salaam every one. Me too am experiencing a similar problem with the chat lines in general; I haven’t used any since I replaced my old computer.Whenever I try to get into one the whole website disappears (actually the whole internet window disappears). I suspect dat it could be a virus as I have no protection against it. But on the other hand I think I saved a lot of time ...wouldn’t u agree? Could anybody help pls......

You have raised a good point to discus because not many of our ppl know the guide lines of Islam regarding the issue of mingling with woman. There is a verse in the quran that prohibits zina “adultery†or anything that leads to it (walaa taqrabu a zinaa inahuu kaana faaxashatan wa saa’ sabiilaa) and this issue is a classical example of social attitudes that pave away for such sins to be committed. I don’t know if you have noticed or not but when you ask some ppl about this issue they say “this is how the civilised ppl does it†but truly what they are missing and thus looking for is satisfaction from their dull lives and impotent ideologies that won’t provide them with any lasting solutions. In order to justify the above verse and my explanation, all you have to do is to reflect on your emotions and those of the opposite sex while in any encounters (I mean long periods of association such as class rooms class rooms or work places) that you had with them. In my humble experience I have witnessed it many times and to be honest a significant proportion of females do give the sheydan a hand by the means of flirting and arousing ones feelings and of course the same applies to men. All of this constitutes in a way or another to the sheydan’s efforts to deviate the Muslims from their right path and with out a doubt the best option is to back off as I did. Another precaution is marriage. I hope to have contributed positively. *some one correct me if anything is wrong especially the aayah* By no means am claiming to be a good muslim.

On a serious note though I will WALAAHI advice you to look for some sort of a treatment as you are the hope of many ppl who are stranded and are hostages to qabyaalad back home.

"He is taking back the north to the past". is that what u wish on your brothers up north? ....very evil indeed. -
Kudos to George Galloway and am glad that we haven't woken up with Howard in Downing st. As for the labour they won as was expected but nevertheless there is two main points. 1) they will learn a good lesson and hopefully will refrain from attacking other muslim countries illegally. 2) G Galloway will definitely make his presence felt in the parliament for the coming 4 or 5 yrs. * *me didn't vote coz i was too busy*

Originally posted by NGONGE: quote: (At the end one wonders which sect is on the right path? which obviously can be avoided by doing a little research given that u have some basic knowledge of the deen) Could it? I might have over estimated the easiness of finding the right sect but the logical way to go about it would be to analyse each Islamic argument separately with all the available quranic and hadith proofs while at the same time exercising caution. It’s an important issue to discuss yet at the same time very sensitive. I am not an expert in the deen so by all means feel free to correct.

^^^it's really hard to tell if they are making any progress in the third world counteries but the following is what the IRIN had to say about the somaliland women. http://www.somaliland.org/ns.asp?ID=05050303

^^^I too find it hard to concentrate whenever my exams get nearer, especially when am at home and that’s why I usually revise in the libraries. Even physical exercises can easily distract my attention from the revision. But I do really start praying a lot although its not good to pray only when you feel venerable but that’s just me i can't help it!! (Inshalaah this year I won't stop praying) Above everything my biggest secret is to follow a detailed and a strict revision plan. Good luck with ur exams Moth, hope u achieve what you aiming for.

The whole issue of the permissibility of voting under the islamic laws is indeed very confusing for the average muslim in Britain nevertheless its claimed by many that voting constitutes to mushaawara (consultation) and wakala (agency of proxy) which are both part of the sharia. In the case of the al-muhaajiruun and the likes I personally think they are very extreme and sometimes they go as far as questioning whether its halal to stay in this country!! which makes the whole voting issue look trivial. I doubt if there is any straight forward proofs from the Hadith and the Quran but instead each group is using verses that aren't directly addressing this issue, hence adding more confusion to the subject. (At the end one wonders which sect is on the right path? which obviously can be avoided by doing a little research given that u have some basic knowledge of the deen) After what happen in France regarding the Hijab i think the muslim vote in Britain is crucial if we are to stay in this country with our muslim teachings preserved.

Respect is the unity coalition party in the U.K it's a very interesting party lead by George Galloway one of the most controversial politicians in Britain. They have a very pro migration, anti-war and Islam friendly policies. They also have many muslim candidates who are standing for the general election on the 5th of May, I don't know if it's true or not but a friend was telling me about a somalian guy who is also standing for respect. I thought I should share with u guys his interesting message so here it's: http://www.respectcoalition.org/index.php?ite=642 Anywayz share with us ur take on the respect issue whether u think they are worth voting for especially when you have the BNP (British National Party) who is openly racist and when you have Tony on the other hand who still insists on his so called “liberation of Iraq†and you never know where his next stop would be………. could it be Iran or strangely enough could it be Somalia………OUCH  P.S George Galloway used to be a member of the labour party but due to his strong anti-war views he has been dismised. He is originally from Ireland and as he mentiones in the video cilp his grand parents came to Britain on bare feet. (Hey, I would say they were a genuine refugee in contrast to some of our ppl who came flying ) He is also married to a palestinian lady who works as a university lecturer.
