They deserve to be applauded for this action although it’s long overdue. There are plenty of killings done by Al-shabaab which has not been resolved yet. Some of the killings happened in broad daylight often the victims are gunned down outside mosque after they have just prayed!

Sharif should resign period.! He doesn't even have control of his troops .....running to Mel Zenawi is not the answer.
