  2. Af Soomaaligii caadiga ahaa ayaaba loo maara la'yahayee oo dhalinyarada nuskood ka tagay( ) ee ma waxaad sugaysay kan in la fahmo? It would be interesting to hear it spoken though
  3. ^^^sounds immensely painful! and it seems like this is the common depiction of Ishq universally...but I wonder, maybe you can enlighten me Mr. Sophist...why do lovers permit themselves to reach this deep stage, perhaps a stage of insanity?...does logic become totally inapplicable when it comes to the matters of the heart?...I'm asking cuz You seem like your going through this phase freshly (or maybe not, no offense) I know some would say qalbigu af gooni ah buu la soo baxaa markuu caashaq hayo, laakin, I can't help but question. I'm just a bit too cynical about this whole concept of Ishq, actually even about love..yea, really! It never seizes to amaze me why ppl would put themselves through its hassles
  4. well at least she's better than your last date who was a trans
  5. Salam, Ok, is this the city that i just visited this past summer? I gotta say, your all excellent at making a place as disasterous and as unappealing look so good or "sound" so good rather. I mean, Cedar?, c'mon now....the place is nothing but filthy with gangs sitting outside drinking their lives away, literally. I really am sorry to burst your bubbbles all you Minni lovers, but i have to say, i have been to better looking cities!. Honestly, that was the worst summer of my life...and i wont even mention the mosquitos, God, i came home thinking that i had gotten the West nile...astaghfurula, lol...however, few sites might have been exceptional, like the downtown, the u of m campus i thought was ok although it too had this 18th century, Victorian look to it, and the suburbs weren't too bad. But in general, the whole achitecture of the city was rather dim. So i'd rate it 5 on a scale of 1-10!!! So all those ppl who haven't been to Mn and were thinking to vistit perhaps this summer...you might wanna think twice and all those who weren't thinking about it...your not missing anything. oh yea, i forgot to mention the so called "malls" , face it ppl...it's just a damn bacadle with bunch of unattractive dudes crowding the entrance and looking at women like they've never seen any... speaking of looks, this is for the girlies...let me just say, that city is deprived of all the good looking brothers if u know what i mean, in comparison to the T-dot ofcourse. Anyhow, i've said all i could say and i could go on but i'll leave at that for now cuz i know all you "loyal" residents esp the guyz are gonna wanna jump me, lol. So pls ppl, enough is enough, stop this fake advertisement. Ciao everyone
  6. salaam, I really do agree with the person who posed this issue. I believe that we have as somalis come to a phase of our lives where we can no longer be as proud as we used to be, or where we can no longer take a credit for being from one of the most religious nations on earth. It's true that our ppl adapt to western cultures very quickly and i believe that it's due to their lack of both secular and religious education. Where do we get our value-sytems from as muslims??..obviously our beloved religion, and if we are not reinforcing the teachings of Islam in our youth or even adults, then chances are pretty slim that they will have any morals or guidance in life. Hence why following the western norm would make sense to them or seem appealing to them. And one last point...i really don't think that this is in any way related to gender because we have sure witnessed both men and women who have been "lost" if you will. So may Allah bestow his mercy on us and increase our imaan and taqwa!!!
