lol@Carafaat iyo Xaaji Xunduf. Walaahi haddaadba maanta Cali Khaliif guru ka dhigateen idinkaa cirka roob ku og. You guys need to refresh your mind's history repository. Wasn't Cali khaliif the very man who was present in Somaliland formation meeting and who sold off half of the country into secession back in the early 90s? Now all over sudden he is a national hero both secessionists and unionists herald as a saviour hero? Ain't life a fluke! Weren't the secessionists crying foul when Cali khaliif was constructing Khaatumo state just yesterday? Another thing, don't the secessionists know that the very reason why Khaatumo folk oppose the constitution may have more to do with their ill-placed rivalry towards Faroole's clan name than any sound policy considerations? Now about Faroole; I don't support many of his policies but if he happens to be right this time around, hell I'll sure support him. At lease I haven't know Faroole selling off a chunk of Somali territory. The question here is: who stands for constitution and who stands for chaos. I chose the former regardless of its supporters. My support is based on good will and commonsense and nothing else. I want to see a prosperous post-war Somali republic and that can only be achieved by a well thought constitution with its attendant federal apparatus.
  9. Lol@Carafaat. Sxb aniga iyo adiga in kastoon isku si wax u rabno: midnimada iyo wanaagga Somaliyeed, hadana we're on two irreconcilable paths. I see federalism and the draft constitution as a step forward. Yet you want to pull us back into the old quagmire of my clannish dichotomies. I want to usher in law and order, you wish to disturb that process. The problem is you cannot tell me that the mentality of 'my clan interests against yours' is the operative logic yet try to tell me 'don't mind that, let's have same old centralism'. We must first contain - as in unitary containment of the infections of the clan - and then cure the sick in good time and space, then reunite the units to form a federal whole. Its the little details that require a great deal of attention. Laba qof markay isku buuqaan you seperate them in order to cool off and come to their senses. Now the same is the case with Somalis. This issue of who gets what will become clear once the dust settles. And there is no need to rush at all. We should all the situation we're in to run its full natural course. This is because the reason why we are currently talking about constitution is that the situation has come to ahead and then the need naturally arose to solve the problems we have. And what is the biggest obstacle we have now? Hastiness and lack of vision. So folks calm down and don't expect everything to be solve overnight. If you dont calm down then we shall be back to scratch all over again. Miyir.
  10. ^The mirqaan-speak statistics. It maybe a lie but it sures makes a good coversation markuu mirqaanku tul yahay.
  11. So many years ago, I made my postion on federalism clear: I want it, welcome it and will uphold it. Why? Because its the confused and condensed nature of 'strong-man' centralised rule and power that actually creates wars. For a nation that is not known to have mastered the best of socio-political and administrative organisation and maintenance, each tuulo must be given the time and space they need to learn to settle their matters - without external pressure or influence. I endorsed the constitution, period. I eagerly welcome the talks between the TFG and Somaliland. I condone those who put obstacles before the talks. ...... Many yearts ago while in discussion with London solers and libaax who was visiting on future socio-political arrangements of Somalia, I suggested that the very clan must be legally codified into law, and made to account for the membership of each individual within it. Tax collection and law and ordinance implimentation should become enbolded and transparent. The truth is if you leave each clan to itself what you will find is that psychologically, the very competitive sensation which clannists exhibit that leads to tension simply disappears And familiarity and boredom usher in such change. Count them, tax them and rule them by their own clan's written by laws and within a short period of time they would cry out in desperation for the trivial intrigues and uncontrolled commotion of centralised power. They know they can hide within throngs and have their shady deals. Chaos and dhac dhac is the curse of the ill-grown and illiterate Somali psyche. Dawa ya moto ni moto, the Swahili say, now the cure of clan is through the introduction of stringent and ordered form of clanism. Ninkii waxar waydiinteeda kugu dhiba, wadiddeedaa lagu dhibaa adeer

  16. Raamsade;813637 wrote: True knowledge is the key here. And any inquiry into the truth is discouraged by by all organized religions because the truth will expose their little dirty secret. Like all secrets tugged under the rug for so long, there comes a time when the stench becomes unbearable. Hence, why Wadaads in general fight tooth and nail against the truth. The Theory of Evolution, a bonafide scientific theory as they ever come, is vehemently rejected by virtually all Wadaads. Mr. Raamsade, may I ask, is there one definition - or rather a 'delineation of the contours' of the constituency - of 'true knowledge' that you adhere to more than others? A positivist kind? I wonder. If so, perhaps you could be forgiven for casting all under one 'reality'. Afterall what we are all dealing with here are our endorsements of 'make-beliefs' and 'revealed-beliefs'. The only truth here is that we have multiple competing truths, objectivist or rationalist facts included. What I sense here is that you're advocating for the supremity of facts over held truths. Maybe pitting fact against fact or truth against truth would be the better protocol. If the opposite is done then the confusion remains for good. Let the believers belief and non-believers battle with non-believing facts. On that note, know that rationality itself is a state of mind that frequently changeful in accordance with ushered events. Don't shift about with them - simply remain. On ladies getting educated, I think for whatever its worth, they should be given equal opportunities - because if anything they make better students. The issue should be does Western education promote more culturally negative or positive values in girls more than boys? If so how can we better it together as a community for our own benefits. One factor we must not overlook easily is that one way or another cultures chance and influence each other - and that both genders are equally receptive to cultural change. If any thing proper education equips the individual - male or female - to differentiate between what is good or bad for them. Over all the whole world is undergoing the same stresses and challenges. So learn, adapt and overcome. That is if you want to live and remain in qurboland for a long time. PS: I may joke with women in SOL about some issues but seriously I wouldnt have allowed if my own 2 sisters were denied education! "cos they were damn good at it and have long finished it and are raising beautiful families. They are most modest and most intelligent and thank Allah and good education for that! Samafal, i'm good my brother Alxamdullaah! I hope you are well. Nothing remarkably new i'm afraid.

  18. In fact, what makes their killing different than the rest is that it is considered to be normal. People seem to have normalized to the notion that, because the enemy is so powerful, victims who resist oppression have only themselves to blame for the punishments they suffer. That I concur with. However brother Mukhtar might well spread the message of brotherliness with a conciliatory tone. It is indeed the undeniable truth that somewhere along our short life span we must confront our own ignorance. A brother once is a brother eternally. We need to grow up.
  19. I fail to see that point of the list. Please enlighten a fellow soler, could you?
