Aren't there any Nomad IT graduates in US ? If so holla back plz. Cheers
-
I am about to graduate in few months inshallah and can't wait to blend in the IT market ASAB. Here in UK, the wage of an IT graduates is not that good, it is about 17k - 22k(if you are lucky, that is). So would love to know, the wage of an IT graduate in US? And how is the market over there? Over here IT market is gradually improving and it has been widely predicted that it will keep growing steadily for the next few years. If I don't get what I want in UK, will probably be migrating to US...!

I must say Mogadishu warlords do not want to see peace in Somalia at all : 1. For the past 15 years they derailed all the peace processes. 2. They all voted for Abdullahi Yusuf – although Eng Cadow was most suited for the position however, they went ahead for voting him - and in two weeks later they were against him (strange) 3. Now, they initiated building Administration for Banadir Region and guess what, they refused it again before even the people in the region have their say...! These guys are taking us hostages.

Behold, mockery of the Hijab(i.e. Calling names of Muslim women who wear the Hijab) is a mockery of Allah's words , period. Allah Almighty says: "O Prophet! Tell thy wives and thy daughters and the women of the believers to draw their cloaks close round them (when they go abroad). That will be better, so that they may be recognized and not annoyed. Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful." (Al-Ahzab: 59) Also, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Asma', daughter of Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with them): "O Asma'! Once a girl reaches puberty, nothing of her body may be seen (by non-mahrams) except this and these, (he pointed to his face and hands while saying so).""

Maskiin, I laahay ha unaxariisto. This is why we need to have any kind of government just to represent us but then that might not happen. For instance, When Col Yay visited Yemen this week, I was hopping he was gonna talk about the poor refugee people who were killed and prisonned by the Yemen government but then as usual dheg jalaq muusan u siin So that leaves me just pray, pray and pray that Allah will bestow us a good government which is lenient to the poor people and will represent us.

HornAfrik Radio has tendency of broadcasting baseless information some times. For example, just last week it reported that there was a fight erupted in Cabudwaq which has caused a lot of casualties, which in fact was baseless, and they never apologise for their misleading information. I have also came across another a legation in which the Islamic courts in Mogadishu were complaining about HornAfrik and how they report misleading news. So I guess you shouldn’t include this Radio to the list of good Radios/websites out there. Personally though, I think the finger pointing to the BBC and its editor is not fair and is politically motivated. Therefore, this accusation has nothing to do with the ways in which the BBC is administrated or the way Mr. Grad handles his work in that matter.

I do experienced the same problem and I couldn't figure it out what is causing the problem. I have even tried on their website but no joy. Any help will be appreciated.

somali economic future---->CHINA (rather work with them than adaan folk)
Dhubad. replied to THE EMPEROR's topic in Politics
China's policy towards Africa is based on "scratch my back and I will scratch yours" They take row materials from the continent in return they build infrastructure for them. So it is fare and less demanding and everyone at the end of the day will be happy. The US on the other hand, they demand a lot from the regimes in Africa and therefore, whatever they do there is string attached to it (i.e. Religion, Democracy etc), which is why china is taking over the Africa. As for Somalia, China did for us a lot in fact more than what the Italians, England and Suadi-Arabia put together has done for us over the last 100 years. -
I think also Buulo Xaaji comes before kismayo(the north of Kismayo)if I can remember right...

I don't think you will recieve the same punishment but it is good not be a friend with such a person as he is cursed..! This is what the prophet(SAW) said about friendship: Abu Musa Al-Ash`ari (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “The example of a good companion and a bad one is the bearer of musk and the worker on the bellows. A bearer of musk would give you some, you might buy some from him, or you might enjoy the fragrance of his musk. The worker on the bellows, on the other hand, might spoil your clothes with sparks from his bellows, or you get a bad smell from him.†(Reported by Al-Bukhari and Muslim, this version being Muslim’s) I hope that helps.

The man was obviously moved by passion for his religion...and to put a gay song on top and post it on a muslim forum is nothing short of disgusting. Inflicting any kind of harm to your body is not part of our Islamic religion. So I don't what passion you are talking about. There are numerous Hadiths that condemn such action. The gay Music on the other hand, is disgusting and 100% agree with you.

My highlights of 2005 were: 1. Finished my placement year successfully without any hitchs(Allhamdulilah). 2. Successfully completed my first year of Marriage life, which was wonderful (Marriage life is blessed, I recommend to all the Nomad singles to sort themselves out..!) 3. Did some work for a Somali Charity Organisation who are currently doing variety of projects back home. Ilaahay khayrka 2006 ha nasiiyo!
