Since there are no schools to teach us the standard way of writing our language and learning the positive aspects of our culture, SOL has taken that extra step to create an opportunity for many Nomads to learn via the proposed section. Do you know anything about Somali Horoscope, by any chance? Believe it or not the Nomadic Somali way of life has a horoscope and many of us aren't fully aware of it. As it goes, unlike Scopios and few other stars, the Somali, it has been narrated have 28 holes of the Sun. Each hole corresponds to a period of the year. You may be born in hole of the Sun that says you are more likely to become rich or sociable than others. Well there you have it. PS: It sounds very unislamic, but hey, I am using the Somali horoscope as an example.

I also haven't seen any answers you have given to the questions I have asked. I have read an irelevant comment. As usual to us, we opt for the negative only to be told the change is for positive reasons. People do you have to look at one side and never even contemplate whether there is another side of the coin? "Somali language has been decrimated this!" and "Somali website that!" For Allaah's sake - get a grip people and be positive and reasonable once! Though there hasbeen some complaints, the change proposed is also intended to make space for Somali writers off all ages - a more comprehensive section where writing and learning Somali language is hosted. More like inviting older Somali writers whom some of us (Me included) can learn from them in terms of Somali knowledge. So, people why can't you even wait for an explanation? This proposed section will be attracting and inviting well-known Somali composers, Poets, Singers and Artists in order to learn more about Somali literature in general! Its a pity that one can advocate for a region without being made - officially or unofficially- an advocate. One shall dare not advocate for a tribe/s because one was cheated with the belief that he or she belongs in it. It is every Somali's duty to educate him/herself in order to liberate him/herself from the eternal lie such as 'clan and kinsghip'. Whosoever bought or was born into the concept of the 'clan', and become highly educated, but still remains a client to it shall forever, remain, eternally foolish.

J11 what is aim of SOL? The topic attempts to bring back SOL to how it use to be. The aim of SOL was to create a platform whereby best minds can exchange ideas. The desired result was to bring like-minded people together in a bid to enhance Education and success in communication between Somali students and professionals of all fields. As it stands SOL has gathered quite a number of students and professionals and insha-allaah its existance will serve as a great expressional tool that promotes better Somaliness and progress. I regard the users of SOL forums the best young Somali minds that had ever gathered in the internet so far. So, Nomads - individually, I'd like to ask these questions: Question 1: Do all of us think of what we write when starting a topic or posting a reply? Question 2: If there were students that learn from the wisdom of the words we write (in SOL), do we think our words contain any useful information that can benefit them (student)? Question 3: About chitchats, do our words in regards to general talk contain anything beneficial to any reader that browses SOL, or does our chitchat serve any purpose? Question 4: When we start a topic what is our intention? Are we after learning from others' opinions or just to seek popularity of some kind? PS: I say 'we' because some of us -including me- post replies without thinking twice.

Currently, I own a DVD with the whole Qur'an. I don't own none musical, but in the net did listen to Musical. However, my time of listening to music is coming to an end.
