  1. Positive, I'd like to suggest a book called 'I Am That' to you. I have been reading it for the last 2 years now and though not Islamic, it has pretty good answers of realising the ' I Am-ness' of the Person or the Witness and away from the deceptions of our brain. http://www.fixdisease.com/i_am_that.pdf The seeker is he who is in search of himself. Give up all questions except one: ‘Who am I?’ After all, the only fact you are sure of is that you are. The ‘I am’ is certain. The ‘I am this’ is not. Struggle to find out what you are in reality. To know what you are, you must first investigate and know what you are not. Discover all that you are not -- body, feelings thoughts, time, space, this or that -- nothing, concrete or abstract, which you perceive can be you. The very act of perceiving shows that you are not what you perceive. The clearer you understand on the level of mind you can be described in negative terms only, the quicker will you come to the end of your search and realise that you are the limitless being. 2. Knowledge, I find, most disabling. I wish now that I didn't know all that I have known through knowing. I feel fettered by its strictures and social structures to feel free - or even know the real. Knowledge is imprisonment within the contours of what is known. Perception, then conception, and then integration seems the imprisoning routine of life. All known things can be divided into (a) conditioned stimuli and (b) unconditioned stimuli, which underpin all else - whether sensed or imagined. To be quite honest, I want out! To go beyond the tedious toil of reacting to the mind's dictatorial orders. Oh transcendence! Find me sooner and offer me the Supreme Reality! Posting is labourous lately. Why
  3. Maaddeey: Sharaamiid & Shuyuukhda hala sentence ha soo wada gelinin waryaa!. I agree with Maaddeey. Please use shaandho for sentence construction, folks.
  4. Qof weliba meel buu ka bukkaa, Wallee. Maxaa keenay all this nacnac? The topic is simply a reminder of the 'start of the ending' of what WAS a Somali state. Think: a way forward. Not constant constipated hodhodho'.
  5. This topic is a good man with a good proposal and a bunch of lunies. War listen to Norf. He means good. Duf ku baxa.
  6. ^Innaa lillaah. Oo reer halkeed iska hesheen markii dambe?
  7. It was simply fantastic, it was. Trouble is though, I thought that was one of my old dreams....now Im finding out its not. You see, I always had this dream...no..no..more like vision..that one day I'll be ruling Empire Somaliana - holding for/and beguiling world with cup tournaments like the Fifa one. Of course I had reserved SL as a place fitting to serve as my own Gulag.
  8. I fear for the ones with AS more than the ones with the TFG. Kuwan TFGda adeegsaneyso inteey shilimaadku jingle-gareynayaan unbeey sii joogayaan. No jingle no jaad and no job. But what of the AS kids? Tragic realities in both cases. Waa noo fayuujar.
  9. Lool@nuune. Hi Malika. Meelna. Just having a walk over the W. Mid-lands and few other places. Im in the miyigii dee. Nuune...tanna ma xasuusataa? [in Careys Ciise saar style] Maji waa Biyo madoow Mikono waa gacmaha Miguu waa laba laguud Mchele waa Bariis! Oo midi kale waxaan lahaa! Aheey....runtaaa
  10. ^Habaar waalid ma soo martay horta? Qaar badanoo habaar waalid dharkiii kaga soo tagay ayuu meeshaad taqiinay ku waraabinaayey berigaa. I spotted the first 4 of all new qax-ers from Xamar. I was saddened by their sight. I was to head bad to the old country. 'War maxaad waddankii uga soo cararteen, yaadse uga soo tagteen? Ma waalan tihiin?' ayaan kaga la dhamaan waayey. nuune, Allaha u naxariistayga indheer garad lagu caasiyey ayuu ahaa. Soomaalidii berigaa is waali jirtey, maanta waa kuu caadi u waalan. Ka xaaxaabi iga dheh.

  13. ^War heedhe Oodweynoow adeer, Dee nafaqada aad Laas Qorey ka hesheen isii isku baanshe waa war cad. Laakinse in aad marna geel baan leeyahay ku soo gabatid, marna wax ma dabi aqaan balse geedahaan daaqi aqaan igu tihaahdo waa laga roonyahay. Ee nafaqada LQ ayaan rabaa i dheh adeer, aan kuugu deeqnee!
  14. ^Don't change the subject, my friend. You know you are in 'high anxiety' about the coming ''elections''. The score is pretty much known, and none bothers to predict otherwise. If it's your land, your vote for your choice of government, why has it taken you seven years of semi-dictatorship? And this time around, SL will probably end up with another imposed-ruler (of the Duriyada ofcourse) and, pleasantly, the Duriyada will say nada - lest they protest against the unfair results and the enemies (all other Somalis) of SL will laugh. That's all it is about - the commotion is that fear of others laughing- I mean. Keeping up appearances in a vain bid to impress others. Holy Naivity! Lol. Lordy lord. Anyway, ma idin ka dhab baa the idea of SL? Hooskaghadhangadha!

  16. ^Well, there's always a major demand to have 'flag-waving -ruled mass'. They're entertainment. Poor folk.
  17. Somalis say: 'Ninkii waaw yiraahdo, isagaa laga war suggaa'. Turkey can shout and do her share their fair bit of chest-beating, but what exactly does Turkey have to threaten Israel? Nothing. Eber! It's no show. [hooskagadhangadha iga dheh]

The Lundins are serious players which have had a special interest for Somalia since ages (both Puntland and Somaliland actually) but they've sticked with Puntland since its under the auspices of the TFG and the best option in terms of the legal details that will sprout up along with the first oil-showers. Indeed, G. Somaliland is currently in a legal limbo of some sorts. What a shame. Advice to SL: rejoin and regain!
  19. ^SSC and Maakhirites are the lions keeping a guard of the Tree of Somali Weyn. The confused deer is ofcourse Somalidiid. The Tree is still strong, don't you think? Oh have you seen the resurgence of the Blue Flag lately? Somalidiidku waa loo yaabaa beryahan, ma is tiri?
  20. Allaha u naxariisto. And their death of the people of Buuhoodle and Laascaanood WILL be avenged.
  21. Buuxo: Casharka maanta aan kaa guursado ama ii guuri casharka " . Seebeey asal ahaan Gu' iyo uur uga fircanta? Haddaan bal yara falanqeeyo 'etymology-ga' ereyga 'guursado ama ii guuri', waxaan oran lahaa ereygu asalkiisu wuxuu ku sal hayaa a sense of transition, something in motion more like - kolka haddaad ii guuri casharka tiraahdo, waxaad u dan leedahay micnihiisu waa: ii soo wareeji 'jiraha-qoraal' ee ku yaal buuggaaga oo kayga ku buuxo' - ala while still in the context of 'minguuri'. Hadaba ereyyga Guur iyo weliba Guure (Geedi) markii la qiyaaso oo ereyga hore loo kala qaybiyo labo: Gu' Ur, waa macquul in sida nuune sheegay tahay, balse, hadana waxaa is weeydiin leh, marka laga eego 'context-ka' moving from iskaabulonimo to guur, could it not be the fact that the characteristics of that transition creates the term Guur? Doobku marka uu geela la jiro waa cag-furan oo reer ku xiran maleh, oo hadba siduu doono iyo halkuu doono ayuu ka dhacaa - balse markuu aqal galo, waxaa danta ku qasabtaa in uu reerkiisa uusan ka ag dheeraan oo uu la guureeyo. Taa waa mid. Tan kale - nuune - weliga ma maqli jirtey ur jir markaad Sarrif iyo Biya Madow kaakacaayda ku ahayd? Soo koreyda kaa roonroon kugu ma oran jirin, 'waryaa is ilaali Libaax-baa ur jirta joogee?' Lol. Marka ma noqon kartaa in guur magaciisu ka yimi Gu as in the rainy season iyo Ur as in smelling the rain's saxansaxo, thus in the promise of rain and good pasture, young men becoming qooq-filled and women becoming broody? Just like the animals they keep? Weli ma maqashay heesta Xassan Aadan Samatar uu ku leeyahay: 'Saxansaxo sideedaan, Sanka kuu la raacaa' ? That song is the best Somali song that describes the miyi environment like no other. Listen to it.
